しかるに、特許文献1に示される端部カバーは、紐状物の端部への取り付け状態の確保を、この端部への前記スパイクの突き刺し、あるいは、突き立てによらしめるに留まるものであった。

そこで、この発明は、紐状ないしは帯状物の端部に対し、容易かつ安定的に取り付けることができると共に、この端部のカバー状態を常時安定的に維持可能な端部カバーを提供することを主たる目的とする。

【課題を解決するための手段】
前記目的を達成するために、請求項1記載の発明にあっては、紐状ないしは帯状物の端部カバーを、以下の(1)〜(3)の構成を備えたものとした。
(1)頭部と、紐状ないしは帯状物を挟持可能とする少なくとも二以上の挟持用脚部とを備えた雄部材と、
(2)筒一端を紐状ないしは帯状物の引き出し開口とし、かつ、筒他端を雄部材の挟持用脚部の入れ込み開口とした筒状をなす雌部材とを備えていると共に、
(3)雌部材には、紐状ないしは帯状物を間に入れ込ませた状態で入れ込み開口から雌部材内に入れ込まれる雄部材の挟持用脚部を、この入れ込みに伴って紐状ないしは帯状物を挟み付ける向きに撓み込ませる締め込み用内壁部が備えられている。

かかる構成によれば、雌部材の引き出し開口から雌部材内に入れ込まれ、かつ、入れ込み開口から引き出された紐状ないしは帯状物の端部を、雄部材の二以上の挟持用脚部の間に入れ込ませた後、
この雄部材の二以上の挟持用脚部を雌部材の入れ込み開口からこの雌部材内に入れ込ませることによって、この二以上の挟持用脚部を前記締め込み用内壁部によって撓み込ませることができ、このように撓み込まされる二以上の挟持用脚部によってこの二以上の挟持用脚部間に入れ込まれた紐状ないしは帯状物の端部をこの二以上の挟持用脚部間から抜け出さないように挟み付けることができる。
