Abstract

<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an auxiliary means with which an opening mouth of a baglike and molded packaging container of a plastic wrapper can be easily discriminated and the container can be easily opened. <P>SOLUTION: An uneven portion surrounding the outer periphery of a tear-open cut formed on the external end surface of a seal which is fusion-bonded and sealed is formed as the opening mouth of a packaging container such as a bag, a skin pack and a drawn package of the plastic wrapper. The tear-open cut can be found by checking the uneven portion by the touch of fingertips. The cut can be easily known visually as colors on the seal and the uneven portion differ by surface finishing of male and female molds forming the uneven portion, so that the package can be easily opened. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO

本発明は、主として菓子、食品、食肉加工品、レトルト食品、医療品等を包装する包装容器の開封用切り込み部を視覚的に見やすくし、且つ指先の感触から容易に識別可能な開封用切り込み部の識別が容易な包装容器に関する。

【従来の技術】
菓子、食品、食肉加工品、レトルト食品、医療品等を包装する包装容器として多層プラスチックフイルムによる二方シール袋、三方シール袋、四方シール袋の袋状の包装容器か、あるいは多層プラスチックフイルムを真空成形あるいは圧空成形による深絞り包装、あるいはスキンパック等の包装容器が多用されている。

これらの、包装容器の開封をハサミや、あるいはカッターナイフ等の刃物を使用しないで包装容器を開封する方法として、袋状の包装容器は袋の端部周縁溶着部の先端部にノコギリ刃状の鋸歯カットを施したり、V字状の切り込みをいれたV字カットを施したり、あるいは線状の切り込みノッチ等が施されている。

また深絞り包装、あるいはスキンパックによる包装容器を開封する方法として、成形されている包装容器のフランジ溶着部の一部に開封のための未接着部あるいは弱接着部が施されているか、あるいは包装容器のフランジ溶着の開封を容易にするためにピーラブル蓋材が使用されている。

上記のように袋状の包装容器で袋の端部周縁の溶着部に形成されているV字カットあるい鋸歯カット、線状ノッチなどは溶着部の引張り強度、耐圧強度等の劣化が生じないように溶着部の溶着幅の僅かな大きさで設けられている。

この為にカット部あるいはノッチが非常に見ずらく、開封するときに開封部分を探す状態である。また、いざカット部分あるいはノッチから開封する場合に包装容器の包装材料または材料構成によって切れ難く、またかなりの力が必要な場合もある。

また、袋状の包装容器は袋の溶着シール部分の端部周縁に設けられているV字カットあるい鋸歯カット、線状ノッチなどを探す為に袋の溶着シール部の外周端面部に指先を当てて開封切れ口を探している内に、目の不自由な人が指先を損傷すると言う問題が生じている。

また、深絞り包装、あるいはスキンパックによる包装容器は成形部の外周縁部が溶着され、開封し易いように蓋材と容器との溶着部にピーラブルヒートシール樹脂層を設けたり、あるいは開封用切り込み部として包装容器の一部に未シール部あるいは弱接着部を設け、さらに蓋材と容器の大きさを多少換える等により開封用切り込み部を表示し、且つ蓋材を摘み易くしている。

しかし、開封用切り込み部も溶着部と略同じ色をしているために見出すことが難しく、また蓋材と容器の大きさを多少違えた部分の先端も加熱シールされる為に蓋材が縮み、開封用切り込み部の判別が非常に難しい。

また、開封用切り込み部を少しでも消費者に分かりやすくするために蓋材か容器の一部の僅かな個所に滴形状に赤色あるいは白色の印刷がほどこされている。さらに印刷された色と対称的な色で小さく「開け口」等と印刷が施されているが、非常に分かり難くい深絞り包装容器やスキンパックが多い。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
このように包装容器を開封するときに開封用切り込み部を視覚的手段によつて見つけるのが大半であるが非常に見付け難い。また、お年寄りや目の不自由な人は包装容器の溶着部の端面に指先を当てて開封用切り込み部を探している中に包装容器の端面で指先などを損傷する事がある。

