Abstract
Description
【0001】

【0063】
(6)X線CT装置11に代えて、CT(コンピュータ断層撮影)装置の一種であるMRI(Magnetic Resornance Imaging)装置を用いてもよい。
【0064】
【0066】

TECHNICAL FIELD OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a CT image processing method capable of obtaining highly accurate shape data from a CT image and a standard sample for CT image processing.
[0002]
[Prior art]
Conventionally, when performing a surgical operation, a three-dimensional image is generated using a CT image obtained from an X-ray CT (Computed Tomography) apparatus, and a surgical operation is performed based on the three-dimensional image. They perform preliminary simulations to plan the surgery and create implants to be implanted in bone defects. The X-ray CT apparatus utilizes the fact that the X-ray absorption coefficient differs depending on the type of living tissue, and a CT image representing a cross-sectional image of a human body from X-ray transmission data obtained by an X-ray detector arranged in an arc shape. Generate
[0003]
In this case, a CT value that determines the density of each pixel of the CT image is measured from the X-ray transmission data. Further, as a result of reflecting the X-ray absorption coefficient of the living tissue in the X-ray transmission data, different CT values are obtained depending on the type of the living tissue. Thereby, for example, by binarizing the density of the CT image using the CT value unique to the bone as a threshold, a binarized image representing the shape of the bone is generated, and a three-dimensional image of the bone is formed from the binarized image. Generating has been done.
[0004]
As a method of generating a three-dimensional image from a CT image, for example, Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 5-103793, a planning support device for spinal surgery, and Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 6-98897, a three-dimensional model creating device, are known. A three-dimensional image of a bone or the like is generated from the binarized image obtained as described above, and a simulation or a three-dimensional model is formed based on the three-dimensional image. As a method of generating a three-dimensional image from the binarized image, for example, by acquiring the data of the surface of the three-dimensional shape by joining the outline portions of a plurality of binarized images acquired while shifting the position, A method for generating an original image is known.
[0005]
However, since the CT value obtained by the measurement changes gradually near the surface of the bone, the size and shape of the binarized image are measured by the threshold of the CT value used to binarize the density of the CT image. It is different from the target bone. In addition, since the CT value fluctuates under the influence of the bone density, the living tissue surrounding the bone, or the operating voltage of the X-ray CT device, the threshold of the CT value is empirically adjusted by a doctor or a CT device operator. Thus, an appropriate binarized image is obtained.
[0006]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
As described above, since the threshold value of the CT value is adjusted based on the experience of the operator of the CT apparatus or the like, the accuracy and the accuracy of the size and shape of the bone represented by the binarized image are not always constant. The size and shape of the bone to be measured may not be accurately reflected on the three-dimensional image generated from the binarized image. As a result, simulation of surgery based on the three-dimensional image, production of implants, and the like are hindered.
