TECHNICAL FIELD OF THE INVENTION
The invention belongs to the technical field of feeding webs to their processing equipment. In particular, the present invention relates to a web feeding method and apparatus capable of suppressing fluctuations in tension even when a web winding body is eccentrically rotated at high speed.
[0002]
[Prior art]
Processing of a web is often performed in several stages. In each case, the web is unwound from the winding body and after processing has been wound up again to form a winding body. Depending on the type of processing of the web, aging may be performed in the state of the wound body after the processing is performed. Aging is a process in which a winding body is placed in a predetermined environment and a predetermined period elapses. For example, it is performed in order to promote a physicochemical reaction in the film formed on the web to stabilize the characteristics of the film.
[0003]
During this aging period, the wound body may be deformed and eccentric due to its own weight (see FIG. 5). The eccentric winding body causes the web tension to fluctuate when unwinding in the next processing step (see FIG. 6). Conventionally, feedback control is performed as a method of suppressing the fluctuation of the web tension. For example, a dancer roller is installed between a portion of the web feeding device where the winding body is unwound and the feed roller, and the braking force of the shaft of the winding body is adjusted so that the position (angle) of the dancer roller is within a predetermined range. By controlling, fluctuation of the web tension is suppressed.
[0004]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
However, with the recent increase in machine speed, in the conventional web tension feedback control using dancer rollers, desired control cannot be performed due to a control response delay or the like. Increasing the machine speed may eventually cause hunting and amplify tension fluctuations. When the fluctuation of the web tension becomes large, quality deterioration due to plastic deformation of the web and hindrance to operation stop due to web breakage are caused. Therefore, when unwinding the eccentric winding body, low-speed operation is inevitable so that the fluctuation of the web tension does not increase, which causes a reduction in production efficiency.
[0005]
The present invention has been made to solve the above problems. An object of the present invention is to provide a web feeding method and apparatus capable of suppressing fluctuations in web tension due to eccentricity of a winding body even in high-speed operation.
[0006]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
The above problems are solved by the present invention described below. That is,
In the web feeding method according to the first aspect of the present invention, the change in the tension of the web due to the eccentricity of the winding body is caused by reciprocating the unwinding position of the web in the winding direction of the web. This is to suppress it. According to the present invention, a direct operation of reciprocating the unwinding position of the web on the winding body in the unwinding direction of the web is performed. Therefore, there is provided a web feeding method capable of suppressing fluctuations in web tension due to eccentricity of the winding body even in high-speed operation.
[0007]
A web feeding method according to a second aspect of the present invention is the web feeding method according to the first aspect, wherein the reciprocating motion is a reciprocating motion synchronized with the rotation of the winding body. According to the present invention, since the reciprocating motion is synchronized with the rotation, problems such as control response delay can be avoided, and thus the present invention is very suitable for high-speed operation.
[0008]
The web feeding device according to a third aspect of the present invention includes a driving unit for reciprocating an unwinding position of the web on the winding body in the unwinding direction of the web, and a control unit for controlling the driving unit. Further, a variation in the tension of the web due to the eccentricity of the winding body is suppressed. According to the present invention, a direct operation of reciprocating the unwinding position of the web winding body in the web unwinding direction by the control means and the driving means is performed. Therefore, there is provided a web feeding device capable of suppressing fluctuations in web tension due to eccentricity of the winding body even in high-speed operation.
[0009]
The web feeder according to claim 4 of the present invention is the web feeder according to claim 3, wherein a rotation angle detecting means for detecting a rotation angle of the winding body and an outer peripheral speed of the winding body are provided. Peripheral speed detecting means for detecting, the control means predicts the relationship between the rotation angle and the displacement of the unwinding position based on the rotation angle and the peripheral speed, the predicted displacement and the actual displacement The driving means is controlled so that the difference from the displacement is eliminated by the reciprocating motion. According to the present invention, the rotation angle of the winding body is detected by the rotation angle detecting means, the outer peripheral speed of the winding body is detected by the outer peripheral speed detecting means, and the rotation angle is controlled by the control means based on the rotation angle and the outer peripheral speed. And the displacement of the unwinding position are predicted, and the driving means is controlled such that the difference between the predicted displacement and the actual displacement is eliminated by the reciprocating motion. That is, the displacement of the unwinding position is predicted, and control is performed based on the prediction. Therefore, it is possible to avoid problems such as control response delay and to adapt very well to high-speed operation.
[0010]
The web feeding device according to claim 5 of the present invention is the web feeding device according to claim 3 or 4, wherein the driving means is a servo actuator that reciprocates a pedestal that supports the winding body, The control means is a servo controller for controlling the servo actuator. According to the present invention, the reciprocating motion is controlled by the servo actuator and the servo controller so as to follow an arbitrary change in the prediction (target value).
