【0029】

TECHNICAL FIELD OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a lens adapter.
[0002]
[Prior art]
In recent years, the development of digital cameras that do not use a film at all has been remarkable, and the resolution has been improving year by year. Now, the resolution is approaching that of a film. A feature of the digital camera is that not only the captured image is stored as digital data in an electronic memory, but also a great degree of freedom is given to the shape of the camera at the design stage. That is, since the imaging device is very small, it is not necessary to dispose the lens at the center of the camera as in a camera using a film, for example. A camera using a film (hereinafter referred to as a film camera) does not become thinner than the thickness of the film, but a digital camera can be made extremely thin because the image sensor is thin and small.
[0003]
Digital cameras often use wide-angle lenses. The wide-angle lens is convenient for photographing landscapes and people, but is not suitable for copying documents or taking close-ups of insects and flowers. To meet these demands, film cameras often use conversion lenses that can be easily attached to standard lenses.
[0004]
A conversion lens is a lens that changes the focal length of the lens by combining it with a standard lens that is standard equipment on the camera. Usually, a screw provided on the lens frame of the conversion lens and a screw provided on the lens frame of the standard lens are screwed. A method of fixing the conversion lens to a standard lens by combining them is adopted.
[0005]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
On the other hand, many lenses used in digital cameras are small, and the lens frame is often not threaded. For this reason, a conversion lens adapter for a normal film camera could not be used. There has been a demand for a small, lightweight, and easily mountable lens adapter that is compatible with digital cameras. A digital camera requires a small and lightweight main body, and a small and lightweight lens adapter is required.
A first object of the present invention is to provide a lens adapter suitable for a digital camera.
[0007]
A second object of the present invention is to provide a lens adapter for a digital camera which is small, lightweight and easy to mount.
[0008]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
The present invention fits the conversion lens and the outer surface or the inner surface of the lens frame of the standard lens, contacts the surface of the lens frame of the standard lens, and contacts the rear surface of the camera with the adapter lens frame holding the conversion lens. The above object has been attained by inventing a lens adapter having a holding means for holding the adapter lens frame by press contact and a coupling means for connecting the adapter lens frame and the holding means.
[0009]
BEST MODE FOR CARRYING OUT THE INVENTION
An embodiment of the present invention is to fit the conversion lens and the outer or inner surface of the lens frame of the standard lens, to be in close contact with the surface of the lens frame of the standard lens, and to mount the adapter lens frame and the camera for holding the conversion lens. The present invention relates to a lens adapter having a holding means for contacting the back surface and holding the adapter lens frame by pressing and contacting, and a connecting means for connecting the adapter lens frame and the holding means.
[0010]
There are many different types of digital cameras on the market, but as already mentioned, digital cameras can be made very thin and special buttons on the back of the camera that correspond to the lens position. Many cameras have a flat surface without switches, switches or monitors. For example, Casio Corporation's EXILIM (trade name) series is a typical example.
[0011]
The lens adapter of the present invention has a U-shape as a whole, and has a structure in which a digital camera is sandwiched in the U-shaped recess. The two opposite sides of the U-shape have an adapter lens frame whose front surface closely fits with the lens frame of the standard lens, and the rear surface has holding means for holding the adapter lens in close contact with the digital camera. I have. The U-shaped frame is coupling means for coupling the adapter lens frame and the holding means.
[0012]
The contact position of the holding means on the rear surface of the camera is preferably a position corresponding to the rear position of the lens, but need not be.
[0013]
【Example】
Hereinafter, the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings. FIG. 1 shows an embodiment of the lens adapter of the present invention. It is shown in cross section. In the figure, reference numeral 1 denotes a digital camera, 1-1 denotes the back of the digital camera, 2 denotes a standard lens lens frame, 3 denotes an adapter lens lens frame, and 3-1 denotes an adapter lens lens frame which is in close contact with the surface of the standard lens lens frame. Surface, 3-2 is the surface of the adapter lens frame which fits with the outer surface of the lens frame of the standard lens, 4 is the conversion lens, and 5 is the U-shaped frame which connects the adapter lens frame and the holding means. Means, 6 is an elastic body which is one of the components of the holding means, 7 is a screw which is one of the components of the holding means, and 8 is one which is one of the components of the holding means. This is a knob for rotating.
