Abstract

<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rebroadcast program recording assignment method, a rebroadcast program recording assignment system and a program which employ a mobile information terminal such as a mobile phone whereby the mobile information terminal can simply designate recording of a broadcast program which has been overlooked. <P>SOLUTION: When a user uses a mobile phone 1 to select a 'rebroadcast program recording assignment' menu and thereafter selects an overlooked program on a assigned date, a broadcast program guide service server 31 searches a program guide data registered in a database 32 and transmits data denoting the presence of a rebroadcast program to the mobile phone 1 when the rebroadcast program exists. When the user makes video recording assignment operations, the broadcast program guide service server 31 transmits a rebroadcast recording reservation setting instruction to a the video recording apparatus 51 of the user of the mobile phone 1 via the Internet 6. 本発明は、自宅のビデオレコーダ（ＶＴＲ）等の録画装置に携帯電話等の携帯端末から再放送番組の録画指示を行うための再放送番組録画指定技術に関する。

【従来の技術】
家庭内に設置されているＶＴＲ等の録画機器に外部の携帯電話等を使用してテレビ番組やラジオ番組等の放送番組の録画予約をネットワークを利用して行うネットワーク録画予約技術がある（例えば、特許文献１、特許文献２参照）。

また、見逃した番組を視聴者の過去の視聴傾向から推測して当該使用者にその旨をメールや画面表示で知らせると共に、見逃した番組の再放送予定を知らせる放送サービス案内技術（例えば、特許文献３、特許文献４参照）がある。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
近年ＢＳ、ＣＳ放送やケーブルテレビ放送など、数多くの放送番組が放送されるようになり、番組によっては違うチャンネルを使って再放送や同時放送などを行っているので、視聴したい放送番組を見逃したり、録画し忘れたような場合でも新聞や雑誌等の番組欄や特許文献２、３のようにメールや画面に表示される放送番組表から再放送の放送時間やチャンネル等の情報を得ることができるので、特許文献１や特許文献２に開示のようなネットワーク録画予約技術を利用した録画予約サービスシステム等でネットワークを介して携帯電話から自宅のＶＴＲ等の録画装置に録画予約を行うことができるが、この場合、ユーザは新聞や案内雑誌に掲載されている放送番組表を見たり、メールや画面に表示される放送番組表を見てから見逃した番組（以下、見逃し番組）の再放送番組を自分で探し出して携帯電話から指示を行う必要があるので煩わしさや見落としが生ずるといった問題点があった。

本発明は、上記問題点の解決のためになされたものであり、携帯電話等の携帯情報端末から見逃した放送番組の録画指示を簡単に行い得る、携帯端末による再放送番組録画指定方法、再放送番組録画指定システム及びプログラムの提供を目的とする。

【課題を解決するための手段】
上記課題を解決するために、第１の発明の再放送番組録画指定方法は、携帯電話と、ユーザの録画装置と、サービス提供者のサーバとがネットワークを介して接続されるネットワークシステムにおいて、携帯電話を用いてユーザの録画装置に再放送番組を録画させるための再放送番組録画指定方法であって、携帯電話にネットワークを介してサーバから番組表を受信して表示し、携帯電話上でその番組表から放送済みの所定の番組を指定するとともに録画したい日時を指定すると、携帯電話から指定情報がサーバへ送られ、サーバは所定の番組の再放送番組をサーチし、サーバは携帯電話から指定された日時にユーザの録画装置に対し録画を指示する、ことを特徴とする。

また、第２の発明の再放送番組録画指定方法は、ネットワークを介して携帯端末とサービス提供者のサーバが接続されるネットワークシステムにおける携帯端末による再放送番組の録画指定方法であって、サーバから番組表データを受信し過去の放送番組表を表示するステップと、ユーザの操作を受けて表示された過去の放送番組表のなかから見逃し番組を指定するステップと、指定結果をサーバに送信するステップと、指定結果に基いてサーバが検索した再放送番組の検索結果を受信し該検索結果を表示するステップと、検索結果の表示内容が再放送番組の録画予約を促す内容の場合に、ユーザの指示に基づきユーザの録画装置に録画予約設定を行わせるための指示情報をサーバに送信するステップと、を備えたことを特徴とする。

