本発明は、ドア錠のサムターンの保護装置に関し、内側及び外側筒状カバーを同心的かつ摺動可能に嵌合することにより、ドア外から針金等を差し込んでサムターンを操作することを防止し得るドア錠のサムターンの保護装置を提供することを目的とする。

【従来の技術】
ドア錠のサムターンの保護装置は、泥棒等がドア外側から針金等の工具を利用してドア内側即ち室内側のサムターン・ロックつまみを回して不法侵入することを防止する防犯を目的とした装置である。

従来のドア錠のサムターンの保護装置は、サムターンの周囲を被うべく、単一部材からなるサムターンカバーをサムターンに取り付けたものである(例えば、非特許文献1参照)。

また、ピン留めを有するキャップをサムターンのロックつまみに係合させ、伸縮可能なピンを有する器具をドアに固着させる装置がある。この装置によれば、器具のピンを手動又は遠隔操作により伸長させてキャップのピン留めに嵌合させ、針金等の工具によってサムターンが回転することを阻止する(例えば、非特許文献2参照)。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
しかし、前述した単一部材からなるサムターンカバーは、室内から家人が解錠できなくなることを回避するために、カバーの軸方向高さを余り大きくできず、及び開口部の大きさを余り小さくできず、したがって、泥棒がドア外側からドア内側へ針金を差し込んでサムターンを回転させることが可能であり、十分な防犯効果を得られない問題点がある。

また、前述したピン留めを有するキャップ及びピンを有する器具からなる装置は、防犯効果は高いが、機構が複雑であるためコストが高くつく問題点がある。

【課題を解決するための手段】
上記問題点を解決するための本発明のドア錠のサムターンの保護装置は、少なくとも1以上の第一係合部を有し、少なくともドアに対して相対的に軸方向に所定位置を保つようサムターンに嵌合された内側筒状カバーと、少なくとも1以上の第二係合部を有し、該内側筒状カバーに対して同心的にかつ摺動可能に嵌合される外側筒状カバーとを具備し、該外側筒状カバーを引出し摺動させたとき、該第一係合部と該第二係合部とが係合することにより、該外側筒状カバーが該内側筒状カバーに対して引出し位置に係止され、該外側筒状カバーのドアとは反対側端部の第一の開口部とロックつまみとの間に比較的大きい軸方向離間距離が設定される、ことを特徴とする。

【発明の実施の形態】
本発明に係るドア錠のサムターンの保護装置の第一の実施例を図1乃至図15を使用して説明する。

図1中、ドア錠のサムターンの保護装置10は、大略、内側筒状カバー8及び外側筒状カバー9よりなり、内側筒状カバー8は少なくともドア1に対して相対的に内側筒状カバー8の軸方向に所定位置を保つようサムターン7Aに嵌合され、外側筒状カバー9は内側筒状カバー8に対して同心的にかつ摺動可能に嵌合されたものである。以下、その詳細について、説明する。

図1に示したサムターン7Aは、ドア1に取り付けられた一の錠2aをドア内側即ち室内から施錠又は解錠する際に使用する。また、ドア1は、ドアハンドル3を操作することにより、他の錠2bを解錠することにより開けられる。サムターン7Aは、サムターン基部5とその基部に支承されたロックつまみ4とを有する。なお、サムターン7Aは、必要に応じて、ドア厚さ調整用であって、軸方向に距離Eだけ摺動可能でかつドア方向へバネ15(図3参照)により付勢された摺動可能部材6を有する。

内側筒状カバー8は、図1に示す如く、周方向略2等分に分割された略同一形状の2つの分割部材8A,8Bからなる。これらの一対の半円筒状分割部材は、夫々に設けられた係合ツメ8iと係合ツメ受け8jとを係合させることにより組立形成される。なお、内側筒状カバー8は、周方向略等分に分割された2以上の分割部材として組立形成されてもよい。

ドア側係合溝部9h及び係合溝部9iは、被押圧アーム8eが突部8fを有する場合は、突部8fと係合すべく溝部であることが好ましい。ドア側係合溝部9hの傾斜は、比較的大きな傾斜角度で設けられ、係合溝部9iの溝部の傾斜は、比較的小さな傾斜角度で設けられることが好ましい。なお、ドア側係合溝部9h及び9iは、被押圧アーム8eが突部8fに代えて凹部である場合は、その凹部と係合すべく凸部であることが好ましい。

図1に示す如く、サムターン7Aの摺動可能部材6を軸方向にドアから離隔すべく距離Eだけバネに抗してドアから離れる方向へ摺動させて保持する。

次に、内側筒状カバー8の一対の分割部材8A,8Bは、各内周突出部8kがドア1と摺動可能部材6との間に挿入されつつ、サムターン7Aの外周に嵌合されて、組み合わされて内側筒状カバー8が形成される。摺動可能部材6は、バネ15によりドア1方向へ摺動復帰して内側筒状カバー8の内方突出部8kに圧接するので、内周突出部8kはドア1及び摺動可能部材6の間に押圧的に保持され、ドアに対して相対的に軸方向に所定位置を保つ。なお、図5に示す如く、サムターン7Bが摺動可能部材6を有さないタイプのものである場合は、内側筒状カバー8の一対の分割部材8A,8Bは、各内周突出部8kがドア1とサムターン基部5との間に挟み込まれる。この場合、サムターン基部5はネジ14によりドア1に取り付けられる。

