Description

【0001】

TECHNICAL FIELD OF THE INVENTION
TECHNICAL FIELD The present invention relates to an outside light device suitable for use as a car stop, a stone lantern, or the like, which is installed to restrict entry of a vehicle on a road or a park.
[0002]
[Prior art]
On roads, parks, and the like, a vehicle stop is often installed to restrict the vehicle from entering a predetermined place. This type of bogie is generally made of a stone block, and many of them have a lighting device attached so as to be prominent even at night. 2. Description of the Related Art Conventionally, as a lighting device provided in a vehicle stop of this type, a lighting device provided with a solar cell, a storage battery, and a light emitting element (LED) has been tried.
[0003]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
A lighting device using a solar cell as a power source is convenient because it is not necessary to draw an electric wire from an external power pole, but a storage battery of a conventional lighting device has a life of about 200 to 500 charge / discharge cycles. In addition to the need to replace the battery every two to three years, it requires maintenance such as replenishment of the charge solution and adjustment of the specific gravity, and since it contains heavy metals such as lead and cadmium, there is no problem of pollution. As described above, there is a problem in that it takes time and effort to collect the end of life.
[0004]
In addition, since it is necessary to use a capacitor having a sufficient capacity in consideration of cloudy weather, rainy weather, and the like, there is a problem that the apparatus is large-scale and expensive. Accordingly, an object of the present invention is to provide an external light device having a compact and simple structure that does not require maintenance like a conventional lighting device, can be used continuously for a long time, and does not cause secondary pollution. .
[0005]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
In order to solve the above problems, the present invention has the following configuration. That is, the external light device according to the present invention includes a lantern-shaped or block-shaped main body made of stone or the like, a solar cell, an electric double-layer capacitor for charging the power of the solar cell, and light output by the output of the electric double-layer capacitor. And a lighting device provided with an LED.
[0006]
It is preferable to use a lighting device in which a solar cell, an electric double layer capacitor, and an LED are integrally assembled. Further, in order to make the device robust, it is preferable to provide a concave portion in the main body, and fit and fix the lighting device in the concave portion. In this case, the solar cell and the LED may be installed so as to face the outside.
[0007]
BEST MODE FOR CARRYING OUT THE INVENTION
Hereinafter, embodiments of the present invention will be specifically described. 1 and the following drawings each show a specific example of an external light device according to the present invention. The external light device 1 has a lighting device 3 attached to a main body 2 made of a stone material such as granite. In the embodiment shown in FIG. 1, a rectangular concave portion 2 a is provided on a side surface of a cylindrical main body 2, and a rectangular illumination device 3 is fitted into the concave portion 2 a.
[0008]
The lighting device 3 is provided with a rectangular light-emitting body 5 made of an LED at the center of the surface of the box 4, and a solar cell 7 is arranged around the light-emitting body 5 in a frame shape. FIG. 2 is an external view of the lighting device 3, and FIG. 3 is a block diagram showing the configuration of the lighting device 3. An electric double layer capacitor 10 is provided between a solar cell 7 and an LED (light emitting body) 5. The solar cell 7 is provided with a plurality of solar cell modules arranged side by side, and is provided such that the electric double layer capacitor 10 can be charged with required electric power in anticipation of cloudy weather or rainy weather.
[0009]
In FIG. 3, reference numeral 12 denotes a backflow prevention diode, and reference numeral 13 denotes an overvoltage protection circuit. The overvoltage protection circuit shuts off the output of the solar cell 7 when the overcharge voltage of the solar cell 7 is reached. Reference numeral 25 denotes a load control circuit for controlling the power supplied to the LED 5. For example, when the surroundings become dark after sunset, the output of the solar cell 7 is detected to decrease and the energization of the LED 5 is started. When the output of the solar cell 7 returns to a predetermined value or more, the LED 5 is turned off. Cut off the current. For this reason, it is convenient to emit no light while the surroundings are bright, but to emit light after dark.
[0010]
The illuminating device 3 is fitted into a rectangular recess 2a formed on the side surface of the main body 2 and fixed by a suitable fixing means such as a screw or an adhesive. Conventionally, in the case of a lighting device using a solar cell, the solar cell is installed with the solar cell facing upward so that sunlight is well irradiated. However, in the case of the lighting device 3, as shown in FIG. Therefore, various decorations such as headdress stones can be applied to the upper surface 2b of the main body 2. Further, it is also possible to make the upper surface 2b of the main body flat and make a table on which objects can be placed.
