近年、オフィス等において、部屋のレイアウト変更に随時対応できるように、間仕切り体(パーテーション)を使用することが広く知られており(例えば、特許文献1を参照)、従来では、このような間仕切り体は、施工業者に依頼して天井面又は床面に設置、固定しておく必要があり、このため、間仕切り体による部屋のレイアウト変更、即ち区分け変更を簡単迅速には行い得ないという問題があった。

そこで、上記問題を解決するために、オフィス等において室内空間の幾通りかの区分けを予め想定して、この想定に基づいて天井面及び/又は床面に支持レールを設置、固定しておき、このレールに沿って間仕切り体を引き出して室内空間を区分けすることが既に提案されている。

しかしながら上記提案のものでは、部屋の天井面及び/又は床面に予め想定した部屋割りに基づいて、間仕切り体を固定するための支持レールを設置しておく必要があり、レイアウト変更に必ずしも柔軟に対応しているとは言えなかった。

また、部屋のレイアウト変更に自由に対応できるものとして、ローパーテションと呼ばれる全高の低い衝立式の間仕切り体も提案されているが、これは、簡易的に空間を仕切るものであって、天井面まで届かず、従って独立した空間に区分けすることができず、遮音性等に問題があった。

本発明は、上記に鑑み提案されたもので、独立した空間の間仕切りに当たり、施工業者に依頼することなく自由なレイアウト変更に対応でき、しかも間仕切りを必要としない場合には、間仕切り体を家具本体にコンパクトに格納できるようにした、間仕切り体付き家具を提供することを目的としている。

【課題を解決するための手段】
前記目的を達成するために、請求項1の発明は、床面に置かれる家具本体と、この家具本体に設けられる収納ボックスと、この収納ボックス内に該ボックスの開放上面を通して収納可能な間仕切り体と、この間仕切り体をそれが収納ボックス内に没入した収納位置と該ボックス上方に起立した使用位置との間で昇降自在に支持する昇降案内機構と、その間仕切り体及び収納ボックス間に設けられて該間仕切り体を随時に昇降操作し得る昇降操作機構とを備え、家具本体と、使用位置に保持した間仕切り体とにより、家具本体が置かれた部屋を複数の空間に仕切るようにしたことを特徴としている。

この請求項1の特徴によれば、家具に間仕切り体を一体化したことで、間仕切り体を天井面や床面に特別に固定しておかなくても、安定した独立空間の間仕切りが可能となって、室内空間の自由なレイアウト変更に高い自由度を以て対応できるようになり、またそのレイアウト変更に当たり、施工業者等による建物への間仕切り体の脱着工事は不要となる。しかも間仕切りを必要としない場合には、家具本体自体は家具として普通に使用できる上、間仕切り体を該家具本体にコンパクトに格納しておくことができるため、不用な間仕切り体の保管、管理が簡便であり、収納保管場所を特別に確保する必要もない。

また請求項2の発明は、床面に置かれる家具本体と、この家具本体に設けられる収納ボックスと、この収納ボックス内に該ボックスの開放上面を通して収納可能な間仕切り体と、この間仕切り体をそれが収納ボックス内に没入した収納位置と該ボックス上方に起立した使用位置との間で昇降自在に支持する昇降案内機構と、その間仕切り体及び収納ボックス間に設けられて該間仕切り体を随時に昇降操作し得る昇降操作機構と、間仕切り体の自由端に軸支されていて、該間仕切り体の延長上に位置する張出位置と家具本体の天板上に重合、載置し得る格納位置との間を回動可能な延長板と、その延長板を前記張出位置に固定可能なロック機構とを備え、家具本体と、使用位置に保持した間仕切り体と、張出位置にロックした延長板とにより、家具本体が置かれた部屋を仕切るようにしたことを特徴とする。この特徴によれば、請求項1の発明の前記作用効果に加えて、延長板を張出位置にロックすることで間仕切り体の有効長さを延長させることができるため、家具本体が低い場合や天井が高い場合でも、該延長板により間仕切り体の有効長さを天井まで届くよう十分に確保できて、独立した空間の間仕切りが可能となる。また間仕切りが不要な場合に延長板を間仕切り体に対し90度折り畳むようにして家具本体の天板上に重合、載置しておくことができるため、延長板が収納ボックス内に収納できなくても、該延長板を家具本体に無理なくコンパクトに格納可能となる。

先ず、図1において、オフィスにおける部屋の床面fには、本発明の間仕切り体付き家具としての比較的低い2つの第1オフィス家具C1,C1と、それよりもやや背の高い1つの第2オフィス家具C2と,更に背の高い第3オフィス家具C3とが横並びに設置されている。

次に図2〜図9を併せて参照して,第1オフィス家具C1の構造を説明する。第1オフィス家具C1は、前面を開放した函状の家具本体H1と,この家具本体H1の開放前面を横開き式に開閉可能な扉T1と、家具本体H1の背面に一体的に連設された収納ボックスB1と、この収納ボックスB1内に該ボックスB1の開放上面を通して収納可能な矩形平板状の間仕切り体P1と、この間仕切り体P1をそれが収納ボックスB1内に没入した収納位置と該ボックスB1上方に起立した使用位置との間で昇降自在に支持する昇降案内機構Gと、その間仕切り体P1及び収納ボックスB1間に設けられて該間仕切り体P1を随時に所望高さまで昇降操作し得る昇降操作機構Jと、間仕切り体P1の有効長さを延長し得るよう該間仕切り体P1の自由端にヒンジ機構1を介してピボット連結されていて、該間仕切り体P1の延長上に位置する張出位置と家具本体P1の天板2上に重合、載置し得る格納位置との間を回動可能な延長板Psと、その延長板Psを前記張出位置に随時に固定可能なロック機構Lとを備えている。

