Description

【0001】

TECHNICAL FIELD OF THE INVENTION
TECHNICAL FIELD The present invention relates to a method for sewing a skin material for integral foaming, which is formed by joining a plurality of skin pieces together.
[0002]
[Prior art]
In a headrest, an armrest and the like provided in a conventional vehicle seat, a plurality of skin pieces cut into a predetermined shape are sewn into a bag shape with a sewing machine to form a skin material, and foam for pad molding is formed inside the skin material. There is one in which a liquid is injected and a pad is foamed and formed integrally with the skin material.
[0003]
Various measures are taken to prevent the foaming liquid from leaking outside through the needle hole of the sewing needle at the sewing location of the skin material.
[0004]
For example, the edges of the superposed skin pieces are overlock-stitched (see Patent Document 1), or a flexible sealing member is sewn along the seam of the skin material (see Patent Document 2). Alternatively, a technique in which a lower thread is made thicker than an upper thread is disclosed (see Patent Document 3).
[0005]
Patent Document 1 JP-A-8-309765 Patent Document 2 JP-A-8-243271 Patent Document 3 JP-A-2-164387
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
Therefore, in order to prevent the foaming liquid from leaking from the needle hole, a separate sewing operation is required for the sewing operation by the conventional sewing machine, so that the workability of the sewing operation is extremely poor and the material cost increases. Was.
[0007]
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION It is an object of the present invention to provide a method of sewing a skin material for integral foaming, which simplifies sewing work and can completely prevent leakage of a foaming liquid from the needle hole to the outside.
[0008]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
In order to achieve the above object, a method of sewing a skin material for foaming integrated with a skin according to the present invention is characterized in that two upper threads are inserted into a sewing needle of the sewing machine, and the skin pieces are joined and sewn. And
[0009]
According to the above configuration, two upper threads are passed through the needle holes of the sewing needle through which the upper thread passes, so that the needle holes are closed by the two upper threads. In addition, the tightness of the joined portions of the skin pieces is enhanced by the two upper threads. Therefore, leakage of the foaming liquid from the needle hole of the upper thread sewing machine needle can be prevented.
[0010]
BEST MODE FOR CARRYING OUT THE INVENTION
Hereinafter, an embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings.
FIG. 1 shows a state in which the ends of two skin pieces 3 and 4 constituting a skin material are aligned and overlapped, and the skin pieces 3 and 4 are sewn together with two upper threads 1A and 1B along the ends. 3 and 4 are overlapped and sewn so that the surface side is joined.
[0011]
As shown in FIG. 2, the above two upper threads 1A and 1B are inserted into a through hole A 'of one sewing needle A, and the sewing needle A is conventionally used for sewing the skin pieces 3 and 4 of this kind. (For example, the maximum diameter of No. 18 to No. 21) is used.
[0012]
The feed pitch L of the skin pieces 3 and 4 by the sewing machine described above is preferably 4 mm or less, and may be smaller than 4 mm. However, if the pitch L is larger than that, the tightening of sewing described later may be deteriorated, and the foaming liquid may leak. is there.
[0013]
The upper threads 1A and 1B passed through the respective sewing needles A are the same, and a polyester thread having a diameter of about 8 used for conventional sewing of this type is used.
[0014]
The lower thread 2 in which the two upper threads 1A and 1B are entangled is a polyester thread having the same thickness as the upper thread 1A and 1B conventionally used with this type of lower thread. As shown in FIG. 3, the two upper threads 1A and 1B are entangled.
[0015]
Each of the skin pieces 3 and 4 is cut into a predetermined shape, and surface materials 31 and 41 made of the woven fabric, nonwoven fabric, knit, and the like, and a slab urethane integrally formed inside the surface materials 31 and 41 are provided. And the like.
[0016]
Further, a coating 33 formed by heating and melting the outer surfaces of the foam materials 32 and 42 is formed on the outer surfaces of the foam materials 32 and 42 in order to prevent impregnation of the foaming liquid for pad molding into the foam materials 32 and 42. , 43, etc., or a member is stuck.
[0017]
FIG. 4 shows a state in which after the skin pieces 3 and 4 are joined by the above-described method, the surface materials 31 and 41 are bent in the arrow direction so that the surface materials 31 and 41 are on the outside, that is, the respective seam allowances 30 and 40 are on the inside. Is shown.
[0018]
A large number of skin materials (not shown) are joined together with the seam allowances 30 and 40 inside, and sewn into a bag shape to form a trim cover A. After a frame C is mounted inside the trim cover A, the inside of the bag-shaped trim cover D The pad E is molded integrally with the trim cover D by injecting a foaming liquid for molding the pad E into the headrest of the vehicle seat shown in FIG.
[0019]
In the headrest, two upper threads 1A and 1B are inserted into each needle hole H of the sewing pieces A of the skin pieces 3 and 4 and sewn with the two upper threads 1A and 1B. Since the tightening by the sewing machine becomes strong, it is formed in a bag shape so that the seam allowances 30 and 40 are on the inside, and when the foaming liquid is injected into the inside and foamed, it is difficult for the foaming liquid to permeate into the jointed portion. Further, since the sealing member is a filling member that fills and closes the needle hole H with the two upper threads, it is possible to completely prevent the leakage of the foaming liquid from the needle hole H to the outside.
[0020]
Although the headrest is shown in FIG. 5 as a skin-integrated foamed product, it can be optimally used for a method of sewing a skin material such as an armrest.
[0021]
【The invention's effect】
ADVANTAGE OF THE INVENTION According to the sewing method of the skin material for skin integral foaming which concerns on this invention, the leakage of the foaming liquid from the needle hole of the sewing needle is prevented by the conventional sewing machine using the conventional sewing machine of this kind of the skin material as it is. Sewing that can be performed becomes possible.