[0011]
BEST MODE FOR CARRYING OUT THE INVENTION
Next, embodiments of the present invention will be described. FIG. 1 shows an example of the configuration of the web feeding device of the present invention. In FIG. 1, 1 is an outer peripheral speed sensor, 2 is a rotary encoder, 3 is an input unit, 4 is a control unit, 5 is a servo cylinder, 10 is a take-up body support unit, 20 is a linear guide unit, 100 is a web, and 200 is It is a roll.
[0012]
The outer peripheral speed sensor 1 is an outer peripheral speed detecting unit that detects the outer peripheral speed of the winding body 200. As the outer peripheral speed sensor 1, a contact type speedometer such as measuring a speed from the number of rotations of a contacted wheel per unit time, a non-contact type speedometer such as a laser Doppler type, or the like can be used. it can. In the present invention, although there is no particular limitation on the type, type, and the like of the outer peripheral speed sensor 1, it is needless to say that a non-contact type that does not affect the rotational movement of the winding body 200 is preferable.
[0013]
The rotary encoder 2 is a rotation angle detection unit that detects a rotation angle of the detection winding body 200. The rotation shaft of the rotary encoder 2 is connected to the rotation shaft of the winding body 200 or a rotation shaft that rotates synchronously with the rotation shaft. The rotary encoder 2 outputs three signals: a ZERO signal, an A-phase signal, and a B-phase signal. The ZERO signal is a pulse signal output once per rotation, and the rise or fall of the pulse signal indicates that the rotation axis of the rotary encoder 2 has a predetermined (corresponding to the origin) rotation angle.
[0014]
The A-phase signal and the B-phase signal are pulse signals (rectangular wave signals) output at angles obtained by equally dividing one rotation into a predetermined number (for example, 1000). The phase of the A-phase signal and the phase of the B-phase signal are different by 90 degrees, and the direction of rotation can be specified by comparing the phases of the A-phase signal and the B-phase signal. The origin of the rotation angle is determined by the output of the ZERO signal, the rotation direction is determined by comparing the phases of the A-phase signal and the B-phase signal, and the number of pulses of the A-phase signal or the B-phase signal is changed according to the rotation direction. It is configured to count by adding. For example, the counting is performed at an interface between the rotary encoder 2 and the control unit 4. This count value corresponds to the angle of the rotation axis of the rotary encoder 2, that is, the angle of the rotation axis of the winding body 200.
[0015]
The input unit 3 is a part in which the operator performs an operation input, a setting input, and the like in the web feeding device of the present invention. For example, the operator sets and inputs the unwinding direction (upward and downward) of the winding body, the detection position θ in the rotation direction of the outer peripheral speed by the outer peripheral speed sensor 1, and the like in the input unit 3 (see FIG. 3). The input unit 3 can be configured by an operation panel, a display, a keyboard, a mouse, and the like of a data processing device such as a programmable sequence controller or a personal computer.
[0016]
The control section 4 is a section for performing control calculations for suppressing fluctuations in web tension due to eccentricity of the winding body in the web feeding device of the present invention. It is also a part that performs other data processing. For example, the control unit 4 also performs processes related to interfaces with peripheral devices (the input unit 3, etc.), sensors (the outer peripheral speed sensor 1, the rotary encoder 2, etc.), and drivers (the driver of the servo cylinder 5, etc.). . The control unit 4 can be configured by a data processing device (hardware and software) such as a programmable sequence controller or a personal computer.
[0017]
The servo cylinder 5 is an actuator (servo actuator) of a servo mechanism that controls an output of a control target to follow a target value. The servo cylinder 5 linearly reciprocates the winding body support 10. The servo cylinder 5 is a cylinder integrally having a follow-up mechanism in which a control position of a rod connected to a piston forms a function of an input signal to a control valve. The drive of the rod is performed by hydraulic pressure, hydraulic pressure, or the like. Done by Here, the servo cylinder 5 means one configured to reciprocate linearly, and the configuration is not limited to the piston and the cylinder. For example, a rod or a member corresponding to the rod may be linearly reciprocated by an electric servomotor, a speed reduction mechanism, a linear guide mechanism, or the like.
[0018]
The take-up body support 10 is a part that rotatably supports the take-up body 200 in the web feeding device of the present invention. The take-up body support 10 is guided by the linear guide section 20 so as to reciprocate in the unwinding direction of the take-up body 200. The winding body supporting portion 10 can reciprocate in the unwinding direction of the winding body 200 while supporting the winding body 200 by driving the servo cylinder 5.
[0019]
The linear guide section 20 guides the winding body supporting section 10 to be able to reciprocate in the unwinding direction of the winding body 200. In the example shown in FIG. 1, the linear guide section 20 is a pedestal that supports the winding body support section 10, and has a configuration in which a rail is provided on the pedestal. Accordingly, the winder support 10 has wheels that ride on that rail. Instead of providing the rail on the pedestal, the rail may be provided directly on the floor on which the web feeding device of the present invention is installed.