[0011]
Although the main body 2 of the exterior light device of FIG. 1 is cylindrical, it may be formed in a prismatic shape as shown in FIG. In addition, in the embodiment of FIGS. 1 and 4, the lighting device 3 is provided on the side surface of the main body 2. However, as in the external light device 30 shown in FIG. Can be fitted, a plurality of columns 33,... Are erected around the column, and a cap 35 can be provided thereon. In this case, it is preferable to increase the distance between the lighting device 3 and the cap 35 to some extent so that sufficient light reaches the solar cell 7. Also in this embodiment, the upper surface of the cap 35 can be flat, or it can be decorated such as engraving.
[0012]
FIG. 6 shows a further different embodiment, in which an outside lamp device 40 of this embodiment has a hollow portion 43 provided inside a prismatic (or may be cylindrical) main body 42 and a concave portion provided on the bottom surface of the hollow portion. The lighting device 3 is fitted into 43a. The side surface of the hollow portion 43 is an opening 46 in a window shape, from which natural light irradiates the solar cell 7. Light from the light emitter 5 is also radiated from the opening 46 to the outside.
[0013]
FIG. 7 shows an exterior light device 50 used as a curb or the like of a road. The exterior light device 50 is provided with a through hole 52 in a front-rear direction in a main body 51, and a lighting device 53 is fitted into the through hole 52. It is fixed. GL in the figure represents the ground level. This lighting device 53 is provided with a pair of cat-like circular light-emitting bodies 55 on the front and rear surfaces of a box 54, respectively. The upper surface 56 of the box 54 is a solar cell unit. The exterior light device 50 is easily visible because the cat-like light-emitting body (LED) 55 shines, and is suitable for being installed as a curb of a road, a curb of a rotary, a curb of a central separator, or the like.
[0014]
FIG. 8 shows an external light device 60 suitable for use as a ground flasher. This external light device 60 is provided with a circular annular groove 62 in the upper part of a columnar main body 61 and an upper part thereof. A circular lighting device 63 is fitted. The illuminating device 63 has a cylindrical casing in which a solar cell and an LED are arranged facing outward, and a light emitting unit LED is provided at a central portion, and solar cells are provided on both left and right sides thereof.
[0015]
As described above, examples of the external light device used for various applications are given. However, the external light device of the present invention uses the solar cell 7 as a power source, and it is not necessary to supply electric power by drawing an electric wire from the outside. And can be installed at any location. In addition, since charging is performed using the electric double layer capacitor, the life is long and maintenance can be omitted. Further, since the solar cell and the luminous body are integrated, the internal structure of the device is simple and compact.
[0016]
In the conventional solar cell type lighting device, in order to electrically connect a solar cell and a light emitting device on site, it was necessary to check the light emitting state on site after installation, but in the above embodiment, Since the solar cell and the luminous body are integrated, there is an advantage that not only the performance can be checked in advance, but also the operation can be checked even at the design stage. In addition, when a conventional solar cell type lighting device is incorporated into this type of external lighting device, it is difficult to repair the line connecting the solar cell and the luminous body if there is a defect. By doing so, if there is a defect, it can be easily replaced.
[0017]
Further, the lighting device used in the present invention does not need to be installed upward on the upper surface of the main body 2 and can be installed on the side surface portion, the hollow portion, or the like of the main body as shown in the illustrated example. It is hard to cause deterioration of charging performance and lighting performance due to dirt. In addition, since it is not necessary to worry about the installation place and the installation direction, it is extremely convenient in practical use.
[0018]
【The invention's effect】
As described above, the external light device according to the present invention is provided with the lighting device using a solar cell as a power supply, and is automatically turned on when it becomes dark, so that its presence is clearly recognized even at night. Therefore, it is suitable for use as a vehicle stop or the like. In addition, since an electric double layer capacitor is used as a charging device for charging the power of the solar cell, it can be charged in a short time, does not require special maintenance, and is robust. Since this electric double layer capacitor is composed of carbon and an aqueous solution, there is no risk of causing a pollution problem due to heavy metals and the like even when discarded after use. In the above description, an example in which this external light device is used for a car stop has been described. However, it is needless to say that the external light device can be used for various uses such as garden ornaments.
