従来、冬場などの寒い時期においても使用者がより快適に排便でき且つ電力消費量が少なくて済むように、便座内部に面状ヒータを収納して便座表面を加熱することで使用者が便座に着座した時に便座に接する大腿部や臀部を暖める暖房便座機能と、本体ケースに収納した温風発生装置から供給された温風を便座後方に配置された吹き出し口から使用者が便座に着座した時に便座に接しない人体露出部(腰や臀部)に向かって送風する人体暖房機能とを併備した暖房便座装置が提案されている(例えば、特許文献1参照。)。

通常、暖房便座機能や人体暖房機能には個々に便座温度や温風温度を使用者が任意に設定することができる温度設定手段を有し、温度設定手段の設定値に基づいて各々が独立して温度制御されている。
しかしながら、暖房便座機能と人体暖房機能を各々の温度設定手段の設定値に基づいて同時に動作させてしまうと、使用者は便座に近接する臀部付近において便座から供給される熱と温風から供給される熱によって局所的な熱さを感じ不快となる。

本発明は、上記課題を解決するためになされたもので、使用者の温熱感覚に応じて便座温度を制御し快適性を損なうこと無く節電を図る暖房便座装置を提供することを目的とする。

【課題を解決するための手段および作用・効果】
上記課題を解決する為、請求項1記載の発明は、便座と、該便座を加熱する便座加熱手段と、前記便座の表面温度を使用者が便座温度設定手段にて任意に設定した便座温度となるよう、前記便座加熱手段の発熱量を制御する制御部と、温風発生装置と、該温風発生装置から供給された温風を前記便座の先端方向に送風する吹き出し口とから構成され、前記吹き出し口から温風の送風が開始されると、前記制御部は前記便座温度設定手段にて設定された便座温度より低い温度を目標として前記便座加熱手段の発熱量を制御することを特徴とする暖房便座装置である。
使用者の温熱感覚に関係なく使用者が着座する以前に便座加熱手段の発熱量を制御し便座温度設定手段にて設定された便座温度より低く制御すると、使用者に冷やり感を与える恐れがある。
また、使用者が着座する以前に温風の送風を開始すると、便座表面から熱を奪いその結果便座温度が低下して使用者に冷やり感を与える恐れがある。
従って、使用者が便座に着座してから温風の送風を開始し、それに伴い前記制御部が前記便座加熱手段の発熱量を制御し前記便座温度設定手段にて設定された便座温度より低く制御することにより、使用者は局所的な熱さを感じることなく快適に排便することができ、節電も図れる。

請求項2記載の発明は、前記暖房便座装置に、前記吹き出し口から送風される温風の温度を使用者が任意に設定できる温風温度設定手段と、該温風温度設定手段の設定値に応じて前記便座温度設定手段の設定値から低く補正した便座温度を算出する補正演算部とを有し、前記吹き出し口から温風の送風が開始されると、前記制御部は前記補正演算部の演算結果に基づいて前記便座加熱手段の発熱量を制御することを特徴とする請求項1記載の暖房便座装置である。
人体の皮膚温は人体の中心部に近い部分が高く、末端にいくにつれて徐々に低下している。この現象は冬場のような室温が寒い時により顕著となり、体内の熱を外気に奪われないよう自然に温度調整を行っている。
本発明の暖房便座装置は、使用者が便座に着座した時に便座表面と接触するやや中心部から離れた位置である大腿部裏側および臀部を便座を介して間接的に暖める暖房便座機能と、ほぼ人体の中心部である腰から臀部にかけて直接温風を送風して暖める人体暖房機能とを備え、使用環境や使用者の体調に応じて便座や温風の温度を任意に設定することができる。
従って、温風温度設定手段の設定値から使用者の温熱感覚を把握することが可能となり、温風温度設定手段の設定値に応じて便座温度設定手段の設定値から補正した便座温度を算出する補正演算部にて算出された演算結果に応じて便座加熱手段への通電量を減らし発熱量を減少させることで、使用者の快適性を損なうことなく便座温度設定手段にて設定された便座温度を補正して節電を図ることができる。
便座温度設定手段の設定値に係わらず温風温度設定手段の設定値から便座温度を決定することもできるが、一般的に、女性は冷え性で便座の着座位置も男性より便座先端側に着座する傾向があるため、吹き出し口から送風される温風の温度は男性より高く設定される場合が多い。
そのため、季節やトイレの設置環境によって女性が使用した後に男性が使用すると便座温度が高く不快に感じ、逆に、男性が使用した後に女性が使用すると便座温度が低く寒く感じやすい。
このように性別が異なると、温風を送風する部位の生理的機能や着座位置の相違により送風する温度に大きなバラツキが生じて、風温設定手段の設定値から便座温度を決定していると、使用者の性別や着座位置が異なると便座温度が不必要に変動し使用者に不快感を与える。
従って、一般家庭など男女が兼用するトイレでは温風温度設定手段の設定値に応じて便座温度設定手段にて設定された便座温度を基準として便座温度を補正することで、性別に関係なく快適に排便することができる。

