Abstract

本発明は、主として電力線、電話線などのケーブルあるいはワイヤー、チェーンなどの線材を巻き付けるのに適した紙製リールに関するものである。

【従来の技術】
従来から、上記のようなケーブル、ワイヤー、チェーンなどの比較的重量のある線材を巻き付けるリールは、合成樹脂製のリールや木製のリールが使用されている。そのリールは、巻胴の両側端にフランジを一体的に取り付けて構成されており、巻胴の外周面に捲装物を巻き付けると共に、両端部のフランジにより巻回された捲装物の端部を保護して巻姿を揃えている。

前者の合成樹脂製のリールは、型成形で作られているので大量生産に適し、外観が美しい利点はあるものの、型代及び材料費が嵩むと共に、使用後に産業廃棄物として焼却処分されると、焼却炉から出る排ガス中に有害物質が含まれているため、焼却場の周辺地域の環境が汚染される問題がある。特に、昨今の廃棄物処理に伴う種々の好ましくない社会問題から、リサイクル使用が望まれているのに拘わらず、リサイクルできないと言う問題点があった。

後者の木製のリールは、重くて使い勝手が悪く、不用になれば焼却できる便利性はあるが、釘などの金具類が多く使われているため、焼却する前に金具類と分別しなければならず、その作業に多大の手間と時間を費やさなければならなかった。さらに、木材資源の枯渇や原木価格の高騰および地球環境保護の観点からも適さないと言う問題点があった。

このような欠点を解消するものとして、軽くて取り扱いが容易で、かつ安価であると共に、不用になればリサイクルの故紙として板紙などに再利用できて、産業廃棄物として公害問題の生じることがない紙管と厚紙とからなる紙製のリールが提案されている。(例えば、特許文献1.2参照)

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
しかしながら、前記の特許文献1、2の紙管と厚紙からなる紙製リールは、巻胴外筒と、放射状の切目を刻説した鍔体と、その鍔体を巻胴外筒の両側部に取り付ける圧着用内筒とで構成されており、電力線、電話線などのケーブルあるいはワイヤー、チェーンなど重量のある線材を巻回すると、巻胴に大きな巻圧がかかり、その重荷重に耐えることができず、撓んで正確に巻きつけることができなかったり、巻胴と鍔体の接着個所が剥がれて潰れたりして使用することができなかった。

また、工事現場や倉庫に保管する時などに、リールを転がして移動すると接地するフランジが弱くて折損や破損することがあった。さらに、捲装物に巻き癖がつかないように巻胴を大径にすると、圧着用内筒の径も大きくなって必然的に内径と外径の差を大きくできなかった。そのため、軸心部を強化しなければ弱体化するがその手段が施されていなかった。例えば、中心の軸孔にシャフトを挿通すると共に、鍔体の外面から挟み具で圧着して捲装物の巻回、解舒を行う場合に、鍔体の左右方向からの面圧に耐えられず、摩擦スリップが生じたり、鍔部が損傷して巻回、解舒不良が生じるなど正確な巻取りができないと言った問題点があった。

本発明は、上記の課題を解決することを課題として開発されたもので、巻胴部と軸部が三重構造になっており、全体が紙製で形成されているが充分に強度があり、ケーブル、ワイヤー、チェーンなど重荷重のかかる線材などでも巻き取ることができると共に、軸方向(長さ方向)の外力に対しても強化を図り、損傷、破損を防止し、また、組み立て製作が容易となり、不用になればリサイクル故紙として再利用でき資源保護に役立つ有益な紙製リールを提供することを目的とするものである。

【課題を解決するための手段】
上記の課題を解決し、その目的を達成する手段として、本発明では、巻胴紙管と、軸紙管と、中心部に放射状の切り目を設けた厚紙の鍔体と、その鍔体を巻胴紙管および軸紙管の両側に取り付ける打ち込み用の内筒紙管とから構成されており、内筒紙管の打ち込みにより切り目の折り込み片が巻胴紙管と内筒紙管および軸紙管と内筒紙管の間に接着してなる巻胴部と軸部がそれぞれ三重構造に構成されていることを特徴とする紙製リールを開発し、採用した。

さらに、本発明では、巻胴紙管と、その巻胴紙管の両端を嵌合する孔を穿設した厚紙の鍔体と、軸紙管と、中心部に放射状の切り目を設けた厚紙の鍔体と、その鍔体を軸紙管の両側に取り付ける打ち込み用の内筒紙管とから構成されており、内筒紙管の打ち込みにより切り目の折り込み片が軸紙管と内筒紙管の間に接着してなる軸部が三重構造に構成されていることを特徴とする紙製リールを開発し、採用した。

【発明の実施の形態】
以下に、本発明の第1実施の形態を添付の図1〜図4に基づいて説明すると、本発明に係る紙製リールは、大径の巻胴紙管1と、小径の軸紙管2と、中心部に放射状の切り目4を設けた厚紙製の鍔体3と、その鍔体3を巻胴紙管1および軸紙管2の両側端に取り付けるための打ち込み用の内筒紙管6とで構成されている。

上記の巻胴紙管1および軸紙管2は、帯状の原紙をスパイラル状に多重層巻付け、下層の原紙と上層の原紙を接着剤で互いに接着して形成した円筒状の紙管であり、巻胴紙管1を大径に、軸紙管2を小径に形成されている。

鍔体3は合板紙やダンボールシートなど強度の高い厚紙を円形に打ち抜いたもので、例えば、板紙の貼り合せシートを複数枚重合接着したものでもよいし、あるいはダンボールシートを複数枚重合接着したものでもよく、転がしたりしても充分に耐えうる強度と厚さを備えている。
