Claims (3)

 駆動源から駆動力を得て回転する発熱ローラと、一部に欠落部を有する略半割構造であって、前記発熱ローラの外周を包むように支持する軸受とを備え、前記発熱ローラが記録材を加熱することによって記録材に転写されたトナー画像を前記記録材上に定着させる定着装置において、前記軸受が前記発熱ローラの外周における180°以上の部分を支持し、前記軸受の欠落部の最短隙間は前記発熱ローラの直径よりも小さく、前記軸受の少なくとも一方の端部は、前記軸受に組み付けられた状態の前記発熱ローラと対向する面に段部または凹部を有し、この段部または凹部から前記発熱ローラの中心軸までの距離は前記発熱ローラの半径より長いことを特徴とする定着装置。 A heating roller that rotates by obtaining a driving force from a driving source; and a bearing that has a substantially half structure having a cutout in a part and that supports the heating roller so as to wrap the outer circumference of the heating roller.
