前記のような支持具2を利用して二重葺き折板屋根を葺設するには、下葺き側のはぜ継ぎ部14上に配設される多数個の支持具2のそれぞれについて、締結ボルト41・ナット42、タッピングビス43、及び吊子固定ボルト51・ナット52の締付作業を行なう必要がある。折板屋根が葺設されるのは比較的大面積の屋根であることが多く、これらの締結具の個数は相当数にのぼるため、その締付作業が甚だ面倒であるとともに、締付作業中にナット42,52や座金等を落としやすいという問題があった。

前記課題を解決するため、本発明の二重葺き折板屋根の支持具は、対面する左右一対のブロックによって下葺き側の折板屋根のはぜ継ぎ部及び上葺き側の折板屋根の吊子をそれぞれ挟持するとともに、これら左右のブロックを貫通する締結ボルト・ナットによって両ブロックを締結するように構成された二重葺き折板屋根の支持具において、両ブロック間に上葺き側の吊子の脚部を挟持した状態で、この脚部に形成された挿通孔と、この挿通孔に孔中心を一致させて両ブロックを貫通するように形成された吊子固定ピン貫通孔に、一方のブロックの側方から、軸部の先端に抜け止め手段の設けられた吊子固定ピンを挿入することにより、上葺き側の吊子が両ブロック間に固定されることを特徴とする。
