Description

The present invention relates to a light-emitting handrail device installed on a stair, a hallway, an entrance, or the like of a general home or a public facility.

It is well known that a lighting device is attached to a handrail so that the handrail can be visually recognized in darkness such as at night. Also, a handrail illuminating device in which a lighting device is automatically blinked by a human detection sensor is well known (see Patent Documents 1 and 2 below).

However, in conventional handrail lighting devices, since the human detection sensor is mounted on a wall close to the handrail, large-scale installation work such as embedding the sensor in the wall and wiring work is required, and the construction cost is high. is there.

On the other hand, Patent Literature 3 below discloses a handrail in which an illumination lamp and a light diffusing device are provided in a hollow handrail having translucency, and a human detection sensor is attached to the handrail surface. However, since this handrail is configured by mounting an illuminating light and a sensing sensor at a predetermined location in a hollow body, wiring for connecting an external power supply to the handrail becomes complicated, and the handrail has a light-transmitting property. Since the wiring is visually recognized from the outside, there is a problem that the appearance is poor. Moreover, since the handrail must be hollow and translucent, the lighting device cannot be applied to a wooden handrail that has been widely used in the past.

An object of the present invention is to provide a light-emitting handrail device that is easily visible in a dark place, is easy to attach at the time of construction, and is applicable to a wooden handrail.

The light-emitting handrail device of the present invention includes a handrail member in which a light-emitting body is laid in a concave groove formed along the longitudinal direction, and an end bracket attached to an end of the handrail member. The handrail member is provided with a human sensor or an optical sensor for emitting light from the light emitter, and an electric circuit and a power supply for driving the human sensor or the optical sensor are built in the end bracket and / or the handrail member. It is characterized by having.

As the linear illuminant, it is preferable to use a linear electroluminescent illuminant (EL illuminant) or a light emitting diode (LED) which consumes less power and can be easily laid even with a handrail member such as a tree.

The opening of the concave groove in which the luminous body is laid may be closed with a light-transmitting cover such as a transparent plastic material, but is preferably closed with a luminous cover, so that after turning off indoor lighting, Naturally, even after the light emission of the luminous body has ceased, the phosphorescent cover that absorbs the light energy from the light emits afterglow, so that the handrail can be visually recognized from a distance far from the sensor and the luminous time of the luminous body is shortened Therefore, power consumption can be further reduced.

Another light-emitting handrail device of the present invention includes a handrail member, and an end bracket attached to an end of the handrail member, a light-emitting window having a light-emitting body laid inside a surface of the end bracket, and the light-emitting window. A human sensing sensor or a light sensor for emitting light from the body is provided. That is, this light-emitting handrail device has a light-emitting body and a sensor provided on an end bracket.

It is preferable that a control circuit for controlling light emission of the light emitter by a pulse signal be provided in the electric circuit.

Preferably, the electric circuit is provided with sensitivity adjustment means for a human sensor or an optical sensor.

According to the present invention, since the luminous body is laid along the longitudinal direction of the handrail member, the handrail can be easily visually recognized even in a dark place, so that the safety of the pedestrian can be improved. Further, in the present invention, since a human detection sensor or an optical sensor is provided on an end bracket for fixing the handrail member to a wall surface or the like, construction for attaching the sensor to the wall surface or the like is substantially unnecessary, and construction cost is reduced. Can be reduced, and the appearance of the handrail is not impaired. In addition, since the electric circuit and power supply of the human sensor or the optical sensor are built in the end bracket and / or the handrail member, there is no need to perform wiring work on the wall or the like at the time of installation, which is easy and reduces the construction cost. Can be reduced.
Moreover, since the luminous body of the present invention is embedded in a concave groove formed along the longitudinal direction of the handrail member and has the sensor provided on the end bracket, the material and structure of the handrail member are limited. Therefore, the present invention can be easily applied to a handrail made of wood.

According to another light-emitting handrail device of the present invention, by providing a light-emitting body and a sensor on the end bracket, visibility can be easily imparted to the handrail at low cost.

Hereinafter, a light-emitting handrail device of the present invention will be described in detail with reference to the drawings.
FIG. 1 is a perspective view showing a light-emitting handrail device according to an embodiment of the present invention, and FIG. 2 is a sectional view of a handrail member in the light-emitting handrail device. As shown in FIG. 1, this light-emitting handrail device includes a handrail member 11 and end brackets 12 and 13 provided at both ends of the handrail member 11. The bottom portions of the end brackets 12 and 13 are fixed to a mounting portion 1 such as a wall. ing. The handrail member 11 can be made of various materials such as wood, metal, plastics, and the like, and may have a hollow structure. However, it is preferable that the handrail member is made of a wood having a particularly good touch. Further, the length of the handrail member 11 can be appropriately determined according to the place of use, but usually, it is sufficient that the length is in the range of about 200 to 5000 mm.

One light emitting portion 16 is formed on the handrail member 11 along the longitudinal direction of the handrail member 11 and over the entire length. In other words, as shown in FIG. 2, the light emitting section 16 includes a linear light emitting body 15 laid in a narrow bottom groove 17 provided in the handrail member 11 and a wide light section formed on the bottom groove 17. And a translucent luminous cover 19 fitted in the upper concave groove 18 and closing the concave grooves 17, 18.

As the linear light-emitting body 15, for example, a linear EL light-emitting body, an LED, or the like can be used. Specifically, for example, a trade name “Lumitube”, which is an EL luminous body, may be mentioned. The luminous cover 19 is formed by mixing a luminous material (a luminous pigment or the like) with a resin material such as an acrylic resin or a urethane resin and extruding the mixture. Note that a translucent protective cover or film may be provided on the surface of the light storage cover 19.

