Abstract
Description
【0001】

TECHNICAL FIELD OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a vehicle body structure of an automobile, and more particularly to a vehicle body structure that ensures operation of an airbag, which is a safety device at the time of a collision.
[0002]
[Prior art]
The airbag is an occupant protection device for protecting an occupant inside the vehicle when the vehicle receives an external impact. In particular, a curtain-shaped airbag installed on a side portion of a vehicle is an occupant protection device for protecting an occupant from an impact on the side portion of the vehicle (for example, see Patent Document 1).

[Problems to be solved by the invention]
FIG. 7 is a schematic cross-sectional view showing a state in which impact energy is input to the vehicle side in the conventional vehicle body structure 12 shown in FIG. When impact energy is input to the vehicle side, the vehicle side 19-1 is deformed into the interior of the vehicle, and attempts to move the seat 13-1 in the vehicle width direction. Here, when the seat reinforcement 16 provided on the seat 13-1 collides with the center console reinforcement 17 fixed to the floor 18 in the
[0009]
As described above, while the movement of the seat 13-1 in the vehicle width direction is suppressed by the seat reinforcing member 16, the seat 13-1 and the seat back frame 14-1 having relatively low strength with respect to collision energy are: Along with the deformation of the vehicle side portion, a portion facing the vehicle side portion is deformed, and the upper portion of the seat 13-1, particularly the headrest 11, hardly moves in the vehicle width direction.
[0010]
As a result, when an impact load is input from the side of the vehicle, the deployment space A (between the center pillar 7-1 and the headrest 11), which is the space where the airbag stored in the roof side rail 6 is deployed, is reduced. The airbag may be caught in the narrow deployment space A, and the airbag may not be fully deployed.
[0011]
The present invention has been made in view of the above circumstances, and has as its object to provide a vehicle body structure that ensures operation of an airbag, which is a safety device in the event of a collision.
[0012]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
According to a first aspect of the present invention, there is provided a seat having a movement restraining means for restraining a movement in a vehicle width direction when an impact load is input from a side portion of a vehicle at a lower portion of the seat, and further including the movement restraining means above The vehicle body structure is provided with a moving means for moving the headrest in the same direction in accordance with the movement of the side portion of the vehicle in the vehicle width direction when an impact load is input.
[0013]
By moving the headrest in the same direction as the vehicle side when the impact load is input, sufficient space is secured between the vehicle side and the headrest along the roof side rail, and the deployment of the airbag is ensured. I do. In addition, the installation position of the movement suppressing means may be the lower part of the seat back or the seat cushion. As the moving means, for example, an electric moving device, a reinforcing member described below, or the like can be considered.
[0014]
A second aspect of the present invention for solving the above-mentioned problems is the vehicle body structure according to the first aspect, wherein the moving means is provided at a portion facing the vehicle side portion.
[0015]
By providing the moving means at a position opposing the vehicle side of the seat back, when an impact load is input from the vehicle side, the vehicle side acts on the moving means provided on the seat back to move the headrest.
[0016]
According to a third aspect of the present invention, there is provided a vehicle body structure according to the first or second aspect, wherein the moving means is a reinforcing member for reinforcing an upper portion of the seat back.
[0017]
By using the moving member as a reinforcing member, it is possible to prevent a part of the seat back from being deformed and to narrow the space between the vehicle side portion and the headrest.
[0018]
BEST MODE FOR CARRYING OUT THE INVENTION
Hereinafter, embodiments of the present invention will be specifically described with reference to the drawings, but the following embodiments do not limit the present invention.
[0019]
[First Embodiment]
FIG. 1 is a schematic sectional view of a vehicle body structure according to a first embodiment of the present invention as viewed from the front of the vehicle body. As shown in the figure, a vehicle body structure 20 according to the present embodiment includes a seat 13 having a seat cushion 10 and a seat back 9 installed on a floor 18 of a vehicle, and a headrest 11 provided on an upper portion of the seat back 9. A seat reinforcement member 16 provided below the seat 13, a seat back frame 14 for supporting the seat back 9, and a headrest movement promotion fixedly installed on the seat back frame 14 on the side of the
[0020]
In the present embodiment, the headrest movement promoting reinforcing member 21 which is a moving means and a reinforcing member is located above the seat reinforcing member 16 of the seatback 9 and at a position opposed to the
[0021]
The seat reinforcing member 16, which is a movement suppressing means, is provided inside the
[0022]
In addition, when an impact load is input from the
[0023]
FIG. 2 is a schematic cross-sectional view showing a state in which impact energy is input to the vehicle side in the vehicle body structure 20 according to the present embodiment shown in FIG. When impact energy is input to the vehicle side, the vehicle side 19-1 is deformed into the interior of the vehicle, and attempts to move the seat 13-1 in the vehicle width direction. Here, when the seat reinforcement 16 provided on the seat 13-1 collides with the center console reinforcement 17 fixed to the floor 18 in the
[0024]
On the other hand, the vicinity of the upper portion of the seat back 9-1 is reinforced by the headrest movement promotion reinforcing material 21 so as to have sufficient strength against collision energy. As a result, the portion of the upper portion of the seat back 9-1 and the upper portion of the seat back frame 14-1 facing the vehicle side hardly undergoes compressive deformation, and the shape of the upper portion of the seat back 9-1 is maintained and the seat reinforcing member The deformation between the upper part 16 and the upper part of the seat back 9-1 absorbs impact energy.
[0025]
Therefore, when an impact load is input from the side of the vehicle, the deployment space B (between the center pillar 7-1 and the headrest 11), which is the space where the airbag stored in the roof side rail 6-1 is deployed, is subjected to the impact load. There is no significant change compared to before input. As a result, the airbag can be sufficiently deployed in the deployment space B without being caught on the headrest 11.
[0026]
This is because, when an impact load is input from the side of the vehicle, the vicinity of the upper portion of the seat 13-1, particularly the headrest 11, can move in the same direction in accordance with the deformation movement of the center pillar 7-1 into the inside of the vehicle. .
[0027]
[Second embodiment]
FIG. 3 is a schematic sectional view of a vehicle body structure according to a second embodiment of the present invention as viewed from the front of the vehicle body. As shown in FIG. 1, a vehicle body structure 22 according to the present embodiment includes a seat 13 having a seat cushion 10 and a seatback 9 installed on a floor 18 of a vehicle, and a headrest 11 provided on an upper portion of the seatback 9. A seat reinforcing member 16 provided below the seat 13, a seat back frame 14 for supporting the seat back 9, a headrest movement promoting reinforcing member 23 fixedly installed on the seat back frame 14 above the seat 13, and a roof. An airbag (not shown, see FIG. 5) stored in the side rail 6.
[0028]
In the present embodiment, a headrest movement promoting reinforcing member 23 as a moving means and a reinforcing member is provided on the seatback frame 14 above the seat reinforcing member 16 of the seatback 9. The headrest movement promotion reinforcing member 23 is a bar-shaped member that reinforces the entire upper portion of the seat back frame 14. Further, the headrest 11 is supported by a headrest movement promoting reinforcing member 23 in the seat back 9. The headrest 11 is preferably supported by the headrest movement promotion reinforcing member 23, but may be supported by the seat back frame 14.