また開封用切り込み部が分かってもいざ開封しようとすると、健常者であっても包装容器の素材、あるいは溶着部の構成、構造等により開封し難い物であったりすると、包装容器の開封用切り込み部あるいは「開け口」と印刷されている個所から開封せずに、カッターナイフや、あるいはハサミ等を使用し、手等を損傷することもあった。

さらに、「開け口」を見つけ容器の蓋材を開封しようとすると「開け口」と印刷され、溶着されていない部分が狭い為に掴み難く、なかなか開封出来ないことが非常に多い。

この為に、包装容器の蓋材を開封し易いように、容器と蓋材のシールをピーラブルシール加工が施される。

しかし、内容物が加熱殺菌や、これに伴う冷却処理工程などで容器内部と外部で著しい圧力差が発生することからピーラブルシール界面のみによるヒートシールでは密封シールの信頼性に欠けるという問題がある。

本来、ピーラブルシールが施されている深絞り包装容器あるいはスキンパック等で包装されている収納物を取り出すときには、開封部である「開け口」と印刷されている蓋材の僅かな個所を摘み、かなりの力で蓋材を引張って開封する為に、収納物が落ちてしまうことが多々ある。

また、イージーピール包装容器には材質構成や包装容器の構造などいろいろの対応が必要と成っている為に、包装容器の蓋材が容易に開封することが困難な深絞り包装容器やスキンパックが多い。

この為に、容器と蓋材が溶着されている内側周縁の収納物の輪郭状にカッターナイフあるいは包丁等で蓋材等を切り、収納物を取り出すことも多々あり、手等を損傷するする場合がある。

このために、お年寄りや目の不自由な人が包装容器の一部あるいは溶着部の平な部分(シール表面)に指先を当てて包装容器の収納物あるいは開封用切り込み部等を識別する方法が実公開昭61―172030号公報、特開2000―15354号公報記載等をはじめ多くの提案がなされている。

実公開昭61―172030号公報には袋に粉末の薬剤を入れ、袋の端部周縁の溶着部に、開封を容易にするための切欠部を設け、切欠部の両側に凸版状の点字を形成し、粉末薬剤の「開け口」を識別する包装容器が提案されている。

しかし、凸版状の点字は、凸状の型で溶着部の切欠部の両側に加圧して形成されるために、溶着部に施されている切欠部に亀裂が発生し溶着部以外の袋面を損傷する問題がある。

また、カット部の両側に刻することで凸版状に成形されるために、周縁部の平な溶着シール部分が波形状態になり、収納物を充填する充填包装機の包装適性が著しく低下する問題がある。

また、特開2000―15354号公報には袋状の包装容器の開封用切り込み部の両脇に、指先で識別出来る凹凸部を設け、この凹凸部を指先の感触で確認して切り込み部を両手の中央に位置させ開封を行うことが提案されている。

しかし、溶着シール部に形成されているカット部の両側に凹凸部を形成することにより凹凸部周辺が引張られると同時に小皺が発生し、さらにカット部も亀裂が生じ、溶着シール部以外の袋面を損傷する問題ある。さらに凹凸部の外周縁の溶着シール部が波形状態となるために自動包装機適性等も著しく低下する。

また、特開2000―15354号公報には開封用切り込み部の両脇に指先で識別する凹凸部の変わりに孔を袋状の包装容器の一部に設けることが記載されている。しかし、このような袋状の包装容器は、溶着シール部の僅かな幅に指先で識別できるほどの孔をカット部の両側に施すことによりその周辺の溶着シール部のシール強度が著しく低下すると言う問題がある。

また、内容物を調理加工する為に袋をボイル加熱するときに袋が緊張(膨張状態)した状態になり、識別する孔の部分に皺がより、その部分から亀裂が生じるほか、孔の周辺部の溶着シール部分が縮み波形状になる為に、流通時に溶着部から内容物等の液漏れが生じることがある。

また、実公開昭61―172030号公報と特開2000―15354号公報記載は袋状の包装容器に開封用切り込み部である線状ノッチ等の両脇に指先の感触で識別する凹凸部あるいは凸状の点字が形成され、識別すると言う事で略同様の目的と問題が生じている。

