本発明は、綿棒で被検体を採取したのちにこれを収納して当該被検体を検査もしくは測定する等に用いるための検体用容器に関する。

従来、この種の検体用容器として、綿棒とキャップ部とを予め一体とした菌採取具を使用する形式のものは知られている(特許文献1参照)。

上記従来の技術において述べた形式の検体用容器は、これとセットで使用する菌採取具がキャップ部および綿棒の一体型であったために、▲1▼被検体採取操作が失敗した場合にはキャップ部および綿棒一体型の菌採取具全体を廃棄せざるを得ない、▲2▼軸棒の長い綿棒のものは、当該軸棒の長さに適合する深さの試験管形状容器本体を合成樹脂成形で量産することが技術的に困難であったために、実施されていない、▲3▼検体用容器は煮沸消毒等の加温消毒の場合に、往々に所謂キャップ部が外れ飛んでしまう事故を惹起する、というような問題点があった。

本発明は、上記諸問題点を解消するのに好適な新規の検体用容器を提供することを目的とするものである。

【課題を解決するための手段】
上記目的を達成するために本発明に係る検体用容器は、試験管形状とされた容器本体と、当該容器本体の開口に着脱可能に取付けられて容器本体の開口部を閉塞しうるキャップ部とを備え、上記キャップ部には、容器本体内に綿棒が挿入された場合に、当該綿棒の後端部を把持しうる把持部を備えたものである。

そして、上記把持部は、キャップ部の内面に設けられた開口縁に向うに従って径が大きくなる錐形状の案内凹部と、案内凹部の底面に設けられた綿棒の軸棒後端部をキャッチするキャッチ部と、これ等案内凹部、キャッチ部間に設けられ、案内凹部からキャッチ部に綿棒の軸棒後端部を滑り込ませる滑り面とを備えたものである。

【実施例】
図に示す実施例は、透明のポリプロピレン(P.P)を以て構成された丸底の試験管状容器本体1と、有色のポリプロピレン(P.P)を以て構成されたキャップ部2とからなり、このキャップ部2はこれ等容器本体1、キャップ部2に設けられた雌雄のネジ3、4により着脱できるように構成されているものである。雌雄のネジによらない構成でも実施することができる。

上記キャップ部2は、閉蓋時に容器本体1の底の方に向うに従って径が大きくなる錐形状の案内凹部5が内面に設けられ、この案内凹部5の底面に綿棒6の軸棒7の後端部をキャッチするキャッチ部8が設けられると共に、これ等案内凹部5、キャッチ部8間に案内凹部5からキャッチ部8へ綿棒6の軸棒7の後端部を滑り込ませる滑り面9が設けられているものである。

図に示すキャッチ部8は、複数本のリブ状部10を周面に設けることで構成されているが、他の構成、例えば図5に示すようにパイプ状部14にスリ割15を入れた構成もしくは図6に示すようにパイプ状部14のみの構成としたものでも任意に実施することが可能であり、これ等にも本発明は及ぶものである。

本発明に係る検体用容器は、通常、所定の長さの綿棒を付属品として用意された状態で使用される。若しくは図1に示すような、予め設けられた折線12のところで綿棒6の余剰端部13を折り除いて所定の長さとした状態で使用される形式のものが使用できる。後者は余剰端13がある分、深い場所の検体を採取できて便利である。

まず、キャップ部2を外して容器本体1内に試薬もしくは培地(いずれも図示せず)を入れる。この場合、前以て予め入れておいてもよい。次いで、綿棒6で被検体(図示せず)を採取し、この採取後に当該被検体付着綿棒6を容器本体1内に投入してからキャップ部2を閉める。このようにして当該被検体の採取を完了する。

そして、上記菌採取操作後のキャップ部2による容器本体1の閉塞操作のときには、上記の被検体付着綿棒6の外端が、案内凹部5の周面および滑り面9により案内され且つ雌雄ネジ3、4の螺入によってキャッチ部8に圧入される。この圧入によって、当該被検体付着綿棒6の外端部は、キャッチ部8内にキャッチ(保持)されて、キャップ部2と綿棒6が一体化の状態とされる。

すなわち、本発明は、キャップ部2の閉塞操作によってキャップ部2と綿棒6とが所謂自然に一体化の状態となるようにされたものであって、当該一体化状態は所謂自動的に確保できる便利さを備えたものである。

このように一体化状態とされたキャップ部2は、これが容器本体1から外された場合には所謂綿棒6付きの状態で、当該綿棒に手指等を触れずに移動したりでき、衛生的に安全である。

なお、キャップ部2付き容器本体1は、試薬入りの状態または培地入りの状態で提供できる。また規格の綿棒の同梱セットとしても提供できる。勿論、何も入れない、セットとしない状態でも提供することが可能である。また、キャップ部2および容器本体1は、上記ポリプロピレン(P.P)に代る合成樹脂材料で構成することができる。

【発明の効果】
請求項1または2に係る検体用容器によれば、綿棒による被検体採取操作が失敗した場合には当該綿棒だけを廃棄すればよく上記▲1▼の問題点を完全に解消できる。また上記したように途中で折って用いる綿棒とセットで使用するようにすることができるので、上記▲2▼の問題点を解消することができる。

さらに、請求項3に係る検体用容器は、所謂ネジ式であるので、煮沸消毒等の加温消毒の場合にキャップ部が外れ飛ぶ等の事故を防止でき、上記▲3▼の問題点を解消することができる。
