本発明はレンズ付きフイルムユニットに関するものであり、さらに詳しくは、レンズ付きフイルムユニットの本体基部への前カバーと後カバーの取り付けに関するものである。

写真フイルムとパトローネとが予め装填され、簡単な撮影機構が組み込まれたレンズ突きフイルムユニットが本出願人より製造販売されている。このレンズ付きフイルムユニットは、撮影レンズやシャッタ機構、フイルム巻き止め機構、ファインダ光学系等がユニット化された露光ユニットと、この露光ユニットが前面に取り付けられるとともに写真フイルムが装填される本体基部と、この本体基部を覆うように取り付けられる外カバーである前カバー及び後カバーとから構成される。

使用済みレンズ付きフイルムユニットは、製造メーカーによって回収され、構成部品ごとリユース又はリサイクルされる。このように、リサイクル等を前提としてレンズ付きフイルムユニットは製造されているため、回収後、分解できるように前カバー及び後カバーは本体基部に爪止めで取り付けられている。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
しかしながら、前カバー及び後カバーに設けた爪と本体基部の爪とを係合させ、爪止めすると、レンズ付きフイルムユニットを分解する際、前カバー及び後カバーに形成された爪を本体基部から一ヶ所ずつ外す必要があり労力がかかった。また、爪を形成するために金型が複雑になり、コストアップの要因となっていた。

【課題を解決するための手段】
上記目的を達成するために、本発明のレンズ付きフイルムユニットは、レンズ付きフイルムユニットの本体基部に外カバーに向かって突出した突起を一体に形成し、外カバーに突起が嵌合するように形成された開口を設け、この開口に嵌合させた突起を溶融することによって本体基部と外カバーを結合させたものである。

従来は、前カバー１７と後カバー１８はそれぞれ爪結合によって本体基部１５に取り付けられていた。しかし、本発明のように、前カバー１７と後カバー１８を本体基部に結合させるようにすれば、従来の爪結合で用いられていた爪を設ける必要がなくなる。つまり、金型を製作する上で、比較的、困難な箇所である爪を作る必要がなくなる。爪の代わりに、かしめ結合に利用される単純な形状をした突起と、その突起が貫入できるだけの開口を作るだけなので、金型構造を単純にすることができ、金型製作に費やす時間を短縮することができる。さらに、成形した場合、従来の金型構造であれば、成形された爪にはバリが発生しやすかった。しかし、本発明のレンズ付きフイルムユニットにおいては、爪を設ける必要がないため、爪に発生するバリを気にする必要がなく、成形品の検査も行い易くなる。以上のことから、製造の効率化を図ることができる。

【発明の効果】
以上のように、本発明のレンズ付きフイルムユニットによれば、本体基部に外カバーを取り付ける工程において、本体基部に中空の突起を設け、外カバーに前記突起が貫入可能な開口を設け、開口に貫入させた突起を溶融することでかしめ頭を形成し、外カバーを本体基部の外壁とかしめ頭を利用してかしめたので、外カバーを取り外す際には、かしめ頭を破壊する程度の外力を外カバーに加えることで、容易に外カバーを外すことが可能となる。また、前記突起をカートリッジ室またはフイルムロール室に設けた場合、かしめ頭が破壊されると、カートリッジ室またはフイルムロール室の遮光性が損なわれるので、レンズ付きフイルムユニットの再使用を防止することができる。