次に、外側筒状カバー9を内側筒状カバー8に対して同心的にかつ摺動可能に、しかもドア1方向へ押し込んだ状態で嵌合させる。
外側筒状カバー9を内側筒状カバー8に対してドアへ近接する方向へ摺動すると、図3に示す如く、内側筒状カバー8の突部8fが外側筒状カバー9のドアから離間した係合溝部9iに係合し、外側筒状カバー9は内側筒状カバー8に対して押込み位置(図3参照)に係止される。なお、内側筒状カバー8が係合溝部を有する場合は、外側筒状カバー9のドア側係合溝部9hと内側筒状カバー8の係合溝部とが係合し、外側筒状カバー9は押込み位置に係止される。また、外側筒状カバー9が押込み位置に係止される場合は、図3及び図7に示す如く、ロックつまみ4が外側筒状カバー9の第一中央開口部9mから突出しているので、施錠又は解錠操作が容易に行える。しかし、その操作を妨げない程度であれば、ロックつまみ4が第一中央開口部9mから突出しなくてもよい(図5参照)。なお、外側筒状カバー9のフラット部9kは内側筒状カバー8の外周フラット部8dに係合し、外側筒状カバー9が内側筒状カバー8に対して自由に回転することを防止する。

次に、外側筒状カバー9を内側筒状カバー8に対してドアから離れる方向へ引出し摺動させたとき、内側筒状カバー8の突部8fが外側筒状カバー9のドアから離間した係合溝部9iとの係合(図3参照)を解除されて、ドア側係合溝部9hに切換係合し、外側筒状カバー9は内側筒状カバー8に対して引出し位置(図4参照)に係止される。なお、外側筒状カバー9を引き出して突部8f及びドアから離れた係合溝部9iの係合が解除されるとき、係合溝部9iの溝部の傾斜角度が比較的小さいので上記係合解除動作は比較的小さな力により容易に行われる。また、外側筒状カバー9を前記引き出し位置から更に引き出し摺動させたとしても、外側筒状カバー9の押圧アーム9dの押圧突部9eが内側筒状カバー8のリブ8hに当接するため、外側筒状カバー9が内側筒状カバー8から容易に脱落することはない。

外側筒状カバー9が引出し位置に係止されたときは、図4及び図6に示す如く、外側筒状カバー9の第一中央開口部9mとロックつまみ4との間に比較的大きい軸方向離間距離lが設定されるため、針金等の工具を使用してロックつまみ4を回転させて容易に解錠できなくなり、防犯上の効果を上げることが可能である。なお、家人が室内にいるときは、外側筒状カバー9は押込み位置(図3参照)に係止されてもよい。

外側筒状カバー9が引出し位置(図4参照)のあるときは、ドア側係合溝部9hの溝部の傾斜角度が大きく設けられているので、外側筒状カバー9を内側筒状カバー8に対して図4に示す位置から押し込んだだけでは、ドア側係合溝部9h及び突部8fの係合は解除されず、下記の所定操作をしなければ、外側筒状カバー9は内側筒状カバー8に対して軸方向近接するよう摺動させることはできない。

一対の押圧アーム9dが夫々、例えば親指、人差し指により挟持されて半径内方へ同時に押圧変形される。すると、外側筒状カバー9の押圧アーム9dの押圧突部9eが、内側筒状カバー8の被押圧アーム8eの所定部分に当接して、被押圧アーム8eを略半径方向内方に弾性変形させる。これにより被押圧アーム8eの突部8f及びドア側係合溝部9hの係合が解除され、この状態のまま外側筒状カバー9を押し込む。すると、外側筒状カバー9は図4の状態から図3の位置まで復帰摺動され、被押圧アーム8eの突部8fとドアから離間した係合溝部9iとが係合されて押込み位置へ至る。したがって、泥棒が、室外から針金等の工具を利用して外側筒状カバー9を押し込んだだけでは外側筒状カバー9を押込み摺動させることはできず、高い防犯効果が得られる。勿論、外側筒状カバー9及び内側筒状カバー8を螺合させて外側筒状カバー9を引出し位置に係止させる等、外側筒状カバー9を引出し位置に係止させる手段として様々なバリエーションが考えられる。

なお、ドア錠のサムターンの保護装置10は、外側筒状カバー9の第一中央開口部9mの内径がロックつまみ4の軸直交方向長さよりも著しく大きいことに起因してドア外から差し込んだ針金によりロックつまみ4を操作し得る場合がある。したがって、この可能性をなくすため、、リング状内径調整具11(図1参照)を更に有してもよい。これにより、リング状内径調整具11の内径は第一中央開口部9mの内径より小さいので、上記針金による操作を不可能とし得る。
