以下、本発明の一実施例を、図１〜４により説明する。照明器具の反射板４に、リセットスイッチ７を操作する、細長い棒状のリセット工具１が挿入できる小穴６を、ランプ団ご至近した（真上）位置に設ける。リセットスイッチ７は、小穴６より差し込んだリセット工具１で操作可能な位置の器具本体３の内部に設け、リセット工具１でリセットスイッチ７の操作が行なえるよう取り付けておく。リセットスイッチ７の操作は、ランプ５の寿命によりランプ５交換する時であるので、ランプを外した時にランプ５を使用し、リセットスイッチ７の操作を行い、照明器具使用時には、ランプ５が装着されているので、リセット工具１を差し込めないので、誤操作することがない。以上により、リセットスイッチ７の操作部が照明器具の外郭より露出せず、ランプ５を取り外し後、小穴６にリセット工具１を差し込んで、リセットスイッチ７の操作が行えるので、反射板４を外してリセットスイッチ７を操作する必要がなく、意匠性・操作性の改善と誤操作を無くすことが出来る。
