Abstract

<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pointer that enables a speaker to remote-control a computer when making a presentation as projecting computer images on a screen. <P>SOLUTION: The pointer 10 comprises key input devices for controlling software, and signal transmission parts for transmitting resultant input data by radio to an information processing device such as a computer as an information receiver, so that a speaker can remote-control the computer. A reception part is disposed at an upper portion of the personal computer body or at a tip end of a rod housing connected to the personal computer body to increase receiving sensitivity and thus enable control from a remoter position. The present invention relates to a pointer shape used when a computer image is projected on a screen to give a presentation.

A conventional pointer has a laser emitting section and its switch as shown in FIG.

However, according to the above prior art, when performing a presentation by projecting a computer image on a screen, a performer cannot leave the computer operated by the performer.
Therefore, an object of the present invention is to provide a pointer that enables a performer to remotely control a computer.

[Means for Solving the Problems]
In order to solve the above-mentioned problem, according to the first aspect of the present invention, a key input device for operating software and a signal for wirelessly transmitting input data to an information processing device such as a computer as an information receiving destination are provided. A transmitter is provided on the pointer so that the performer can remotely control the computer.

According to the second aspect of the present invention, the signal can be transmitted from the pointer from the laser emission direction and the four surfaces in contact with the laser, so that the performer can realize the wireless computer operation in a more natural movement.

FIG. 1 shows the appearance of a pointer with a key input device according to an embodiment of the present invention. The pointer includes a light emitting switch (11), a laser light emitting unit (12), a signal transmitting unit (13), and a key input device (14 to 17). Effects of the embodiment
According to this embodiment, it is possible to remotely control the computer by the function of the wireless key input device attached to the pointer. Further, the effect that the receiving unit is installed above enables operation from a more remote location. In addition, the effect of transmitting a signal from the laser emitting direction and the four surfaces in contact with the laser makes it possible to wirelessly operate the computer in a natural operation.

Claims (3)

A pointer comprising: a key input device; and a signal transmitting unit that wirelessly transmits the input data to an information processing device such as a computer as an information receiving destination. 2. The pointer according to claim 1, further comprising a signal transmitting unit on a surface in a laser emission direction and four surfaces in contact with the surface. A receiving device, comprising: a receiving unit at an upper part of a personal computer main body; or a receiving unit at a tip end of a rod-shaped housing connected to the personal computer main body.
