従来、電子機器本体に取り付けられる二次電池を収納した電池パックは上蓋と下蓋とから構成され、前記二次電池と該電池を保護する保護回路とともに収納配置される。電子機器本体は携帯するようなものであると一層、小型、薄型を要求されるため同様な要求は電池パックにまで及ぶことになる。そこで電池パックの内部の部品の配置を一層工夫することが要求される。特に電池を複数採用する場合に充分な配置の工夫を要求される。

そこで、この発明の課題は特に複数の角形電池を採用する場合、使用する保護回路基盤を小さくし、重ね合わせた複数の電池の側部に電気的に絶縁状態で移動することなく前記保護回路基盤を配置して小型、薄型に貢献しようとする電池パックの部品配置構造を提供するものである。

重ね合わせた角形電池の側部に該側部と同様な寸法に形成した保護回路基盤を両面接着機能があって電気的絶縁性ある接着シートで貼り付けて配置すると整然とした配置構造が実現でき小型、薄型に貢献できる。

以下、この発明の一実施形態を図1、図2に基づいて説明する、1はプラスチック製の開口した下蓋で、該下蓋1は図示しない上蓋とで電池パックを構成する。2は角形の二次電池で、複数個を重ね合わせたものである。この電池2の側部には電池2を電気的に保護する保護回路基盤3が側部と同様寸法で配置される。側部と前記保護回路基盤3とは両面接着シート4で接着され固定される。前記両面接着シート4は電気的絶縁性を有している。従って、電池2の周囲はプラス極であっても保護回路基盤との電気的絶縁性は充分保てる。
