本発明は主に食品、とくに吊り棒に吊下された状態で陳列・販売されるのが望ましい目刺し等の食品に適する包装用箱に関するものである。

この場合、従来は、段ボールや発泡スチロール製の箱内に多数の目刺しを整列状態で梱包して保存、輸送し、かつ、店頭で陳列・販売するに過ぎないため、次のような問題が生じていた。
