Description

【0001】

TECHNICAL FIELD OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a fuel injection valve for an internal combustion engine, and more particularly, to a fuel injection valve capable of suppressing damage to a coil during resin molding.
[0002]
[Prior art]
Recently, miniaturization and expansion of the dynamic range of the electromagnetic fuel injection valve have been issues. That is, it is an object to reduce the size in order to improve the mountability, and to expand the dynamic range by shortening the opening and closing time of the injection valve so as to sufficiently cope with low to high engine speeds. As shown in FIG. 4, a fuel injection valve developed for such a purpose includes a sleeve 3 and an outlet which are press-fitted and fixed to an inlet side (upper side in the figure) of a cylindrical magnetic core in a fixed core 2. A movable core 5 (movable valve body) of a magnetic material and a spring 6 are disposed between the valve seat 4 and the valve seat 4 which is press-fitted and fixed to the side (lower side in the figure). A synthetic resin bobbin 8 around which a coil 7 is wound is fitted around the outer periphery of the central portion of the housing 2, and a magnetic outer core 22 for forming a magnetic circuit is provided outside the coil 7. An upper body is formed by molding, and insulation is ensured to form the fuel injection valve 21 (for example, Patent Document 1).
[0003]
[Patent Document 1]
JP-A-2002-48031 (page 3,
[0017]
[0004]
A resin is injected into the gap between the coil 7 and the outer core 22 at the time of resin molding in order to secure insulation. Further, the gap between the coil 7 and the outer core 22 is required to be as small as possible in order to reduce the size of the injection valve. The gate for resin injection is provided at the location indicated by arrow B.
[0005]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
However, in order to reduce the size, it is necessary to make the gap between the coil and the outer core as small as possible. If the gap is made small, the flowability of the resin during resin molding is reduced, and the resin may not be sufficiently distributed and insulation may not be secured. There is. If a sufficient gap is provided to ensure the fluidity, it is not possible to secure the miniaturization of the injection valve. Accordingly, it is an object of the present invention to provide a fuel injection valve capable of ensuring both insulation between a coil and an outer core and miniaturization.
[0006]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
The invention according to claim 1, which has been made to solve the above-mentioned problem, is a fuel injection valve configured to cover an outer periphery of a coil with an outer core having one opening, and to coat and mold the outer core outer periphery with a resin mold. Characterized in that at least one gas vent hole is provided in the cylindrical portion. The invention according to claim 2 is characterized in that a resin injection gate at the time of the resin molding of the fuel injection valve is provided in front of the gas vent hole.
[0007]
[Action]
As described above, according to the first aspect of the present invention, during resin molding, gas accumulated in the gap between the coil and the outer core flows out of the outer core through the gas vent hole provided in the outer core, so that the fluidity of the resin is improved and the resin is small. The gap is also filled. Since the gap can be made smaller than before, the size of the fuel injection valve can be reduced. According to the second aspect of the invention, the resin injected from the gate flows directly from the gas vent hole into the gap between the coil and the outer core, so that the resin is more easily filled into the small gap. Since the clearance can be reduced by that amount, the size of the fuel injection valve can be further reduced.
[0008]
BEST MODE FOR CARRYING OUT THE INVENTION
A preferred embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings. FIG. 1 is a longitudinal sectional view of a fuel injection valve according to one embodiment of the present invention, and FIG. 2 is a longitudinal sectional view, a bottom view, and a side view of the outer core. 1 and 2, a sleeve 3 is press-fitted and fixed to an inlet side (upper side in the figure) of a cylindrical magnetic body in a fixed core 2, and a valve seat 4 is provided to an outlet side (lower side in the figure). Is press-fitted and fixed. A magnetic movable core 5 (movable valve element) and a spring 6 are incorporated between the fixed core 2 and the valve seat 4. One end of the movable core 5 is pressed by a spring 6 abutting on the sleeve 3, and Close the valve in contact. A bobbin 8 made of a synthetic resin around which a coil 7 is wound is fitted around the outer periphery of a central portion of the housing 2, and a magnetic outer core 9 for forming a magnetic circuit is provided outside the coil 7. The body 10 is formed by the mold, insulation is secured, and the fuel injection valve 1 is configured.
[0009]
The outer core 9 is formed in a semi-cylindrical shape with one opening. A gas vent hole 9a is formed at a position corresponding to the coil of the cylindrical portion of the outer core 9. The size of the gas vent hole 9a is experimentally obtained as large as possible as long as the magnetic force in the magnetic circuit formed is not reduced as compared with the conventional product. A resin is injected into the gap between the coil 7 and the outer core 9 at the time of resin molding in order to secure insulation. In addition, the gap between the coil 7 and the outer core 9 is required to be as small as possible in order to reduce the size of the injection valve. The position of the gate for injecting the resin is indicated by arrow B.
[0010]
Next, a second embodiment of the present invention will be described. FIG. 3 is a vertical sectional view, a bottom view, and a side view of an outer core of a fuel injection valve according to a second embodiment of the present invention. In FIG. 3, three gas vent holes 11 a are formed in the cylindrical portion of the outer core 11. The size of the gas vent hole 11a is determined experimentally as large as possible as long as the magnetic force in the magnetic circuit to be formed is not reduced as compared with the conventional product. By increasing the number of gas vent holes 9a (see FIG. 2), the fluidity of the resin is further improved, and the gap between the coil 7 (see FIG. 1) and the outer core 9 (see FIG. 1) can be easily filled. . Note that the other functions are the same as those of the first embodiment, and a description thereof will be omitted.
[0011]
Next, a third embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to FIG. Arrow A indicates the gate position of the fuel injection valve according to the third embodiment of the present invention. Since the other functions are the same as those of the first and second embodiments except for the position of the gate, the description is omitted. In the gate position arrow B according to the first and second embodiments, the addition of the gas vent hole 9a to the outer core 9 also improves the injection property into the gap. However, as in the present embodiment, the gas vent hole 9a has By arranging the gate on the front, the resin is directly injected into the gap, so that the injection property is dramatically improved.
[0012]
【The invention's effect】
The present invention has the following effects because it is configured as described above. That is, according to the first aspect of the present invention, at the time of resin molding, gas accumulated in the gap between the coil and the outer core flows out of the outer core through the gas vent hole provided in the outer core to improve the fluidity of the resin, so that the resin can be easily removed even in a small gap. , The insulation of the coil is improved and the gap can be made small, so that the fuel injection valve can be downsized. According to the second aspect of the present invention, the resin injected from the gate flows directly from the gas vent hole into the gap between the coil and the outer core. As a result, the insulation of the coil is improved and the gap can be reduced, so that the size of the fuel injection valve can be further reduced.
