【発明が解決しようとする課題】
しかし、上記した従来のディスプレイ装置において、例えば、特開平11−259009に開示されている構造では、既存の画像標示装置の外筐体に係合溝を設けてカバー材の係合突条部をスライド挿入するようにしているのでカバー材の着脱は容易になっているがバックライト、回路基盤、スピーカー、等の取り付けについては何の開示も無い。また、特開平11−258599号ではバックライト体を枠体に固定したバックライト構体に液晶セルの挿入溝を設けて液晶セルの挿入組み立てを容易にしたものであるが、光源の着脱が自在にできないという問題がある。従来からこれらの組み立て作業、あるいはメンテナンス作業に時間がかかるという問題があり、これらの問題を解決することが従来の課題となっていた。

【発明の作用】

尚、従来のディスプレイ装置のフレーム材においてはディスプレイ装置自体から発生する電磁波による障害(EMI)を低減する為の対策としてフレームの裏面にシールド材を蒸着若しくは貼り付けしていた為にコスト高となり、また、リサイクルも困難であったが、上述の如く組み立てた本発明の第一実施形態のディスプレイ装置においては、既述の通り基枠2を構成する上枠21、下枠22、左枠23および右枠24、また、ディスプレイ装置1の外周を囲う上カバー材31、下カバー材32および背面カバー材33、側面カバー材4はいずれも軽金属合金系の材料を用いているので、上下枠21、22と左右枠23、24との接合面や、上カバー材31および下カバー材32と背面カバー材33との接合面、および、上カバー材31、下カバー材32および背面カバー材33と側面カバー材4との接合面については塗膜を付与せずに接合することによってディスプレイ装置全体を一体の軽金属体で覆っていることとなり、構成素材自体の持つ高い電磁波シールド効果を活かしたEMI対策に極めて有効なディスプレイ装置を提供できるものであり、また、軽金属合金系の素材自体が極めてリサイクル性の高い素材であるから家電メーカーに要求される資源回収時の負担を軽減することも可能となるという大きな効果が得られるものである。また、例えば上下のカバー材31、32と背面カバー材33との接合について、先述の如く押出し形材を用い、且つ、嵌合による接合方式を用いることによって、ディスプレイ装置のフレームを構成するパーツを細分化することが可能であり、フレーム破損時の補修費を低減し、また、リサイクル時の製品分解や搬送が容易になるという効果をも得ることができるものである。
