Abstract

<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a base body of a game machine island unit which can secure wide installing spaces of the game machines without increasing the width of the base body of a game machine island unit. <P>SOLUTION: A base body 1 of the game machine island unit is constituted of a mid-stage part where a slot machines 60 are installed, an upper stage part formed above the mid-stage part and a lower stage part formed below the mid-stage part. The mid-stage part comprises game machine installing spaces 77 which are formed above a counter 35 at the lower stage part to install the respective slot machines 60 therein, device installing spaces 78 which are formed between the game machine installing spaces 77 across the width of the base body 1 to install the related devices therein, partition spaces 79 which are formed between the game machine installing spaces 77 adjacent to each other along the length of the base body 1 and mid-stage supports 10 for supporting the upper stage part. 【発明の属する技術分野】
本発明は、遊技媒体を回収する回収機構が内設可能な下段部と、前記下段部の上方で遊技機及び貸出機が設置可能な前記中段部と、前記中段部の上方で前記遊技機や前記貸出機に遊技媒体を補給する補給機構が内設可能な上段部と、からなる遊技機島台の基体に関するものである。

【従来の技術】
従来、スロット機やパチンコ機等の遊技機が設置される遊技機島台の基体としては、図８及び図９に示すようなものがある。図８は基体７０の側面図であり、図９は基体７０を中段部７２で切断した平面図で基体７０に遊技機６０等を設置した状態を表している。このような基体７０は、基体７０の高さ方向において下方から、メダルや玉等の遊技媒体を回収する回収機構が内設可能な下段部７３と、下段部７３の上方であって遊技機６０が設置される遊技機設置スペース７７及び遊技媒体を貸し出す貸出機２２が設置される貸出機設置スペース８０等を下段部７３のカウンター７６上方に形成される中段部７２と、中段部７２の上方であって遊技機６０や貸出機２２に遊技媒体を補給する補給機構が内設可能な上段部７１とで形成されている。

また、中段部７２には、上述した遊技機６０や貸出機２２の他に、目隠し部材７４が設けられるようになっている。この目隠し部材７４は、種々の事情（例えば、遊技機６０の前面扉が開閉時に接触してしまうこと等）により基体７０の長手方向で隣り合う遊技機６０の間に形成される間仕切りスペース７９に設けられ、基体７０の内部を閉塞するためのものである。

次に、中段部７２における基体７０の幅方向について説明する。上述した中段部７２に形成される遊技機設置スペース７７の間には、機器設置スペース７８が形成されている。この機器設置スペース７８には、上段部７１を支持するための中段支柱７５が配置されていると共に、図示はしていないが紙幣や硬貨等を搬送する搬送装置等の関連機器が基体７０の長手方向に亘って設置されるようになっている。このように中段部７２は、中段支柱７５が配置されていると共に関連機器が設けられる空間の機器設置スペース７８と、遊技機６０が設けられる空間の遊技機設置スペース７７等が確保されている。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
ところで、近年、遊技機６０においては、ゲームの趣向性を向上させるための表示装置や、それを制御する基板等が大型化する傾向にあり、遊技機６０の前後方向（基体７０の幅方向と同方向）において幅の広いものが販売されるようになってきている。このため、このような遊技機６０が基体７０に設置される場合、遊技機６０が設置可能であろうと予測していた遊技機設置スペース７７内には収まらず、機器設置スペース７８に突出して中段支柱７５に接触してしまうという問題が生じることがある。

このような問題を解決するため、基体７０の幅を広くして遊技機設置スペース７７を広くすることで対応していたが、このような幅の広い基体７０にしてしまうと、従来幅の基体７０であれば設置可能であった本数と同じ本数の基体７０を設置することができず、設置される遊技機６０の数が減少してしまうという問題が生じるケースが考えられ、遊技場にとって好ましい対応ではなかった。そこで、本発明は、上記の事情に鑑みなされたもので、その目的は、基体の幅を広くすることなく幅の広い遊技機設置スペースを確保することが可能な遊技機島台の基体を提供することにある。

