上記の目的を達成するために、本発明は下記の構成を有する。
(1)下記一般式(a1)で表されるエポキシシランに、アクリル酸またはメタクリル酸を反応させて下記一般式(a)または(a’)で表されるシリコーンモノマーを合成する反応を、触媒を該エポキシシランに対して25mol%以上、反応系において該触媒が溶解しうる量以下加えて行うことを特徴とするシリコーンモノマー製造方法。

触媒およびその添加量を表1のようにかえて、上記実施例1と同様の方法で実験を行った。GC測定を行ったところ、表1のような結果が得られた。
