【従来の技術】
この種の反転装置には、実公平4−47136号に開示されたものがあり、その装置では図8(a)に示すように、回転台の外周に沿って張設したチェーンVを空回り軸X、Xを用いて駆動軸Yに掛回する方法が取られていた。しかしこの方法では、駆動軸Yに高減速比のモーター軸を接続するには、スペース上の問題があり、前記考案のように側方配置とするとモーター軸が1個増すことになる。

これに対して、図8(b)に示すように、空回り軸Xを用いて側方へチェーンVを引き出した箇所に駆動軸Zを掛回した場合には前記図8(a)のような問題は解決されると見て良いが、チェーンVの接近する箇所Wが生じたり、それを避けるために駆動軸Zを側方へ配置することによって、駆動部(モータ等)が外側に張り出すという問題を生ずる。

本発明は前記の点に着目してなされたものであり、その課題は、チェーン駆動機構の高さや幅等の外寸を拡大せずに確実に駆動力を伝達することができるようにすることである。

【課題を解決するための手段】
前記の課題を解決するために本発明は、チェーン並びにチェーンを掛回したチェーンホイールを有する回転駆動部を具備した反転装置において、チェーンにはリンクチェーンを用いるとともに、リンクチェーンの途中を交叉させてループ状にした交叉ループ部を設け、交叉部にてリンクチェーンが接触しないように駆動用チェーンホイールと従動用チェーンホイールとを軸方向にずらせて配置した構成を有するものとする、という手段を講じたものである。

反転装置は、回転面となる円筒状の外周部を有し、物品の載置部を外周よりも内側に有している回転台を具備しており、この回転台は、回転面に接する支持ロールによって回転可能に支えられている。チェーンはそのような回転台の円周状の外周部に沿って張られるものとする。この場合、図7(a)に示すように駆動軸1個で回転往復運動をさせることは理想であるが、P点での交叉接触を避ける点に無理があり、この方法は中々困難である。

そこで本発明では、図7(b)に示すように駆動軸D1個に空回り軸F1個を組み合わせることによって、チェーンの交叉接触を避ける技術を開発し、目的を達成することができた。本発明では、従来用いられて来たローラーチェーンを廃してリンクチェーン(link chain)を適用することを一つの条件とする。というのはリンクチェーンがチェーンの張設方向の傾斜に対して融通性を持っており、傾斜しても動力伝達に問題がなく、異音等も発生し難い上、強度も問題がないからであり、価格はより低廉といって良い。

このようなリンクチェーンの途中を交叉させてループ状にした交叉ループ部を設け、その交叉点にてリンクチェーンが接触しないようにするため、駆動用チェーンホイールと従動用チェーンホイールとを軸方向にずらせて配置し、駆動機構を構成する。この場合、一方のチェーンホイールを回転台の真下に回転面になるべく近付けて配置するとともに、他方のチェーンホイールを回転台下部で側方へ出ない位置に配置する。そこで他方のチェーンホイールを一方のチェーンホイールより上位に配置することが可能となるので、非常にコンパクトに構成することができる。

本発明に用いることができるリンクチェーンは、例えばチェーンブロック類に使用されるリンクチェーンが適しており、JIS B8816に規定されているチェーンスリング用チェーンが最適である。このリンクチェーンは、リンクチェーン用鎖車いわゆるチェーンホイールとともに使用される。

【発明の実施の形態】
以下、本発明の反転装置における駆動機構を図示の例を参照して説明する。図1は重量物を取り扱う反転装置10の正面図であり、円形の外周部を回転面11とし、外周部よりも内側に物品の載置部12a、12bを有する回転台13と、回転面11に接する支持ロール14、14によって回転台13を回転可能に支える基台15を有する。回転面11と物品の載置部12a、12bとが交わる回転面の両端には停止部16a、16bがあり、基台15に設けられている受け17a、17bに夫々が当たる範囲、図例では90度の回転角だけ回転可能とされ、例えば一方の載置部12aに載せた物品を回転台13の回転により他方の載置部12bに移して向きを変更することができる。

回転駆動部20は、円形の外周部に沿って張られる1条のリンクチェーン21と、リンクチェーン21を掛回した2個のチェーンホイール23、24を有し、リンクチェーン21は、回転台13の下部にて途中を交叉させループ状にした交叉ループ部22を有していて、このループ部内に2個のチェーンホイール23、24を配置する構成を有している。一方の従動用チェーンホイール23は回転台13の中央に配置され、他方の駆動用チェーンホイール24は回転台13の下部で、従動用チェーンホイール23の側方上部、かつ従動用チェーンホイール23とは軸方向にずれた位置に配置され、交叉部25にてリンクチェーン21が接触しないように構成されている。図2、図3及び図4参照。

図5にはチェーンホイール23、24とリンクチェーン21が示されている。リンクチェーン21はJISB8816に規定されているものである。チェーンホイールは従動用も駆動用もリンクチェーン21と噛み合う歯部については、同様の形状及び構造を有している。その形態は図5及び図6に示されており、図6(a)は駆動用、図6(b)は従動用のチェーンホイールで、夫々横のリンクチェーン21Hを収める浅凹部26と縦のチェーンリンク21Vを収める深凹部27とが設けられている。28はフランジ、29はキー溝を示す。駆動用チェーンホイール24は、動力装置である減速機30の出力軸に結合されている。

本発明は以上の如く構成されかつ作用するものであるから、チェーン駆動機構の高さや幅受の外寸を大型化することなく確実に伝達することができるものであり、特に1本のリンクチェーンを使用して交叉ループ部を作り、そこに駆動用チェーンホイールと従動用チェーンホイール各1個で構成されるため簡潔であり、在来のローラーチェーンでは実現できなかった構成を具体化することができるという効果を奏する。