【課題を解決するための手段】
上記目的を達成するために、請求項１に係る発明においては、遊技機が設置される中段部と、該中段部の上方に形成される上段部と、前記中段部の下方に形成される下段部と、からなる遊技機島台の基体において、前記中段部は、前記下段部のカウンター上方に形成され前記遊技機が設置される遊技機設置スペースと、前記基体の幅方向において前記遊技機設置スペースの間に形成され関連機器が設置される機器設置スペースと、前記基体の長手方向で隣り合う前記遊技機設置スペースの間に形成される間仕切りスペースと、前記上段部を支持する中段支柱と、からなり、該中段支柱を前記間仕切りスペースに配置したことを特徴とする。このように構成することにより、従来の基体では機器設置スペースに配置していた中段支柱を機器設置スペースから無くすことができるため、この分のスペースを遊技機設置スペースにすることでき、基体の幅を広くすることなく幅の広い遊技機設置スペースを確保することができる。また、機器設置スペースが広くなるため、機器設置スペースに設置される関連機器の混雑を緩和することができる。また、従来まではデッドスペースであった間仕切りスペースに中段支柱を配置したため、空間を有効に活用することができる。

また、請求項２に係る発明においては、前記中段支柱は、その前面部分が前記基体の内部を閉塞する前面板として形成されていることを特徴とする。このように構成することにより、従来の基体では基体の内部を閉塞するために目隠し部材を設けていたが、本発明の中段支柱は、上段部を支持する部材としての役割だけでなく、前面板に目隠し部材の役割も兼用させることができるため、部材及び製造工程等の削減を図ることができ、これにより、製造コストの低減及び工期の短縮を図ることができる。
また、請求項３に係る発明においては、前記基体は、前記下段部がユニット形成された下段ユニットとして、前記上段部がユニット形成された上段ユニットとして、前記中段部が中段支柱としてそれぞれ分割して構成したことを特徴とする。このように構成することにより、例えば、基体の長手方向における間仕切りスペースの幅が広い基体にする場合には、その幅に応じた幅の広い前面板を形成する中段支柱を用いれば対応することができ、また、幅の狭い基体にする場合には、その幅に応じた幅の狭い前面板を形成する中段支柱を用いれば対応することができる。よって、本発明の基体は、上段ユニット及び下段ユニットを変更することなく、中段支柱を変更するだけで、幅の異なる間仕切りスペースが形成される基体に容易に変更することができる。

また、請求項４に係る発明においては、前記中段支柱は、少なくとも前記上段ユニットを支持し且つ該上段ユニット及び前記下段ユニットに連結される第１収納枠と、該第１収納枠に収納され且つ前記基体の幅方向において移動可能な前記前面板を有する第１可動部材と、から構成されていることを特徴とする。このように構成することにより、基体は、下段ユニット、第１収納枠及び上段ユニットを連結することで組み立てが完成し、この組み立てが完成した状態であっても第１可動部材が移動可能であるため、前面板の位置合わせを任意の作業工程で行うことができるようになり、作業効率の向上を図ることができる。例えば、前面板の位置が決まっていない場合、従来の基体である中段支柱の前面板が移動できないもの（第１収納枠と第１可動部材が一体で形成されているようなもの）では、基体を組み立てることができなかったが、本発明の基体であれば、とりあえず基体を組み立てておき、前面板の位置が決まったら前面板をその位置に移動させて対応することができる。また、遊技機が入れ換えられ、入れ換えられた遊技機の扉の開放時にその扉と前面板とが干渉するような場合でも、第１可動部材を移動させるだけで干渉を容易に回避することができ、様々な異なる遊技機を適正な状態で設置することができる。

また、請求項５に係る発明においては、前記中段支柱は、前記第１可動部材の移動を操作する操作部材を備え、該操作部材は、前記第１収納枠の背面側に備えられていることを特徴とする。このように構成することにより、操作部材を操作すれば容易に第１可動部材を適宜位置に移動させることができ、また、操作部材が第１収納枠の背面側、に備えられているため、背面に位置する遊技機側から操作すれば、操作部材を正面にした操作しやすい状態で操作することができる。

