また、金属クリップの加工方法についても、その形状の複雑さから加工が困難であり、それ故に、コスト高にもなってしまっていた。

前記の係合の状態を解除するためには、操作部材6を再び押圧すると、係合部6bが前方に移動し、前記第2の乗り上げ傾斜面6iがクリップ玉7cを押し上げるので、係合部6bとクリップ玉7cとの係合解除がなされる。そして、係合部6bの上面部6hがクリップ玉7cの図中下面に至る位置になると、クリップ7の横方向弾性によりクリップ玉7cが係合部6bの上面部6hを横方向に滑動せしめられて図中奥側に復帰する(斜視図No.6参照)。
ここで操作部材6の押圧を解除すると、係合部6bはクリップ玉7cの下方を移動して初期状態に復帰する(斜視図No.7参照)。
尚、本発明では、リフィール5が前軸2の先端より露出して係合状態のまま筆記具をポケット等に差し込もうとすれば、クリップ7のクリップ玉7cが外装体1外周面より持ち上げられる。この動作によって係合部6bとクリップ玉7cの係合が外され、初期状態に復帰せしめられるとともに、リフィール5も前軸2内に没入する。

本発明は、クリップを有する外装体に対して相対的に移動する操作部材を配置し、その操作部材と連動し前記外装体から出没するリフィール体を有してなる出没式筆記具であって、そのリフィールの突出状態の維持・解除を前記操作部材に対するクリップの少なくとも水平方向の移動によってなすと共に、そのクリップを操作部材に対して前記移動方向とは反対側の方向に偏心させたので、出没の係止・解除のための機構が簡単で、部品点数少なく、組立も簡便で低コストになるばかりでなく、出没の係止・解除のための機構が軸筒内後部に組み込まれていない分だけ軸筒長さを短くできるという利点を有すると共に、外観性も向上し、クリップの加工方法としても容易で安価なものであり、筆記使用後には、不用意にノック部材が押圧されて衣服を汚してしまうという恐れもないものである。