また、第３の発明の再放送番組録画指定システムは、ネットワークを介して携帯端末とサービス提供者のサーバが接続されるネットワークシステムにおいて、携帯端末は、サーバから受信した過去の番組表データを基に見逃し番組を指定する見逃し番組指定手段と、見逃し番組指定手段によって指定された見逃し番組の番組識別情報をサーバに送信する番組識別情報送信手段と、サーバから受信した再放送番組検索結果を表示する再放送番組表示手段と、ユーザの指示に基づいて、再放送番組表示手段によって表示された再放送番組の録画指示を行い該録画指示をサーバに送信する録画指示送信手段と、を備え、サーバは、番組表データを格納したデータベースと、携帯端末から送信される見逃し番組の番組識別情報を基にデータベースを検索する再放送番組検索手段と、再放送番組検索手段による検索結果を見逃し番組の番組識別情報送信元の携帯端末に送信する検索結果送信手段と、携帯端末から録画指示情報を受信したとき、該携帯端末のユーザの録画装置に再放送番組情報を含む録画予約設定指示を送信する予約設定指示送信手段と、を備えた、ことを特徴とする。

【発明の実施の形態】
図１は本発明の再放送番組録画指定システムを適用可能なネットワーク構成の一実施例を示す図であり、再放送番組録画指定システム１００は登録ユーザの携帯端末１（実施例では携帯電話、以下、携帯電話１として説明するがこれに限定されない）と、携帯電話１とネットワーク６（実施例ではインターネット、以下、インターネット６として説明するがこれに限定されない）との間でデータの授受を仲介する通信事業者側装置２と、個人別放送番組表サービス等のサービスを行うサービス事業者（以下、放送番組表サービス事業者）によって運営されるサービスセンタ３と、テレビ放送局４（複数）と、録画装置５１等を備えた登録ユーザの家庭５と、携帯電話１、通信事業者側装置２及びサービスセンタ３と接続するネットワーク６とからなる。

通信事業者側装置２は基地局２１と移動通信制御局２２からなる。また、放送番組表サービス等のサービス事業者は、複数のテレビ放送局４から各チャンネル別の番組表データを得てサービスセンタ３のデータベース３２（図５）に定期的又は随時登録する。

登録ユーザは携帯電話１を起動して携帯電話１とサービスセンタ３の放送番組表サービスサーバ３１（図５）を通信事業者側装置２及びインターネット６を介して接続し、接続直後に表示される選択メニュー（図４（ａ））のうち、「３．再放送番組録画指示」メニューを選択した後、見逃し番組が放送された日付及びチャンネルを選択する。次に、携帯電話１に表示される指定日付、指定チャンネルの過去番組のうち見逃し番組を指定すると、携帯電話（再放送番組指定要求元の携帯電話）１は指定された見逃し番組の識別情報を通信事業者側装置２及びインターネット６を介して放送番組表サービスサーバ３１に送信する。なお、この指定の仕方は一例であり、ダイレクトに番組名を指定するようにしてもよい。

放送番組表サービスサーバ３１は携帯電話１から見逃し番組の識別情報を受信するとデータベース３２に登録されている番組表データをサーチし、再放送番組があるとその番組情報を再放送番組録画要求元の携帯電話１に送信する。

再放送番組データの検索方法としては、テレビ放送局の番組データベース若しくはテレビ放送局から提供を受けた番組データベースを検索する方法もあるし、番組情報自体に再放送日時情報が付加されていてもよい。ケーブルテレビなど１つの番組を何度も繰り返し放送する場合は、番組名と放送日時の対照表が用意してあることが多い。

再放送番組録画要求元の携帯電話１は受信した再放送番組情報を表示し、ユーザが録画指示操作を行うと録画指示を放送番組表サービスサーバ３１に送信する。放送番組表サービスサーバ３１は再放送番組録画要求元の携帯電話１のユーザの録画装置５１に再放送番組情報（再放送番組の放送時刻及びチャンネル情報等）を含む録画予約設定指示をインターネット６を介して送信する。再放送番組予約要求元の携帯電話１のユーザの録画装置５１は放送時刻が到来すると予約チャンネルのテレビ放送局４から放送される再放送番組を受信して装着された記録媒体に録画する。