前記昇降案内機構Gは,収納ボックスB1の底部に一体的に立設されて該ボックスB1内をそれぞれ鉛直に延びる左右一対のガイドポスト3と,その両ガイドポスト3に上下摺動自在に嵌合し得るよう間仕切り体P1内部に形成された左右一対のガイド孔4とで構成される。

また前記昇降操作機構Jは,収納ボックスB1の底部に固設した下部レール5に左右方向に摺動可能に支持される左右一対の下部スライド体6と、間仕切り体P1の底部に固設した上部レール7に左右方向に摺動可能に支持される左右一対の上部スライド体8と、上,下部スライド体6,8に上,下端がそれぞれ枢支連結されたパンタグラフ式のリンク機構Lと,左右の下部スライド体6に螺合され一方向への回転により両下部スライド体6を互いに接近させ、また他方向への回転により両下部スライド体6を互いに離間させるネジ棒9と、家具本体H1内に臨む収納ボックスB1前壁に回動自在に貫通支持された回動操作軸10と、この回動操作軸10及びネジ棒9間を連動回転させる駆、被動ベベルギヤよりなるギヤ機構Beとを備える。

前記回動操作軸10には,家具本体H1内に臨む工具係合孔10hが形成されており、この係合孔10hに家具本体H1内より係合させたバーハンドル11を回転させることにより、回動操作軸10延いてはネジ棒9を回転操作することができ、該ネジ棒9の前記一方向への回転操作により両下部スライド体6を互いに接近させることで、リンク機構Lを起立展開させて間仕切り体P1を上昇操作でき,また前記他方向への回転により両下部スライド体6を互いに離間させることで、リンク機構Lを下方へ収縮するよう折り畳んで間仕切り体P1を下降操作できるようになっている。

また前記ロック機構Lは、図9に明確に示すように間仕切り体P1の左右両側面の上部に形成された第1凹所12に開口する第1ネジ孔12aと、前記延長板Psの左右両側面の下部に形成された第2凹所13に開口する第2ネジ孔13aと、該延長板Psが前記張出位置にある時に第1,第2凹所12、13に亘って嵌合可能なロックプレート14と、このロックプレート14を貫通し且つ前記第1,第2ネジ孔12a、13aに螺挿されて該プレート14を両凹所12、13に締結することで延長板Psを前記張出位置にロックし得るロックボルト15とより構成されている。

また第2家具C2は、図1、図10に示すように、家具本体H2の背がやや高い点や、延長板Psが省略される点だけが前記第1家具C1と異なるものであり、その他の構造は、第1家具C1と基本的に同一である。そしてこの第2家具C2においては、家具本体H2がやや高いことに関係して,収納ボックスB2の収納スペースが上下方向に大きくなっていて、そこに収納される間仕切り体P2が上下方向に大形に形成されており、このため、延長板Psを省略しても間仕切り体P2の自由端を天井面tまで届かせることが可能となっている。なお、この第2家具C2では、間仕切り体P2の自由端に帯状弾性クッション材Sが装着される。

而してこの第2家具C2においては、家具本体H2と、使用位置に保持した間仕切り体P1とにより、家具本体H1が置かれた部屋を仕切ることができる。

さらに第3家具C3は、図1、図11に示すように、家具本体H3の背が更に高い点や、間仕切り体P3が家具本体H3の頂部にヒンジ機構1を介してピボット連結され(従って延長板と収納ボックスと昇降案内機構と昇降操作機構とが省略され)る点、間仕切り体P3を張出位置に固定可能なロック機構Lが該間仕切り体P3と家具本体H3間に配設される点において、第1,第2家具C1,C2と相違しており、その他の構造は、第1,第2家具C1,C2と同一である。

そしてこの第3家具C3においては、間仕切り体P3は、鉛直な張出位置と水平な格納位置との間を回動可能であり、特に格納位置にあるときには家具本体H3の天板2上に重合、載置され、また前記張出位置にあるときにはその自由端が天井面tに達して家具本体H3との協働により、家具本体H3が置かれた部屋を仕切ることができる。尚、この第3家具C3の間仕切り体P3の自由端には帯状弾性クッション材Sが装着される。

次に前記実施例の作用を説明する。第1〜第3家具C1〜C3は、これらを単にオフィス家具として使用する場合には、例えば第1家具C1においては、間仕切り体P1を下限の収納位置に保持すると共に、延長板Psを、これが家具本体H1の天板上に重合載置した格納位置に保持しておく。また第2家具C2においては、間仕切り体P2を下限の収納位置に保持しておき、更に第3家具C3においては、間仕切り体P3を、これが家具本体H3の天板上に重合載置した格納位置に保持しておく。

また第1〜第3家具C1〜C3を利用して部屋の間仕切りを行う場合には、先ず、それら家具C1〜C3の少なくとも1つを間仕切りに必要な所望の位置までキャスタ21を利用して移動させる。そしてその移動させた家具が第1家具C1である場合には、延長板Psを間仕切り体P1の延長上に位置する張出位置まで回動させ、その張出位置に延長板Psをロック機構Rにより固定した上で、該延長板Psが天井面tに当接するまで間仕切り体P1を収納位置より上昇させる。これにより、家具本体H1と間仕切り体P1と延長板Psとが協働して、部屋の、家具本体H1が置かれた空間の前後を仕切ることができる。