[0014]
The conversion lens 4 is held by the adapter lens lens frame 3, and the adapter lens lens frame is held by opposing portions of the elastic body of the holding means.
[0015]
The elastic body 6 is connected to the screw 7, and the distance between the elastic body 6 and the adapter lens frame 3 can be changed by the rotation of the screw 7.
[0016]
To attach this lens adapter to the digital camera, first, rotate the knob 8 to widen the distance between the lens frame 3 of the adapter lens and the elastic body 6, and then replace the lens frame 3 of the adapter lens with the lens frame of the standard lens. 2 while being fitted with the outer surface of the standard lens 2.
[0017]
By this operation, the digital camera 1 is in a state of being sandwiched between the adapter lens lens frame 3 and the elastic body 6. Next, the knob 8 is rotated to reduce the distance between the adapter lens lens frame 3 and the elastic body 6 so that the elastic body is pressed and adhered to the back of the digital camera.
[0018]
The lens frame, holding means, and connecting means of the adapter lens can be made of a material such as metal or plastic depending on the purpose.
[0019]
FIG. 2 shows another embodiment of the present invention. In the drawing, reference numeral 9 denotes a coil spring which is one of the components of the holding means.
[0020]
In order to mount the lens adapter of another embodiment on the digital camera, the knob 8 is moved against the spring to increase the distance between the lens frame 3 and the elastic body 6 of the adapter lens. The frame 3 is brought into close contact with the surface of the lens frame 2 of the standard lens while fitting the frame 3 with the outer surface of the lens frame 2 of the standard lens.
[0021]
By this operation, the digital camera 1 is in a state of being sandwiched between the adapter lens lens frame 3 and the elastic body 6. Next, when the knob 8 is released, the elastic body returns to the original position by the elasticity of the spring, and the lens adapter is held in close contact with the digital camera.
[0022]
FIG. 3 shows still another embodiment of the present invention. In the figure, reference numeral 10 denotes a movable plate which is one of the components of the holding means, 11 denotes a rotating shaft of the movable plate 10, and 12 denotes a leaf spring which is one of the components of the holding means. The elastic body 6 is attached to the movable plate 10, and the movable plate 10 is rotatable around the rotation axis 11 relative to one end of the frame 5. The leaf spring 12 works so that the elastic body 6 attached to the movable plate 10 always holds the lens adapter of the present invention on the back surface of the digital camera.
[0023]
In order to mount the lens adapter of still another embodiment on a digital camera, the movable plate is rotated against a spring to increase the distance between the lens frame 3 and the elastic body 6 of the adapter lens. The lens frame 3 is brought into close contact with the surface of the lens frame 2 of the standard lens while fitting the lens frame 3 with the outer surface of the lens frame 2 of the standard lens.
[0024]
By this operation, the digital camera 1 is in a state of being sandwiched between the adapter lens lens frame 3 and the elastic body 6. Next, when the movable plate is released, the elastic body returns to its original position by the elasticity of the spring, and the lens adapter is held in close contact with the digital camera.
[0025]
FIG. 4 shows a fourth embodiment of the present invention. In the figure, reference numeral 13 denotes a large leaf spring. One end of the large leaf spring 13 is fixed to one end of the frame 5, and an intermediate portion thereof is in close contact with the back of the digital camera.
[0026]
To attach the lens adapter of the fourth embodiment to a digital camera, the distance between the lens frame 3 of the adapter lens and the leaf spring is widened by reversing the leaf spring and the lens frame of the adapter lens is expanded. 3 is brought into close contact with the surface of the lens frame 2 of the standard lens while fitting 3 with the outer surface of the lens frame 2 of the standard lens.
[0027]
By this operation, the digital camera 1 is in a state of being sandwiched between the adapter lens lens frame 3 and the elastic body 6. Next, when the leaf spring is released, the leaf spring returns to its original position due to the elasticity of the spring, and the lens adapter is held in close contact with the digital camera.
[0028]
Of course, it is needless to say that another elastic body may be attached to the leaf spring and the back surface of the digital camera may be pressed and held by the other elastic body.
[0029]