また、請求項６に係る発明においては、前記中段支柱は、少なくとも前記上段ユニットを支持し且つ該上段ユニット及び前記下段ユニットに連結される第２収納枠と、該第２収納枠に収納され且つ遊技媒体を貸し出す貸出機と、から構成され、該貸出機の前面が前記前面板として形成されていることを特徴とする。このように構成することにより、基体の設計時に、貸出機及び中段支柱の双方の寸法を考慮することなく、中段支柱の寸法のみを考慮すればよく、また、取付作業においても中段支柱の取り付けのみ考慮すれば必然的に貸出機の位置が決まるため、設計及び製造作業の効率化を図ることができる。また、貸出機が第２収納枠に収納されているため、衝撃等が加わった場合でも、その衝撃から貸出機を保護することができる。

また、請求項７に係る発明においては、前記貸出機は、基体の幅方向において移動可能に収納されていることを特徴とする。このように構成することにより、基体は、下段ユニット、第２収納枠及び上段ユニットを連結することで組み立てが完成し、この組み立てが完成した状態であっても貸出機が移動可能であるため、貸出機の前面板の位置合わせを任意の作業工程で行うことができるようになり、作業効率の向上を図ることができる。例えば、前面板の位置が決まっていない場合、従来の基体である中段支柱の前面板が移動できないものでは、基体を組み立てることができなかったが、本発明の基体であれば、とりあえず基体を組み立てておき、前面板の位置が決まったら前面板をその位置に移動させて対応することができる。また、遊技機が入れ換えられ、入れ換えられた遊技機の扉の開放時にその扉と前面板とが干渉するような場合でも、貸出機を移動させるだけで干渉を容易に回避することができ、様々な異なる遊技機を適正な状態で設置することができる。

また、請求項８に係る発明においては、前記中段支柱は、前記貸出機の移動を操作する操作部材を備え、該操作部材は、前記第２収納枠の背面側に備えられていることを特徴とする。このように構成することにより、操作部材を操作すれば容易に貸出機を適宜位置に移動させることができ、また、操作部材が第２収納枠の背面側、に備えられているため、背面に位置する遊技機側から操作すれば、操作部材を正面にした操作しやすい状態で操作することができる。

また、請求項９に係る発明においては、前記中段支柱は、前記第２収納枠に前記貸出機と共に収納され且つ基体の幅方向において移動可能な前記前面板を有する第２可動部材が備えられていることを特徴とする。このように構成することにより、基体の長手方向において貸出機の幅寸法が第２収納枠の内側幅寸法よりも小さく、その間に隙間が形成される場合であっても、その隙間を閉塞することができ、また、貸出機と同様にその前面板を遊技機の前面に合わせた適宜位置に移動させることができる。

更に、請求項１０に係る発明においては、前記第２可動部材は、前記基体の長手方向における前記前面板の幅寸法が変更可能に形成されていることを特徴とする。このように構成することにより、隙間の寸法に合わせて前面板の寸法を変更することができるため、第２収納枠に収納する貸出機が様々な幅寸法の異なる貸出機に変更された場合であっても１つの第２可動部材で対応することができる。

【発明の実施の形態】
以下、図面を参照して本発明の実施形態について説明する。図１は、遊技機島台の基体１全体を示す斜視図であり、図２は、遊技機島台の基体１を上段ユニット２，中段支柱１０及び下段ユニット３０に分解した状態を示す斜視図であり、図３は、上段ユニット２と中段支柱１０との接合部を示す断面図であり、図４は、下段ユニット３０の内部を示す断面図であり、図５は、遊技機島台の基体１の平面図である。

遊技機島台の基体１は、図１に示すように、ほぼ直方体状に枠組み構成され、その長手方向両面に図５に示す複数の遊技機としてのスロット機６０を背向列設するようになっている。基体１は、図２に示すように、基体１の上部を形成する上段部としての上段ユニット２と、基体１の中段を形成する中段部の一部としての中段支柱１０と、基体１の下部を形成する下段部としての下段ユニット３０と、から構成されている。