放送番組表サービス事業者は、登録ユーザの利用頻度に応じて課金することができる。なお、ユーザに対する番組情報の提供とテレビ放送局（放送事業者）４への視聴データの提供の見返りにテレビ放送局４から収入を得ることもできる。この場合、ユーザに対する課金を行わないようにしてもよい。ユーザに対して課金を行う場合は、サーバ３１はユーザ別に利用状況をカウントしてデータベース３２の課金ファイル３２２に蓄積し、定期的に請求額の計算等を可能とするように構成する。

図２は携帯電話１の構成例を示すブロック図であり、図３は携帯電話１の概観図である。
携帯電話１はアンテナ１１と、アンテナ１１で受信した信号を復調及び増幅して音声入出力部１３に送出すると共に、音声入出力部１３から受け取った信号を変調して増幅しアンテナ１１を介して空中線に送出する送受信部１２と、送受信部１２から受け取った信号を音声に変換して増幅し外部に出力すると共に、外部から入力された音声を信号に変換して送受信部１２に送出する音声入出力部１３と、電話番号や文字等を入力するキー入力部１４と、メニューや放送番組表等を表示する表示部１５と、ＣＰＵ１６と、メモリ１７からなる。

なお、図３で符号１４１は図４に示す「戻る」に対応する機能ボタン、符号１４２はカーソル操作部であり、矢印方向の部分を押し下げることによりカーソルを矢印方向（上・下・左・右）に移動させることができる。また、符号１４３は確定ボタンであり、見逃し番組の再放送番組の「録画」ボタン４４１に対応する操作ボタンを兼ねている。

図４は携帯電話１での画面表示の一実施例を示す図であり、図４（ａ）はメニュー選択画面、図４（ｂ）は過去の放送番組表の日付等選択画面、図４（ｃ）は過去の見逃し番組の指定画面、図４（ｄ）は指定した見逃し番組の再放送番組があった場合に表示されるメッセージの一例、図４（ｄ’）は指定した見逃し番組の再放送番組がなかった場合に表示されるメッセージの一例を示す。

ユーザが携帯電話１を起動すると、図４（ａ）に示すようなメニュー選択画面４１が表示される。ユーザが「３．再放送番組録画指示」メニューを選択すると今日の日付けを１０月８日（火曜）とした場合、図４（ｂ）に示すような過去の放送番組表選択画面４２が表示され、放送番組表の日付選択欄４２１に一週間分（１０月７日（月曜）〜１０月１日（火曜））の日付が表示される。ユーザが携帯電話１のカーソル操作部１４２を操作して所望の日付（図示の例では１０月７日）を選択し、確定ボタン１４３（図３）を操作すると、カーソルがチャンネル選択欄４２２に移動する。

ユーザが、所望のチャンネルを選択すると、図４（ｃ）に示すように指定したチャンネルの過去の放送番組表（図示の例では１０月７日の４チャンネルの放送番組表４３）が表示されるので、ユーザはカーソル操作部１４２の↑↓方向を操作してカーソルを上下させて見逃し番組（この例では「特集番組１」）を選択し、確定ボタン１４３を操作する。なお、表示された過去の放送番組表に見逃し番組がない場合には「戻る」ボタンに対応する機能ボタン１４１（図３）を操作すると過去の放送番組表選択画面４２（図４（ｂ））に戻る。また、表示部１５に表示された放送番組表はスクロール可能であり、カーソル操作部１４２の↑↓方向の操作により、画面に現れていない部分の番組を表示することができる。

