Description

【0001】

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a movable grip in which a grip portion in a digital camera, a compact camera, a single-lens reflex camera, a video camera, or the like is movable.
[0002]
[Prior art]
Some exterior members such as digital cameras, compact cameras, single-lens reflex cameras, and video cameras have a movable grip. In addition, there is a switch that performs ON / OFF switching of the power source depending on the position of the movable grip. Conventional movable grips are only attached to the front exterior surface.
[0003]
On the other hand, there is also a camera provided with a movable grip that is rotatable from the side surface position to the rear surface position of the camera body (for example, see Patent Document 1). In view of the fact that the size and thickness of camera bodies are being reduced in order to increase the camera's portability, this technology has been extremely reduced in size and thickness, making it easier to use the camera grip. Is to improve the worsening. In other words, the grip function can be secured by making the grip rotatable and projecting to the side of the camera. This technique has a problem in that the design property is impaired as a result of focusing on miniaturization and portability of a digital camera having a monitor device and a finder optical system. This technique also includes a grip switch that turns the power on and off according to the position of the grip.

Japanese Patent Laid-Open No. 11-15072 (see paragraph (0006))
[0005]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
An object of the present invention is to provide a technique for forming the structure of the movable grip into a shape that can more easily hold the camera.
[0006]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
The present invention has been made to solve the above-described problems, and is a movable grip characterized by taking the following technical means. That is, the present invention is a grip that is provided on the front side of the camera and moves laterally, and is provided at a position where the sliding surface of the grip is recessed from the front exterior surface of the camera. The movable grip is characterized in that a groove is formed between the front exterior and the end face of the movable grip.
[0007]
In addition, it is preferable that the movable grip line and the camera front exterior line are configured to be the same because the appearance is excellent.
[0008]
Note that it is preferable to provide a non-slip material or non-slip unevenness on the bottom surface of the groove because the camera can be easily and reliably held.
[0009]
A normal interlocking mechanism in which the lateral movement of the grip and the power on / off of the camera are interlocked, for example, a grip switch may be provided.
[0010]
DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
Embodiments of the present invention will be described below with reference to the drawings. 1 and 2 are cross-sectional views of the embodiment of the present invention, and are explanatory views showing the relationship between the movable grip 10 and the camera body 1. The movable grip 10 is provided on the front 2 side of the camera body 1 and moves laterally.
[0011]
FIG. 1 shows a state where the movable grip 10 is moved to the side surface 5 side of the camera body 1 and shows a grip gripping state. FIG. 2 is a diagram in which the movable grip 10 is returned to a non-use state. There is a step between the exterior surface of the front surface 2 of the camera body 1 and the surface 4 on which the movable grip 10 slides, and the surface 4 on which the slide movement is performed is recessed from the exterior surface of the front surface 2 of the camera body 1. When the movable grip 10 moves to the side surface 5 side of the camera 1, the moving distance 3 is set to such a width that the tip of the finger holding the grip enters the groove to be formed. And it is preferable to prevent the finger from slipping on the bottom portion of the groove, that is, the surface 4 on which the grip slides. The anti-slip material may be an elastic sheet or the like with a large friction such as rubber, or may be roughened such as knurling, or may be processed with unevenness such as embossing.
[0012]
The side surfaces 11 and 12 of the movable grip 10 are made to coincide with the exterior line (side surface of the groove) 7 on the side surface 5 or the front surface 2 of the camera so as to keep the aesthetics of the design. That is, the line 11 on the side surface 11 of the movable grip 10 is the same as the line 7 on the exterior surface of the camera front surface 2 at the non-photographing position, and the line on the side surface 12 outside the movable grip and the line on the camera side surface 5 are Try to match.
[0013]
Although not shown, in the present invention as well, it is preferable to provide an interlocking mechanism such as a grip switch that interlocks the lateral movement of the grip and the power on / off of the camera, as is normally done.
[0014]
【The invention's effect】
Since the movable grip of the present invention is configured as described above, when the camera is held in a photographing state, an appropriate finger can be caught, the finger does not slip, and the grip holding property is remarkably improved. Further, when the camera is not in use, the front exterior line of the camera and the side line of the movable grip coincide with each other, so that the appearance is good and the storage property can be improved.
