次に同図(b)(c)のように、骨折部2を突き合せた状態で骨1の骨折部2の周面に骨接合用板3を固く巻きつけることにより、骨折部2を固定する。この状態で一定期間が過ぎると、骨折部2に骨組織が生成されて骨折部2を接合固定することができる。
この骨組織の生成を促進するために、骨接合用板3に超音波振動を与える超音波治療方法が考えられる。

上記の目的を達成するために本発明による骨接合用板は、板材に複数の穴が設けられると共に、この板材の一の面に複数の凸部が設けられていることを特徴とするものである。

従って、本発明によれば、超音波治療時には骨接合用板の上記凸部が骨の表面に接触するので、骨接合用板に加えられた超音波振動はこの接触部を介して集中的に骨及び骨折部に伝えられる。このため、従来に比べて骨組織生成の促進効果を高め、効率のよい超音波治療を行うことができる。また、上記穴を介して骨接合用板の外側の生体組織と骨及び骨折部とを接続させることができる。

【発明の実施の形態】
以下、本発明の実施の形態を図面と共に説明する。
図1は本発明の実施の形態による骨接合用板を示すものである。
本実施の形態による骨接合用板10は、図1(a)のように薄い板材11に多数の三角形の穴12が設けられると共に、この穴13を空けたことにより裏面に形成される三角形の突片からなる凸部13が設けられてなるものである。このような骨接合用板10は、板材11をプレス加工することにより得ることができる。尚、穴12及び凸部13の形状は三角形に限らず他の形状であってもよい。

図1(b)は、本実施の形態による骨接合用板10を骨折部2の超音波治療に用いる場合を示す断面図で、骨接合用板10を骨1の骨折部2の周囲に固く巻きつけた状態を示す。この状態では、図示のように凸部13の先端が骨1の表面に略点接触している。

この状態で骨接合用板10に外部の超音波発信装置から超音波信号を与え、骨接合用板10を超音波振動させると、この超音波振動が多数の凸部13による上記点接触部分を介して骨1及び骨折部2に伝えられる。即ち、図3の従来の凸部13の無い骨接合用板4の場合は、超音波振動が一部拡散されて伝えられるが、本実施の形態による骨接合用板10の場合は、超音波振動が上記点接触部分を介して集中的に骨1及び骨折部2に伝えられるので、効率のよい超音波治療を行うことができる。尚、穴12は、骨接合用板10の外側の生体組織と骨1及び骨折部2との間をこの穴12を介して体液等が通過するために必要である。

以上説明したように、本発明による骨接合用板によれば、板材に複数の穴を設けると共に、この板材の一の面に複数の凸部を設けたことにより、この骨接合用板を骨折部の超音波治療に用いるために骨接合用板を骨の周囲に巻きつけると、上記凸部が骨の表面に接触するので、超音波振動をこの接触部を介して集中的に骨及び骨折部に効率的に伝えることができる。従って、骨組織生成の促進効果を従来より高めることができ、治療時間を短縮することができる。