そして、ユーザが指定した見逃し番組の再放送番組がある場合は、図４（ｄ）に示すようなメッセージ及び再放送番組の放送予定日及びチャンネルが表示されるので、ユーザはその再放送番組の録画指示を行う場合は「録画」ボタン４４１に対応する確定ボタン１４３（図３）を操作し、録画指示をしない場合は「戻る」ボタンに対応する機能ボタン１４１を操作すると図４（ｃ）の放送番組表表示画面４３に戻る。また、見逃し番組の再放送番組がない場合は図４（ｄ’）に示すようなメッセージが表示され、ユーザが「戻る」ボタンに対応する機能ボタン１４１を操作すると図４（ｃ）の放送番組表表示画面４３に戻る。
なお、上記図４（ｂ）、（ｃ）に示した例では過去一週間分の放送番組表を表示可能としたが、過去一週間に限定されない。また、上記図４（ｂ）でチャンネル選択欄４２２を設けず、図４（ｃ）でチャンネル選択・指定欄を設けるようにし、ユーザがチャンネルを選択し、確定操作を行うと当該チャンネルの放送番組表が表示されるように構成してもよい。この場合のチャンネル選択・指定欄としてユーザのカーソル操作により自動的にチャンネルが順次表示され、所望のチャンネルが表示されたときに確定操作を行うとそのチャンネルが選択、指定されるようにしてもよい。

図５はサービスセンタ３に備えられている装置の一実施例の構成を示す図であり、サービスセンタ３にはデータベース３２を備えた放送番組表サービスサーバ３１が備えられている。

放送番組表サービスサーバ３１は、インターネット６及び通信事業者側装置２を介してユーザの携帯電話１とデータを授受する。携帯電話１と放送番組表サービスサーバ３１の接続が確立し、携帯電話１からユーザが「３．再放送番組録画指示」メニューを選択した旨のメニュー選択情報を受信すると、後述する端末側再放送番組録画指定用プログラム（図７参照）を情報送信元の携帯電話１にアップロードする。

また、放送番組表サービスサーバ３１は携帯電話１から過去の放送番組表選択情報を受信すると後述するサーバ側再放送番組録画指定用プログラム（図７参照）により、所定期間分（実施例では一週間）の過去の見逃し番組表データを情報送信元の携帯電話１に送信する。次に、見逃し番組指定情報を受信すると、データベース３２を検索して見逃し番組に対応する再放送番組があるか否かを調べ、検索結果に対応するメッセージデータ４４又は４５を情報送信元の携帯電話１に送信し、携帯電話１から予約確定情報を受信するとインターネット６を介して情報送信元の携帯電話１のユーザの家庭５の録画装置５１に番組情報を含む予約指示を送信して再放送番組の録画予約の設定を行わせる。

データベース３２は、氏名、携帯電話番号（又はメールアドレス）、録画装置のアドレス等登録ユーザの個人情報を含むレコードを複数記憶した個人情報ファイル３２１と、課金を行う場合にユーザ別にカウント数や明細等を蓄積する課金ファイル３２２と、チャンネル別、日付別に編集された番組表データ３２３と、過去（実施例では一週間分）の番組表データ３２４とを有している。なお、本実施例では番組表データ３２３と過去の番組表データ３２４とを別のファイルとしたが同一ファイルでもよい。

図６は再放送番組録画指定サービスにより再放送番組の録画予約を行う録画装置５１の構成例を示すブロック図である。
録画装置５１はインターネット６等の通信回線に公衆電話網（図示略）を介して接続しており、放送番組表サービスサーバ３１から再放送番組の放送時間及びチャンネル情報等の番組情報を含む予約指示情報を受信すると録画予約設定を行い、予約時間が到来すると予約設定された再放送番組を録画装置５１に内蔵又は装着されている記録媒体に録画する。

図６で、録画装置５１は放送信号を受信する放送受信部５１１と、放送受信部５１１で受信した放送信号をデコード処理して音声信号を得る音声処理部５１２と、放送受信部５１１で受信した放送信号をデコード処理して映像信号を得る映像処理部５１３と、音声処理部５１２及び映像処理部５１３で得た放送信号（＝音声信号＋映像信号）を記録する記録部５１４と、音声処理部５１２で得た音声信号を増幅して出力する音声出力部５１５と、映像処理部５１３で得た映像信号を出力する映像出力部５１６と、録画装置５１全体の動作を制御するＣＰＵ５１７と、ユーザが手動により予約設定等を行う場合に用いるキー入力５１８と、インターネット６を介して受信した放送番組表サービスサーバ３１から送信されたデータ（例えば、録画予約設定指示情報に含まれる再放送番組放送時間、チャンネル番号）を記憶するメモリ５１９と、メモリ５１９に記憶されているデータを管理し、再放送番組放送時間が到来するとＣＰＵ５１７を介してチャンネル番号を放送受信部５１１に与え再放送番組を受信させる予約処理部５２０と、インターネット６を介しての放送番組表サービスサーバ３１との通信接続及びデータの授受を行う通信処理部５２１とを備えている。