例えば、使用者が温風温度設定手段にて温風の温度を40℃に設定している場合は便座設定温度より3〜5℃下げ、60℃に設定している場合は便座設定温度より1℃下げるようにすることで、効率良く節電しながら使用者は快適に排便することができる。

以下、本発明にかかる暖房便座装置の実施の形態を、図面により詳細に説明する。

図1に示す便座暖房装置1は、本体ケース7と、本体ケース7前方に配置した便座2と、便座2表面を加熱するため便座2内部に収納した便座加熱手段17(面状ヒータ)と、便座2の表面温度を使用者が任意に設定できる便座温度設定手段11と、本体ケース7側面に配置され空気を送風する送風ファン3と、送風ファン3により送風された空気を加熱し温風とする温風ヒータ4と、片端が本体ケース7側面から突出した送風ダクト6と、温風を便座2の先端方向に送風する吹き出し口として一端が閉塞され他端に設けられた流入口9から温風を流入し便座2幅方向に沿って配置された複数の流出口10a、10b、10c、10d、10eから温風を流出する吹き出しダクト8と、吹き出しダクト8から送風される温風の温度を使用者が任意に設定できる温風温度設定手段12と、便座加熱手段17の発熱量と送風ファン3の回転数と温風ヒータ4の発熱量を制御する制御部5と、温風温度設定手段12の設定値に応じて便座温度設定手段11の設定値から補正した便座温度を算出する補正演算部13と、使用者が便座に着座したことを検知する着座検知手段14と、トイレ室内の温度を検知する室内温度検知手段15と温風温度設定手段12の設定値に係わらず便座温度設定手段11の設定値に基づいて便座加熱手段17の発熱量を制御する温度制御選択手段16とから構成される。

温風温度設定手段12による温風温度の設定範囲は暖房効率や安全性を考慮すると、流出口10付近における温度が体温より少し高い40℃前後から短時間接触しても火傷することがない60℃前後が適当であり、効率良く節電しようとした場合、温風温度設定手段12の設定値が低くなるにつれて便座温度設定手段11の設定値から補正する補正温度を高くすることが好ましい。
図2に示すように温風温度設定手段12の設定値が高くなるに連れて便座温度設定手段11の設定値から補正する補正温度を低くする(パターン1)、または、40〜46℃を低温域、47〜53℃を中温域、54〜60℃を高温域と設定すると、高・中温域においては補正温度をそれぞれ1℃・2℃と固定し、低温域においては3〜10℃と細分化する(パターン2)ことで、効率良く節電しながら使用者は快適に排便することができる。
温風温度設定手段は使用者がボリュウムやスイッチ類を操作し、温風温度の設定範囲において細かく設定できるようにしても良いし、高(60℃)・中(50℃)低(40℃)と予め区分された温風温度のいずれかを選択しても良い。

次に、本発明の暖房便座装置1の動作について図3のタイミングチャートを用いて説明する。

このように、温風温度設定手段12の設定値から使用者の温熱感覚を把握して、使用者が便座2に着座し流出口10から温風温度設定手段12にて設定された温度の温風の送風が開始されると、温風温度設定手段12の設定値に応じて便座温度設定手段11の設定値から補正した便座温度を算出する補正演算部にて算出された演算結果に応じて便座加熱手段17への通電量を減らし発熱量を減少させることで、使用者の快適性を損なうことなく便座温度設定手段11にて設定された便座温度を補正して節電を図ることができる。