まず、基体１の上段部について説明すると、上段部はユニット形成された上段ユニット２として形成され、上段ユニット２は、木製の角材及び板材を組み合せることによりほぼ直方体状に形成されている。上段ユニット２の上面は、その中央部分が突出して段差状に形成され、段差のうち下の段差面がコインをいれるコイン箱（図示しない）を置くための箱置き棚３として形成されている。この箱置き棚３のスロット機６０前面側に位置する端部の下方には、遊技機島台を装飾するための幕板４が取り付けられ、幕板４の上端及び下端には、同じく装飾するためのコーナー飾り５が長手方向に亘って取り付けられている。尚、上段ユニット２は木製で形成されているものを示したが、金属製等で形成されていても良い。また、上段ユニット２は、スロット機６０にメダルを補給する補給機構が内設可能なものでも良い。

次に、基体１の中段部について説明すると、図２に示すように中段部は、後述する下段部のカウンター３５上方に形成されスロット機６０が設置される遊技機設置スペース７７と、同様にカウンター３５上方に形成され貸出機２２が設置される貸出機設置スペース８０と、基体１の幅方向において遊技機設置スペース７７の間に形成され紙幣搬送等の関連機器が設置される機器設置スペース７８と、基体１の長手方向で隣り合う遊技機設置スペース７７の間に形成される間仕切りスペース７９と、上段ユニット２を支持する中段支柱１０が形成されている。尚、図２には、遊技機設置スペース７７にスロット機６０、貸出機設置スペース８０にメダル貸機２２がそれぞれ設置された状態を示しているが、機器設置スペース７８に設置される関連機器については図示を省略している。

また、中段支柱１０は、図５に示すように機器設置スペース７８を挟んだ並列した状態で間仕切りスペース７９毎にそれぞれ設けられている。また、中段支柱１０の形状は、板金の周囲を同方向に折り曲げることにより、箱形状に形成されるものである。中段支柱１０の上部の折り曲げは、上段ユニット２を支持する面である上面板１１として、スロット機６０前面側に位置する折り曲げは、基体１の外観面である前面板１２として、下部の折り曲げは、中段支柱１０を下部ユニット３０に取り付けるための面である下面板１４として、スロット機６０背面側に位置する折り曲げは、強度を上げるための面（他の折り曲げ面も同様）である背面板９として形成されている。また、中段支柱１０の中央部分を形成する側面板１３には、中段支柱１０の重量を軽減するための逃げ穴２５が穿設されている。なお、上面板１１は、図３に示すように前面板１２側に位置する端部が切り欠かれている。これは基体１を組み立てた際に、コーナー飾り５の折り曲げ部分が挿入される切欠部１８として形成されている。これにより、上段ユニット２と中段支柱１０が接続された状態であっても、コーナー飾り５を後から取り付けることができるようになっている。尚、中段支柱１０は金属製で形成されているものを示したが、木製等で形成されていても良い。

このように中段部では、従来はデットスペースであった間仕切りスペース７９に中段支柱１０が設けられているため、デットスペースの有効活用が図られている。また、従来の基体と同じ幅寸法の基体１であっても遊技機設置スペース７７が広く確保されており、前後方向において幅の広いスロット機６０であっても設置することができるようになっている。また、機器設置スペース７８も広くなるため、関連機器の混雑も緩和することができるようになっている。

次に、基体１の下段部について説明すると、下段部はユニット形成された下段ユニット３０として形成され、下段ユニット３０は、上段ユニット２と同様に、木製の角材及び板材を組み合せることによりほぼ直方体状に形成されている。下段ユニット３０の上面には、スロット機６０やメダル貸機２２が載置されるカウンター３５が、スロット機６０前面側に向けて突出するように取り付けられている。このカウンター３５には、載置されたスロット機６０から排出されるメダルを下段ユニット３０内へ落下させるための回収穴５０が設置されるスロット機６０毎に穿設されている。また、カウンター３５の突出した端部には、コーナー飾り５１が取り付けられている。尚、下段ユニット３０は木製で形成されているものを示したが、金属製等で形成されていても良い。

