Description

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a cap unit attached to a can mouth such as a petroleum can or a paint can, and is particularly suitable for a cap unit in which a cap with an elastic stopper piece is housed in a synthetic resin sealing member.
[Prior art]
As a conventional cap unit, as shown in Japanese Utility Model Laid-Open No. Hei 6-14056, a cap with elastic anchoring pieces having an upper wall that can be freely moved and a side wall formed by a large number of elastic anchoring pieces is injected. Some are formed by mounting in a synthetic resin sealing member having an upper wall and a side wall formed by molding. This cap unit has a convex portion on the entire inner periphery of the lower end portion of the side wall of the sealing member so that the cap with the elastic locking piece has a function of preventing separation and the cap with the elastic locking piece has a function of preventing spontaneous release. Yes. And in this cap unit, at the time of capping, the lower end of the elastic stopper piece of the cap with the elastic stopper piece is placed in direct contact with the upper end arc portion of the can mouth, and the upper surface of the cap unit is pressed. Thus, after the lower end of the elastic tacking piece is lowered while extending along the upper end arc part of the can mouth, the lower end of the elastic tacking piece enters the side wall recess of the can mouth and is locked.
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
However, according to such a conventional cap unit, the lower end of the elastic anchoring piece of the cap with the elastic anchoring piece is placed in direct contact with the upper end arc portion of the can mouth at the time of capping. If the center of the cap unit is greatly deviated from the center of the cap unit, the lower end of the elastic anchoring piece comes into contact with the portion where the inclination angle of the upper end arc portion of the can mouth is gentle, and from the upper surface of the cap unit. There is a possibility that the force to be pressed acts as a force for bending the elastic locking piece, and the elastic locking piece is bent.
The objective of this invention is providing the cap unit which can prevent the bending of the elastic fastening piece at the time of capping to a can mouth.
[Means for Solving the Problems]
In order to achieve the above object, the present invention provides an upper wall formed integrally by injection molding with a cap with an elastic locking piece having an upper wall that can be moved in and out and a side wall formed of a large number of elastic locking pieces. And a cap unit that is mounted in a synthetic resin sealing member having a side wall,
A configuration in which a can mouth id portion that protrudes inward from the side wall of the sealing member to lock the lower end of the elastic locking piece and extends further downward and outward from the lower end of the elastic locking piece is integrally provided. It is in that.
DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
Hereinafter, an embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to FIGS.
The synthetic resin sealing member 10 is manufactured by injection molding using a material having elasticity such as polyethylene, and an annular upper wall 11 and a cylindrical side wall 12 are integrally formed as shown in FIGS. ing. In this injection molding, an upper mold and a lower mold are fitted from above and below, the gap between them is filled with the material, the upper mold is pulled upward, and then the lower mold is pulled downward, thereby sealing member 10 is formed.
The upper wall 11 of the sealing member 10 has a circular space 11a at the center, and a ring-shaped knob 11b is formed along the circular space 11a.
The side wall 12 of the sealing member 10 includes a side wall main body portion 12a, a convex portion 12b, an undercut portion 12c, and a can mouth portion 12d. The side wall main body portion 12a extends from the upper wall 11 so as to fall substantially vertically, and has an inner diameter that is substantially the same as the outer diameter of the hanging portion 42a of the elastic locking piece 42 in the closed state.
The convex part 12b and the undercut part 12c are formed in the lower end part inner side of the side wall main-body part 12a alternately over the perimeter. The convex portion 12b is formed to have a wider width in the circumferential direction than the undercut portion 12c, thereby ensuring a necessary strength at the lower end portion of the side wall 12. The inner diameter of the convex portion 12b is set to be smaller than the outer diameter of the hanging portion 42a of the closed elastic locking piece 42 and slightly larger than the outer diameter of the can mouth. The undercut portion 12c is formed to extend to a position corresponding to the upper portion of the locking portion 42b of the elastic locking piece 42 above the convex portion 12b. At the lower end of the undercut portion 12c, the inclined surface 12c 1 is formed as a can opening Ido portion 12d of the cap unit 50 is expanded when fitted in the can opening 30 is housed.
