体調が良ければバランスを保とうとするバランス機能が良好に働くことに注目した上記のものは、上述のように重心動揺面積を基に体調を評価しているが、重心動揺面積はバランス機能の一部を示す計測値に過ぎず、たとえば同じ重心動揺面積であっても重心移動速度が速い方がバランス機能が高いと評価することができることから、上記の従来例にかかるものでの体調評価はその精度が高いとは言い難い。

以下本発明を実施の形態の一例に基づいて詳述すると、図は本発明に係る体調評価装置の概要を示すもので、図中1はコンピュータで構成された体調評価手段であり、該体調評価手段1には使用者が載っている時の重心動揺を計測することができる計測手段2と、使用者の生理情報や使用者の主観評価等を入力するための入力部3と、体調評価手段1が導き出した評価値を使用者に表示するための表示手段4とが接続されている。また上記体調評価手段1は、多数の使用者の個人別体調データを納めた個人体調データベースを備えたものとなっている。上記入力部3は使用者やオペレータが打ち込むキーボードのようなデバイスのほか、一部のデータ、たとえば生理的データについては、他のデータベースから必要とするデータを取り込むものを含むものとする。