また、カウンター３５のスロット機６０前面側に位置する端部の下方には、腰板３１が下段ユニット３０に対して着脱自在に取り付けられている。この腰板３１は、カウンター３５の裏面側に取り付けられた断面コ字状の上部レール３２の凹部と、上部レール３２と向かい合う断面コ字状の下部レール３３の凹部と、に挿入することにより、下段ユニット３０に対して取り付けられている。このように、腰板３１が下段ユニット３０に対して着脱自在に設けられているため、後述する下段ユニット３０に内設される搬送装置５２等のメンテナンスや清掃作業を容易に行うことができる。そして、腰板３１の下方であって、下段ユニット３０の最下部には、下段ユニット３０を固定するためのベース板３４が取り付けられている。ベース板３４には、アンカーボルト（図示しない）を挿通するための取付穴（図示しない）が穿設されており、この取付穴に挿通したアンカーボルトを床面に固定することにより、下段ユニット３０が床面に固定されることとなる。

次に、下段ユニット３０に内設される搬送装置５２について図４を参照して説明する。搬送装置５２は、主として、スロット機６０から排出されたメダルを受け入れる回収樋３７と、回収樋３７から送られてきたメダルを回収する回収レール４４と、回収レール４４に回収したメダルを搬送する搬送ベルト４６と、搬送ベルト４６を駆動するための駆動モータ４８と、搬送ベルト４６で回収したメダルを貯留する貯留タンク（図示しない）等から構成されている。

回収樋３７は、回収樋３７を下部ユニット３０に対して取り付けるための取付台３８と、コインを回収レール４４に向けて送り出すためのシュート部材３９とから構成されている。取付台３８は、板金により形成されるものであり、基体１の長手方向における位置はカウンター３５の裏面側であって回収穴５０の両側方に沿った位置に、その垂直方向における位置は位置決め片３６がカウンター３５の後面に当接する位置で合わせられ、カウンター３５の裏面及び後面に当接する部分をネジでカウンター３５の裏面に螺合することにより取り付けられている。取付台３８の腰板３１側の端面には、シュート部材３９を回動自在に軸支するための回動軸４０が突設され、この回動軸４０の斜め下方の位置には、シュート部材３９の下方方向への回動を規制するための規制ボス４１が突設されている。この規制ボス４１は、シュート部材３９の下方方向への回動を規制することで、カウンター３５への取付台３８の取付作業等を行い易くするためのものである。一方、シュート部材３９は、取付台３８と同様に板金によって断面がコ字状に形成されるもので、一端が回動軸４０に軸支されて取付台３８に対して回動するようになっている。

上記したシュート部材３９の下流端には、シュート部材３９の下面が当接してシュート部材３９の下り傾斜角度を決めると共に、シュート部材３９から送られてくるメダルを案内するための回収樋受け４２が臨んでいる。この回収樋受け４２は、板金により箱型形状に形成され、回収レール４４の上部に取り付けられるものである。この回収樋受け４２の下部には、回収レール４４への取り付けのために用いる係止片４３が下方に向けて突設されている。

上記した回収樋受け４２が取り付けられる回収レール４４は、上部が広く開放し、下部にかけてその開放幅が徐々に狭くなる断面形状を有しており、基体１の長手方向の長さとほぼ同じ長さに延設されるものである。回収レール４４上部の開放部分には、外側に向けて係止突起４５が突設されており、上記した回収樋受け４２の係止片４３をこの係止突起４５に係止させることにより、回収樋受け４２が回収レール４４に取り付けられる。