The can mouth id portion 12d is formed so as to extend inward and downward from the upper end portion in the undercut portion 12c, and has a width slightly narrower than the width of the undercut portion 12c. The width of the can mouth id portion 12d is formed larger than the gap between the elastic tacking pieces 42, thereby preventing the can mouth id portion 12d from entering the gap between the elastic tacking pieces 42 and losing its function. It has become so. Outer surface of the can opening Id unit 12d, two inclined surfaces 12d 1, 12d 2 and is formed to be inclined inwardly downwards, positioned between the side wall main body portion 12a and the can opening id portion 12d at the time of injection molding by this The lower mold can be pulled downward. The inner surface of the can opening Id unit 12d, and the inclined surface 12d 3 which is inclined inwardly downwards, the inclined surface 12d 4 are formed to be inclined outwardly downward from the lower end of the inclined surface 12d 3. The lower end of the elastic鉤止piece 42 is engaged with the inclined surface 12d 3. The lower end of the can opening id portion 12d which is formed by the inclined surface 12d 2 and the inclined surface 12d 4 is formed to be slightly positioned above the lower end of the protrusion 12b. That is, the can mouth id portion 12 d is formed without protruding outward from the space formed by the upper wall 11 and the side wall 12.
As shown in FIGS. 1 and 2, the packing 20 is formed in a disc shape larger than the inner diameter at the lower end of the closed elastic fastening piece 42 and is housed in a cap 40 with an elastic fastening piece. Yes. The packing 20 is configured by combining a thin aluminum foil packing and a thick paper packing, but a synthetic resin packing may be used.
A can mouth 30 forming a part of a 4 liter can or an 18 liter can has an upper end arc portion 31 that forms an inlet / outlet for contents and a side wall recess 32 that engages a lower end of the elastic tacking piece 42. Configured. The outer surface of the upper end arc portion 31 is steeply inclined from the uppermost end to the lower outer side, and the inclination is extremely gentle in the vicinity of the uppermost end.
The cap 40 with metal elastic tacking pieces such as tinplate is configured to include an upper wall 41 that can freely move in and out and an elastic tacking piece 42 that can be opened and closed. The elastic locking piece 42 includes a hanging portion 42a that extends almost vertically in a closed state, and a locking portion 42b that extends inward and downward from the lower end of the hanging portion 42a.
The cap unit 50 is configured by mounting a cap 40 with elastic tacking pieces in the sealing member 10.
Next, a method for producing the cap unit 50 and a method for capping the can mouth 30 will be described.
First, the packing 20 is inserted into the cap 40 with the elastic locking piece in the expanded state, and the cap 40 with the elastic locking piece is closed. The cap 40 with the elastic stopper piece in the closed state is inserted into the sealing member 10 using the elasticity of the convex portion 12b and the can mouth id portion 12d to form the cap unit 50 as shown in FIG. Thus, the cap unit 50 is formed in order to facilitate the transportation and supply operation to the can mouth.
In this cap unit 50, the cap 40 with the elastic tacking piece is held between the can mouth id portion 12d and the upper wall 11, and is thereby securely and stably held. In particular, the can mouth id portion 12d is slightly deformed and locked to the lower end portion of the elastic tacking piece 42 in a state having an appropriate elasticity, so that the inclined surface of the can mouth id portion 12d and the lower surface of the upper wall 11 Is securely and stably held between the two.
After filling the can with contents such as oil or paint, the cap unit 50 is automatically supplied to the upper portion of the can mouth 30 by the cap unit supply device. At this time, since the can mouth part 12d is accommodated in the space formed by the upper wall 11 and the side wall 12, the cap unit 50 can be automatically supplied without changing the existing cap unit supply device.
Next, the cap unit 50 is lowered by the capping device and placed on the can mouth 30. At this time, it is desirable to place the can 30 so that the center of the can 30 and the center of the cap unit 50 coincide as much as possible. The cap unit 50 in the placed state is in a state where the lower end of the can mouth id portion 12 d of the sealing member 10 is in contact with the upper end arc portion 31 of the can mouth 30.
Further, the capping device is lowered and the upper surface of the cap unit 50 (specifically, the upper surface of the upper wall 11 of the sealing member 10) is pressed to lower the cap unit 50. At this time, since the can mouth id portion 12d operates so as to have a guide function with respect to the upper end arc portion 31, the cap unit 50 can be smoothly lowered. When the cap unit 50 is further lowered, the lower end of the elastic locking piece 42 comes into contact with the upper end arc portion 31 and is lowered while expanding along the inclined surface of the upper end arc portion 31, and is locked to the side wall recess 32. This completes capping.
At the time of this capping, even if the center 30a of the can mouth 30 and the center 50a of the cap unit 50 are greatly eccentric as shown in FIG. The lower end of the mouth portion 12d abuts the can mouth 30 to guide the eccentric dimension δ so that the eccentric dimension δ becomes smaller, and then the lower end of the elastic tacking piece 42 abuts the can mouth 30. Thereby, it can prevent that the latching | locking part 42b of the elastic locking piece 42 bends inside.
【The invention's effect】
According to the cap unit of the present invention, it is possible to prevent the elastic tacking piece from being bent when capping the can mouth.