[0020]
Next, the operation of the web feeding device of the present invention having the above configuration will be described with reference to FIG.
First, in step S1 (unwinding direction input, sensor position input) in FIG. 2, the operator sets and inputs the unwinding direction (upward, downward) and the detection position θ from the input unit 3. The set unwinding direction and sensor position are input by the control unit 4 and stored in the memory. As shown in FIG. 3, the state is “up” when the web 100 is unwound from the upper side of the winding body 200, and “down” when the web 100 is unwound from the lower side of the winding body 200.
[0021]
The detection position θ is an angle in a specific direction of the winding body supporting portion 10 of the web feeding device, in the example shown in FIG. The detection position θ is set as a position apart from the unwinding position. That is, it is set so that the unwinding position in the upward unwinding position and the unwinding position in the downward unwinding position are substantially intermediate (angle). This is to gain time until the winding body 200 rotates and the detection position reaches the unwinding position (operation position).
[0022]
Next, in step S2 (outer peripheral speed measurement), the controller 4 inputs the outer peripheral speed V1 of the winding body 200 measured and output by the outer peripheral speed sensor 1.
[0023]
Next, in step S <b> 3 (unwinding position calculation), the control unit 4 calculates the unwinding position X from the outer peripheral speed and the unwinding speed V <b> 0 of the web 100 by applying the following equation 1.
(Equation 1)
(Unwinding position X) = K × T × ((Unwinding speed V0) − (Outer peripheral speed V1))
Here, K: a predetermined coefficient (adjustment value for optimizing control)
T: predetermined time (corresponding to measurement time)
[0024]
The unwinding speed V0 of the web 100 can be obtained by measuring the speed of the web 100 immediately after being unwound from the winding body 200 using a sensor similar to the outer peripheral speed sensor 1. The unwinding speed V0 can be obtained from the rotation speed of a feed roller (nip roller) in the web feeding device.
[0025]
Next, in step S4 (rotation angle detection), the control unit 4 inputs the rotation angle φ of the winding body 200 calculated based on the output signal of the rotary encoder 2. The rotation angle φ is a rotation angle that can be calculated by the interface of the rotary encoder 2 or the like as described above.
[0026]
Next, in step S5 (unwind position command output), the control unit 4 calculates a target value Xt from the unwind position X, the rotation angle φ, and the detected position θ, and uses the target value in servo control of the servo cylinder 5 in servo control. A command is output so as to set the actual target value Xt. The target value Xt is calculated by applying the following equation (2).
(Equation 2)
Under the condition ((rotation angle φ)-(detection position θ) = α),
(Target value Xt) = (Unwind position X)
Where α is a predetermined angle.
The condition ((rotation angle φ) − (detection position θ) = α) indicates a situation where the detection position reaches the unwinding position (operation position). The controller 4 calculates the target value of the servo control at the detection position θ, but it is not immediately after the calculation that the target value of the servo control is made to follow, but the winding body 200 is rotated and detected at the unwinding position (operation position). This is when the position is reached. In the time until the arrival, the servo cylinder 5 can perform an operation of following the target value. That is, substantial feedforward control (prediction control) can be performed.
[0028]
As a result, the control unit 4 calculates a table in which the relationship between the rotation angle φ of the winding body 1 and the target value Xt is described. Moreover, this table is a table that predicts a target value to be followed with respect to the rotation angle φ that will eventually be reached. Based on the table calculated by the data processing mechanism of the control unit 4, the servo control mechanism in the control unit 4 executes the servo control.
[0029]
Next, in step S <b> 6, the servo control mechanism that has received the unwind position command output from the control unit 4 operates the servo cylinder 5 so that the linear guide unit 20 supports the winding body support unit 10 that is linearly movable. Perform a linear movement. Thereby, the unwinding position of the winding body 200 rotatably supported by the winding body support 10 is changed.
[0030]
The above-described steps S1 to S6 are repeatedly performed while the web is being fed by the web feeding device. Although the repetition speed is limited by the calculation speed of the control unit 4, good control can be achieved if at least 4 to 6 or more repetitions are performed during one rotation of the winding body 200.
[0031]
Since the thickness of the web 100 is extremely small with respect to the diameter of the winding body 200, the contents of the table described above do not change significantly during one rotation of the winding body 200. Therefore, it is possible to prepare a table while the winding body 200 makes one rotation, and make corrections at appropriate time intervals based on new data. In addition, at a rotation angle where there is no actual measured value data of the outer peripheral speed, data can be filled by applying a known interpolation method. By performing servo control based on the table, speed restrictions can be almost eliminated.

FIG. 4 is a diagram showing a state of control in a schematic graph. As shown in FIG. 4 (A), when the control operation was turned off, a large change in the web tension synchronized with the rotation was observed, but when the control operation was turned on, the web tension was not affected by the rotation. Stabilize.
