近時、腕時計の感覚で手首に装着するタイプの通信装置(携帯電話)が提唱されている。図8はその一例を示すもので、それは、バンド31を介して手首に装着される本体32と、本体32にコード34を介して接続され、使用時に指輪の如くして指に装着される骨伝導スピーカ33とから構成されている。

このタイプの通信装置においてはファッション性が重視されるところ、上記構成においては、一般に何ら装飾性が付与されることなく剥き出しとなるコード34が目立って目障りとなり、一見してこの種機器を装着していることが分かり、服装にも合わせにくく、ファッション性阻害要因となる。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
本発明は、上述したように、手首装着型でファッション性を重視するタイプの通信機器においては、コードがファッション性の阻害要因となることに鑑みてなされたもので、アクセサリーの如き装飾性を有しているため装飾具としての機能も併せ持ち、機器全体のファッション性を阻害するおそれのない装飾コードを提供することを課題とする。

【課題を解決するための手段】
上記課題を解決するための本発明に係る装飾コードは、多数の駒を連結していくことによってチェーン状に構成されるコードであって、前記駒の裏面に溝を設け、前記溝内に導線を挿通且つ係止可能にして成る。

前記溝は前記駒の裏面両側に設けることが好ましい。また、多数の駒を連結していくことによってチェーン状に構成されるコードであって、前記駒が挿通孔を備え、前記挿通孔に導線又は同軸ケーブルが挿通されることによって各駒が連結されるようにし、更に、前記導線を2本用いる場合において、その内の1本を、互いに接触し合う導電性を有する駒で代用するように構成することもできる。

【発明の実施の形態】
本発明の実施の形態を添付図面に依拠して説明する。図1は、本発明に係る装飾性を備えたコードを形成するための駒1の構成例を示すもので((A)は表面図、(B)は側面図、(C)は裏面図)、駒1は2つの側部要素2、3と1つの中間要素4を有し、側部要素2、3の間に、中間要素4を、側部要素2、3の長さの2分の1程ずらして取り付けて成る。その場合中間要素4は、固定ピン5を介し、側部要素2、3に完全に固定してしまってもよいし、若干あるいは自由に回動可能に軸支させることとしてもよい。通例、固定ピン5は隠れて露見しない。

図1(A)において中間要素4の上端部及び側部要素2、3の下端部に、横方向に貫ぬく連接用ピン(割ピン6又はネジピン6a)の挿入孔7が穿設される。また、側部要素2、3の裏面に、長さ方向に延びる溝8が形成される。

図2は、上記構成の駒1を多数、割ピン6等を用いて連接して形成される本発明に係る装飾コードを示すもので((A)は表面図、(B)は側面図、(C)は裏面図である。)、各駒1は、その突出する中間要素4を他の駒1の側部要素2、3間に挟み入れ、各要素の挿入孔7に割ピン6等を挿通することによって連接していく。

図5及び図6は、駒1に装飾性を付与する方法の例を示すもので、図5(A)は、中間要素4を金色にすると共に側部要素2、3を白金色にした例を示し、図5(B)は側部要素2、3に装飾模様を刻設した例を示し、また、図6(A)、(B)は各要素2〜4の表面側を甲丸カットした例を示す。勿論、駒1に装飾性を付与する方法は、これらに限定される訳ではなく、他にも種々考えられる。

【発明の効果】
本発明は上述した通りであって、本発明に係る装飾コードは、装飾性を備えた駒を連ねて構成され、導線類は駒の裏側又は中側に隠れるため、アクセサリーの如き装飾性を持った外観を呈するので、機器全体のファッション性を阻害するおそれがないだけでなく、装飾具としての機能を併せ持ち、手首装着型の通信機器のように、常時人目に晒されている機器に用いるコードとして好適である。