この回収レール４４の下部には、その長手方向全長に亘ってメダルを搬送するための搬送ベルト４６が架け渡されている。この搬送ベルト４６は、回収レール４４の下方に位置する駆動ローラ４７にも架け渡されており、この駆動ローラ４７が回転することにより、搬送ベルト４６が回収レール４４に沿って移動することとなる。駆動ローラ４７は、下段ユニット３０内に備えられる駆動モータ４８に、ギアヘッド４９を介して接続されており、ギアヘッド４９によって変速された駆動モータ４８の回転力によって回転するものである。

ここで、上記のように構成される搬送装置５２の作用について説明すると、まず、スロット機６０から排出されたメダルは、回収穴５０から回収樋３７のシュート部材３９上に落下し、シュート部材３９上を転動あるいは滑走した後、回収樋受け４２を介して回収レール４４に受け入れられる。回収レール４４に受け入れられたメダルは、搬送ベルト４６によって搬送され、貯留タンクに貯留されるようになっている。

以上、上段ユニット２，中段支柱１０，下段ユニット３０の構成について説明したが、次に、基体１の組み立てについて説明すると、まず、中段支柱１０を予め定められた間仕切りスペース７９に配置し、中段支柱１０の下面板１４に穿設された取付穴（図示しない）に挿通した取付ネジ（図示しない）を下段ユニット３０のカウンター３５に穿設された取付ネジ穴（図示しない）に螺着することにより、下段ユニット３０に対して中段支柱１０が取り付けられ、そして、中段支柱１０の上面板１１に穿設された取付穴（図示しない）に挿通した取付ネジ（図示しない）を上段ユニット２の所定位置に穿設された取付ネジ穴（図示しない）に螺着することにより、上段ユニット２が中段支柱１０に対して取り付けられることとなる。これにより、図１に示すような基体１が組み立てられることとなる。

そして、上記のように組み立てられた基体１の貸出機設置スペース８０にメダル貸機２２を、遊技機設置スペース７７にスロット機６０を、機器設置スペース７８に関連機器をそれぞれ設置することにより、図５に示すような遊技機島台が完成される。

上記した実施形態（第１実施形態）においては、中段支柱１０は、その前面板１２が固定されている一体的なものを示したが、このようなものに限らず、前面板１２がスロット機６０の奥行き方向（基体１の幅方向）で移動可能なものであってもよい。このような実施形態（第２実施形態）について、図６を参照して説明する。図６は、第１収納枠１５ａと第１可動部材１７ａから構成される中段支柱１０の斜視図であり、点線で描かれている第１可動部材１７ａは、実線で描かれている第１可動部材１７ａを移動させて第１収納枠１５ａから突出した状態を表している。

図６において、中段支柱１０は、上段ユニット２を支持し且つ上段ユニット２及び前記下段ユニット３０に連結される第１収納枠１５ａと、この第１収納枠１５ａに収納され且つスロット機６の奥行き方向で移動可能な前面板１２を有する第１可動部材１７ａと、から構成されている。
第１収納枠１５ａは、板金によって中空の箱型形状に形成され、その前面側が開放して挿入穴１６を形成している。また、第１収納枠１５ａの後面側下部には、第１収納枠１５ａに収納された第１可動部材１７ａを移動させるための操作部材１９が備えられている。この操作部材１９は、第１可動部材１７ａを移動させる際に回転させる操作ボルト２０と、第１可動部材１７ａの位置を固定するために操作ボルト２０の回転を規制するための固定ナット２１とから構成されている。なお、操作部材１９は、第１収納枠１５ａの後面側上部等の適宜位置であっても良く、又は複数備えてもよい。また、第１可動部材１７ａは、同じく板金によって箱型形状に形成されるものであり、その前面側が前面板１２として形成されると共に、操作部材１９と対応する位置には、操作ボルト２０の先端が接続されるようになっている。

しかして、第２実施形態に係る中段支柱１０は、第１収納枠１５ａの挿入穴１６に対して、第１可動部材１７ａを挿入穴１６から挿入した後、第１収納枠１５ａの背面側に取り付けた操作ボルト２０の先端を第１可動部材１７ａと接続することにより組み立てられる。このとき、操作ボルト２０には、固定ナット２１を予め螺着しておく。
