Abstract

<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simple structure in which a cap can easily be opened or closed as in a conventional cap even if an upper end portion of a straw is jutting out from a bottle such as a PET bottle and the structure is not obstructive even if a straw is not used. <P>SOLUTION: The cap has a projecting portion (4) on the inside of the side of the cap and at the intermediate height of the cap. When the cap is closed, the projecting portion (4) and the opening portion (6) of a bottle come into close contact with each other, thereby pressing the opening portion (6) of the bottle. The projecting portion (4) corresponds to the top of a conventional cap and is a portion that is pressed against the bottle opening portion.