FIG. 4 is a schematic cross-sectional view showing a state where impact energy is input to the vehicle side in the vehicle body structure 22 according to the present embodiment shown in FIG. When impact energy is input to the vehicle side, the vehicle side 19-1 is deformed into the interior of the vehicle, and attempts to move the seat 13-1 in the vehicle width direction. Here, when the seat reinforcement 16 provided on the seat 13-1 collides with the center console reinforcement 17 fixed to the floor 18 in the
[0032]
On the other hand, the vicinity of the upper portion of the seat back 9-1 is reinforced by the headrest movement promotion reinforcing member 23 so as to have sufficient strength against collision energy.
[0033]
Therefore, when an impact load is input from the side of the vehicle, the deployment space B (between the center pillar 7-1 and the headrest 11), which is the space where the airbag stored in the roof side rail 6-1 is deployed, is subjected to the impact load. There is no significant change compared to before input. As a result, the airbag can be sufficiently deployed in the deployment space B without being caught on the headrest 11.
[0034]
This is because, when an impact load is input from the side of the vehicle, the vicinity of the upper portion of the seat 13-1, particularly the headrest 11, can move in the same direction in accordance with the deformation movement of the center pillar 7-1 into the inside of the vehicle. . In the present embodiment, since the bar-shaped headrest movement promoting reinforcing member 23 is installed like a stick bar on the upper portion of the seat back frame 14-1, the strength of the upper portion of the seat back frame 14-1 is sufficiently secured and deployed. The space B can be secured more reliably.
[0035]
In the first or second embodiment according to the present invention, a moving means and a headrest movement promoting reinforcing material, which is a reinforcing material, are installed on the upper portion of the seatback frame so that the upper portion of the seatback is not deformed by collision energy. At the same time, an interval between the headrest and the center pillar is ensured, but the present invention is not limited to this. For example, the member itself forming the upper part of the seat back frame may have high strength. In this case, a member that forms the upper portion of the seat back frame with increased strength serves as a moving unit. With this configuration, the number of parts can be reduced.
[0036]
Further, a fragile portion may be provided in the central portion of the conventional seat back frame, that is, between the seat reinforcing member 16 and the upper portion of the seat back frame. In this case, the member forming the upper part of the seat back frame becomes the moving means as described above. With this configuration, when the impact load is input from the side of the vehicle, the fragile portion is deformed. As a result, the upper portion of the seat back and the headrest 11 move inside the vehicle, and the deployment space for the airbag is secured.
[0037]
Further, the moving means is not limited to a reinforcing member, and may be, for example, a device configured to be activated in response to a side collision and to move the headrest into the vehicle by an electric motor.
[0038]
【The invention's effect】
According to the first aspect of the present invention, in a seat having a movement restraining means at a lower portion for restraining movement in a vehicle width direction when an impact load is input from a vehicle side portion, the seat is further moved above the movement restraining means when an impact load is input. The vehicle body structure is provided with moving means for moving the headrest in the same direction in accordance with the movement of the vehicle side in the vehicle width direction. Therefore, according to the first aspect, while the movement of the seat in the vehicle width direction can be suppressed by the movement suppressing means provided at the lower portion of the seat, the headrest can be moved in the vehicle width direction by the moving means. it can. As a result, a gap between the headrest and the side of the vehicle is secured, and the airbag can be deployed smoothly.
[0039]
According to a second aspect, in the vehicle body structure according to the first aspect, the moving means is provided at a portion facing the vehicle side portion. As a result, according to the second aspect, while the movement of the seat in the vehicle width direction can be suppressed by the movement suppressing means provided at the lower portion of the seat, a portion of the seat facing the vehicle side portion by the moving means. Only the deformation can be prevented, and the headrest can be moved in the vehicle width direction.
[0040]
According to a third aspect, in the vehicle body structure according to the first or second aspect, the moving means is a reinforcing member for reinforcing an upper portion of the seat back. As a result, in the third aspect, the upper portion of the seat back is partially deformed, and it is possible to prevent the space between the vehicle side portion and the headrest from being narrowed. It can be done smoothly.
