以下本発明の実施の形態を図面を参照して説明する。
図1は本発明に係る画像形成装置の第1実施形態の要部である帯電チャージャユニット周りの概略構成を示す斜視図である。図示のように、ベルト状の感光体ユニット1の下側に帯電チャージャユニット2が配してあり、帯電チャージャユニット2の内部には、放電を行うための放電ワイヤ3が設けてある。

放電ワイヤ3の両端には、放電ワイヤ3と同期して回転を行うことが可能な回転伝達装置を構成するワイヤ歯車4がそれぞれ設けてある。また放電ワイヤ3には清掃部材5が接触させて設けてある。清掃部材5は、固定材6に固定してあり、固定部材6は、溝(図示せず)付きの穴6aが設けてある。なお、回転伝達装置としては図示のような歯車列だけでなく、摩擦車列、巻き掛け伝道装置等々種々公知の手段を採用可能である。
