以下、本発明の一実施例を、図1〜4により説明する。照明器具の反射板4に、リセットスイッチ7を操作する、細長い棒状のリセット工具1が挿入できる小穴6を、ランプ団ご至近した(真上)位置に設ける。リセットスイッチ7は、小穴6より差し込んだリセット工具1で操作可能な位置の器具本体3の内部に設け、リセット工具1でリセットスイッチ7の操作が行なえるよう取り付けておく。リセットスイッチ7の操作は、ランプ5の寿命によりランプ5交換する時であるので、ランプを外した時にランプ5を使用し、リセットスイッチ7の操作を行い、照明器具使用時には、ランプ5が装着されているので、リセット工具1を差し込めないので、誤操作することがない。以上により、リセットスイッチ7の操作部が照明器具の外郭より露出せず、ランプ5を取り外し後、小穴6にリセット工具1を差し込んで、リセットスイッチ7の操作が行えるので、反射板4を外してリセットスイッチ7を操作する必要がなく、意匠性・操作性の改善と誤操作を無くすことが出来る。
