Abstract
Description
【0001】

TECHNICAL FIELD OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a plug used for home electric appliances and the like.
[0002]
[Prior art]
The power plug runs electricity by plugging the blade into an outlet and operates home appliances. The power plugs of household appliances used every day are often left plugged in. If the power plug is left with insufficient insertion, or if the power plug is loose or left, a gap will be created between the power plug case and the outlet, and dust and debris may form on the blade. Collect around. The dust or dirt causes a tracking phenomenon in which the cutting blades are conducted, which causes a fire.
[0003]
Therefore, in order to prevent the tracking phenomenon, there is a type in which an insulating ring is provided at a root portion of the insert blade. When the insert blade is inserted into the outlet, the ring is in close contact with the outlet to prevent dust and dirt from adhering to the insert blade (for example, see Patent Document 1). In addition, there is one provided with a rubber cover that covers the entire two insert blades (for example, see Patent Document 2).

[Patent Document 1] JP-A-08-273742 (paragraphs 0007 to 0009, FIG. 1)
[Patent Document 2] Registered Utility Model No. 3007756 (paragraph 0007, FIG. 1)
[0005]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
By the way, in
[0006]
In these structures, a path from the outside to the insert blade is formed by the gap, so that dust or dirt entering through this passage collects between the two insert blades, and a tracking phenomenon may occur. There is.
[0007]
Therefore, an object of the present invention is to provide a plug that can prevent a tracking phenomenon by preventing dust, dust, and the like from collecting around the insertion blade.
[0008]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
In order to solve the above-mentioned problems, the present invention provides a case in which a case includes a plurality of pins to be inserted into a connector, and a cover covering at least one of the pins is provided integrally with the case. The cover deforms when the plug is inserted into the insertion opening of the connector and covers the periphery of the insertion opening. The connector is an outlet, a pin jack, or the like, and the pins are rod-shaped or flat-plate-shaped.
[0009]
According to the above configuration, when the pin is inserted into the insertion opening of the connector, the cover is deformed by contacting the connector. Then, the cover comes into close contact with the periphery of the insertion opening, and the space around the insertion opening can be shielded from the external space. Therefore, even if a gap is formed between the case and the connector due to loosening of the plug or the like, the pin is completely hidden from the outside by the cover. Even if dust or dirt enters the gap from the outside, it is blocked by the cover and does not enter the area around the pin. Therefore, there is no possibility that dust, dust and the like are accumulated between the pins to be in a conductive state, and the tracking phenomenon can be prevented.
[0010]
The cover may be provided for each of the plurality of pins, or may be provided for only one of the pins. This is because by covering at least one of the pins with the cover, the adjacent pins can be made non-conductive. Also, the cover can be shaped so as to be deformed so as to be pushed open when it comes into contact with the connector. This allows the cover to cover all of the insertion opening or its surroundings, whatever the shape.

【The invention's effect】
As described above, according to the present invention, when a pin such as an insert blade is inserted into an insertion port of a connector such as an outlet, the pin is covered with the cover even if a gap occurs due to loosening between the plug and the connector. Can be hidden. As a result, it is possible to prevent a short circuit, a tracking fire, and the like that occur due to the accumulation of dust or dust between the pins.
[0023]
Further, since the cover is integrated with the case, the cover does not fall off or displace when the plug is used. In addition, since the cover is deformable, it can correspond to any shape of connector. Therefore, stable tracking resistance can be always obtained, and a versatile plug can be realized.