The end brackets 12, 13 are made of metal, hard plastic material or the like, and have covers 12a, 13a on the front surface as shown in FIG. When attaching the handrail to the mounting portion 1 such as a wall, the covers 12a and 13a are removed, and a screw (not shown) is screwed into the mounting portion 1 through a screw insertion hole provided in the bottom plate of the end brackets 12 and 13. Then, the end brackets 12 and 13 are fixed to the mounting portion 1.

One end bracket 12 is provided with a human detection sensor 14. Examples of the human detection sensor 14 include an infrared sensor and the like. In particular, a small-sized pyroelectric infrared sensor having a wide detection area (for example, an MP motion sensor manufactured by Matsushita Electric Works, Ltd.) is preferably used. This sensor detects a change in infrared rays that occurs when a human body having a temperature difference from the surroundings moves. The human detection sensor 14 is attached to a side surface of the end bracket 12 with at least a lens portion on which infrared light enters is exposed from the end bracket 12 to the outside.

Since such a human detection sensor 14 can detect a human body in a wide area (for example, an area having a radius of about 5 m) exceeding the entire length of the handrail member 11, it is possible to reliably detect a human body approaching the handrail. Further, the human detection sensor 14 is preferably provided with an adjustment circuit for adjusting the sensitivity as needed.

An electric circuit for electrically connecting the terminal of the human detection sensor 14 and the light-emitting body 15 is formed inside the end bracket 12, and a power supply is connected to this electric circuit. Then, when the human detection sensor 14 detects a human body, the electric circuit is automatically closed, a current flows through the luminous body 15, and the luminous body 15 emits light. The light emitter 15 is configured to stop emitting light. The time during which the luminous body 15 emits light is preferably a time sufficient for the pedestrian to pass through the handrail, but when the luminous body 19 is provided as described above, a shorter time is required. However, the handrail member 11 can be displayed by the afterglow from the light storage cover 19. In addition, when a control circuit for controlling light emission of the light emitting body 15 by a pulse signal is provided in the electric circuit, the light emitting body 15 blinks by the pulse signal, so that consumption of electric energy can be reduced.

The power supply may be either an AC power supply or a DC power supply. In the case of using a DC power supply, if a battery is housed inside the end bracket 12, wiring work or the like at the time of installation becomes unnecessary, and construction is easy. There is an advantage that there is. The battery can be easily replaced by removing the cover 12a. In the case of an AC power supply, a power cable (not shown) having a plug inserted at the end is connected to a circuit in the end bracket 12, and this power cable is pulled out from the end bracket 12 and connected to an outlet provided on a wall or the like. Just plug in.

In the light-emitting handrail device configured as described above, regardless of the direction of the end brackets 12 and 13, the human detection sensor 14 detects the approach and automatically emits light from the light emitter 15, and the light storage cover 19. After that, the entire light emitting unit 16 is made bright. Therefore, the visibility of the handrail member 11 in a dark place is improved. Note that a simple translucent cover may be used instead of the light storage cover 19.

FIG. 3 shows another embodiment of the present invention. As shown in FIG. 3, the light-emitting handrail device according to this embodiment includes a handrail member 31 and end brackets 32 provided on both ends of the handrail member 31. On the surface are provided light emitting windows 34, 34, and a human detection sensor 35 for emitting light from a light emitting body laid inside the light emitting windows 34, 34. In FIG. 3, reference numeral 32a denotes a cover provided on the end bracket 32, and light-emitting windows 34, 34 and a human detection sensor 35 are attached to the cover 32a. The light-emitting window 34 has a light-emitting body mounted inside, and the surface is closed with a light-storing cover or a normal light-transmitting cover.

In this embodiment, since the end bracket 32 is provided with the light emitter and the human detection sensor 35, the end of the handrail member 31 can be easily visually recognized even in a dark place. The light emitting unit 16 may be provided on the handrail member, and the light emitting body may be provided on both of the end brackets.

In addition, instead of the human detection sensors 14 and 35, an optical sensor for detecting ambient brightness may be used. This optical sensor automatically energizes the light emitter to emit light when the room becomes dark. Furthermore, a light sensor is combined with the human detection sensors 14 and 35, so that the luminous body does not emit light when the human detection sensors 14 and 35 detect a human when the surroundings are bright, and detects the movement of the human when the surroundings are dark. The light-emitting body can emit light. Further, it is preferable that the optical sensor is provided with an adjusting circuit for adjusting the sensitivity of sensing the surrounding light and dark.

In the above embodiment, the human sensors 14 and 35 or the optical sensors are arranged on the end brackets 12, 13 and 32. However, the present invention is not limited to this. 31. Further, in the above-described embodiment, the electric circuit and the power supply of the human detection sensor 14 or the optical sensor are incorporated in the end brackets 12, 13, and 32, but the present invention is not limited to this, and the electric circuit and the power supply May be incorporated in the handrail members 11 and 31. When the electric circuit and the power supply of the human detection sensor 14 or the optical sensor are incorporated in the handrail member, when the structure of the handrail member is a hollow object, it can be built in the hollow member. In the case of disposing the handrail member made of wood, a mounting hole can be formed near the end of the handrail member by cutting or the like, and can be built in the mounting hole. Further, an electric circuit and a power supply may be separately provided in the end brackets 12, 13, 32 and the handrail members 11, 31.