上記構成からなる録画装置５１は、放送番組表サービスサーバ３１からインターネット６を介して予約指示情報を受信すると、受信した予約指示情報をＣＰＵ５１７を介してメモリ５１９に記憶し、予約処理部５２０でＣＰＵ５１７を介して録画装置５１が内蔵する時計からの時刻情報とメモリ５１９に記憶されている各予約指示情報に含まれている再放送番組放送時間とを比較し、放送時間が到来した予約番組の放送チャンネルをＣＰＵ５１７を介して放送受信部５１１に送信し、放送受信部５１１が予約された再放送番組の放送信号を受信すると、音声処理部５１２及び映像処理部５１３で音声信号及び映像信号を得て、記録部５１４に装着されている記録媒体に記録（＝録画）する。つまり、ユーザが携帯電話１で見逃し番組を指定し、その再放送番組があればユーザの家庭内にある録画装置５１にその番組の録画予約設定を行わせることができる。録画装置５１と同様の構成はパーソナルコンピュータでも実現することができる。音声処理や映像処理は専用のハードウエアを用いても良いしソフトウエアでも実現することができる。画像の処理方式としてはＭＰＥＧ等が知られている。
なお、実施例では録画装置の設置場所を「家庭」としたが設置場所は家庭に限定されない、例えば、事務所等でもよい。

図７は再放送番組録画指定サービス時の携帯電話１及び放送番組表サービスサーバ３１の動作例を示すフローチャートであり、図７（ａ）は携帯電話側の動作例を示し、図７（ｂ）は放送番組表サービスサーバ側の動作を示す。また、図７（ａ）のステップＳ５〜Ｓ１４は端末側再放送番組録画指示用プログラムによる携帯電話１の動作に相当し、図７（ｂ）のステップＴ１〜Ｔ４の動作はサーバ側再放送番組録画指示用プログラムによる放送番組表サービスサーバ３１の動作に相当する。

携帯電話１と放送番組表サービスサーバ３１の接続が確立すると、携帯電話１の表示部１５に図４（ａ）に示すような選択メニュー４１が表示される（ステップＳ１）。

ユーザが選択メニュー４１の中の「３．再放送番組録画指示」メニューを選択するとステップＳ３に進む。また、「３．再放送番組録画指示」メニュー以外のメニューを選択した場合は選択されたメニューに対応する処理に進む（ステップＳ２）。

次に、ＣＰＵ１６はダウンロードした端末側再放送番組録画指示用プログラムに従って図４（ｂ）に示すような過去の放送番組表選択画面４２を表示部１５に表示し、見逃し番組が放送された日付及びチャンネルの選択を促す。例えば、今日の日付けを１０月８日（火曜）とした場合、放送番組表の日付選択欄４２１に過去一週間（１０月７日（月曜）〜１０月１日（火曜））の日付を表示すると共に、チャンネル選択欄４２２に放送チャンネルを表示して見逃し番組が放送された日付及びチャンネルの選択を促す（ステップＳ５）。

ユーザが、日付及びチャンネル（図４の例では１０月７日、４チャンネル）を選択して確定操作を行うと、ＣＰＵ１６は送受信部１２及びアンテナ１１を介してユーザの選択結果（日付及びチャンネル番号を含む過去の放送番組表選択情報）を放送番組表サービスサーバ３１宛て送信する（ステップＳ６）。

次に、放送番組表選択情報送信後に放送番組表サービスサーバ３１から送信されてくる過去の番組表データ（この例では一週間分）を受信すると、ＣＰＵ１６は受信した見逃し番組の番組表データを基に図４（ｃ）に示すようにユーザが選択・指定した放送番組表（図示の例では１０月７日の４チャンネルの放送番組表４３）を表示して、見逃し番組の指定を促す（ステップＳ７）。
