本発明は、飲料水やジュース等の容器として広く使用されている、ペットボトルの蓋（キャップ、以下キャップという）を外した後にキャップを一時、保持できるようしたキャップホルダーに関するものである。

【従来の技術】
既に出願公開されているキャップの場合には、キャップ本体を回せる回転機構を設けず、直接連結帯でキャップ本体をボトル側で支持するリングと結合させているために、キャップを回す回転が連結帯を伝わり、キャップを支持するリングまでもが回転してしまう。さらに、開ける時にはキャップ本体は持ち上がるために、連結帯はその分の長さを最低限必要とするが、連結帯の弾力性が弱い場合には、キャップを開閉する時に連結帯がキャップ側面を絡むように、遅れてリングに回転を伝えることになり開閉しづらく、また飲む時にはキャップが口元あるいは、頬に当たる。上記とは逆に連結帯の弾力性が強い場合には、キャップを開けてもキャップが注ぎ口から離れない。この場合、連結帯を指に挟んで飲むようになっている。（特許文献１参照）

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
従来、飲料水やジュース等の容器として広く使用されているペットボトルは、キャップを仮り置きできる保持機構がないために、直接ペットボトルから飲用する場合、外したキャップを置く適当な場所がなく、手に持っているか近くに置いておくしかなかった。あるいはキャップを注ぎ口に戻して、飲用するたびにキャップを外していた。

請求項１記載の発明は図１に示すように、キャップ（５）を着脱自在に保持できるように形成されたキャップ保持部（１ａ）を設けると共に、このキャップ保持部（１ａ）をペットボトル本体（４）に巻かれたフィルム状のラベル（３）とペットボトル本体（４）側面の間に、差し込み支持できるように形成された差し込み部（２）を設け、前記ラベル（３）がペットボトル本体（４）側面に密着する力により、キャップ保持部（１ａ）を差し込み部（２）で支持できるように構成されていることを特徴とするものである。