特に、特開2000―15354号公報記載の袋状の包装容器は開封用切り込み部である線状ノッチ等の両脇に凹凸部を形成する点で、実公開昭61―172030号公報記載の開封用切り込み部である線状ノッチ等の両脇に点字用の凸状を形成し、指先の感触で識別する点では一致し、凹凸部あるいは凸状を形成することにより溶着部の線状ノッチが両脇に広げられるような状態となり、溶着部のシール幅方向に亀裂が生じたりあるいはピンホールが生じる事がある。

また、収納物の容量が多く線状ノッチの部分に応力が加わった袋状の包装容器を数段積みした状態で箱詰め流通したときに、流通時に開封用の線状ノッチから損傷が進み袋状の包装容器が破損されることがある。

上記のように本発明の包装容器の開封に関する多くの提案がなされているが、何れも指先の感触によって識別出来る凹凸を設けることで収納物を充填する作業適性が悪くなるほか、収納物を保護、保全あるいは品質保持するべき包装容器としての機能が、溶着シール部から袋の損傷等が発生することや、シール部の強度劣化が生じる事などで収納物の品質等が低下すると言う問題がある。また収納物を充填した包装容器の流通で、包装容器が破損する問題もある。そこで本発明はこれらの課題を鑑みて簡単な手段で、流通時でも包装容器の破損を来すこと無く、誰でも容易に包装容器を開封することが出来るようにするものである。

【課題を解決するための手段】
本発明は上記の課題を解決するために、まず請求項1に係る発明は、菓子、食品加工品、調理食品、食肉加工品、医療品等をいれる開封用切り込み部を有する包装容器であって、該包装容器の開封用切り込み部の外周縁を取り囲む凹凸部が形成されている事を特徴とした識別容易な開封用切り込み部付き包装容器である。

次に、本発明の請求項2に係る発明は、請求項1に係る前記、包装容器が溶着部を有する密封の袋であって、該溶着部分に開封用切り込み部の外周縁を取り囲む凹凸部が形成されている事を特徴とする請求項1に記載の識別容易な開封用切り込み部付き包装容器である。

【発明の実施の形態】
本発明の識別容易な開封用切り込み部付き包装容器を実施の形態に沿って以下に図面を参照しながら詳細に説明する。図1〜図3は本発明の一実施例を示す。図1(a)は本発明に係る識別の凹凸を有する開封用切り込み部付き袋状の包装容器を示す正面図、図1(b)は図1(a)のA−A′断面を示す断面図、図1(c)は図1(a)のB−B′断面を示す断面図、図1(d)は図1(a)の識別の凹凸を有する開封用切り込み部(S)の他形状を示す説明図、図1(e)は図1(a)の識別の凹凸を有する開封用切り込み部(S)の他形状を示す説明図、図1(f)は図1(a)の識別の凹凸を有する開封用切り込み部(S)の他形状を示す説明図、図2(a)は本発明に係る識別の凹凸を有する開封用切り込み部付き袋状の包装容器を示す平面図、図2(b)は図2(a)のC−C′断面を示す断面図、図2(c)は図2(b)の断面M部の拡大を示す拡大断面図、図3は本発明に係る凹凸状を有する開封用切り込み部付き袋状の包装容器の生産工程での加工状態を示す説明図である。

本発明に係る袋状の包装容器はチューブ状フイルムの上・下(天・地)をシールした二方シールあるいは三方シールによるフラット袋、またはピロー状三方シール、あるいは袋の上下・左右の四方をシールする四方シール袋などの溶着部2に従来から開封用切り込み部Sが形成連れている。(図4)

溶着部2に設けられている開封用切り込み部Sの形状は図4(a〜d)に示すような形状のが多用され、中でも図4(a)に示す線上ノッチが多く使用されている。

また、溶着部2の一部を切り落とした開封用切り込み部Sとして図4(b〜d)に示すようなV字状開封用切り込み部(b)、U字状開封用切り込み部(c)、先端三角形状の開封用切り込み部(d)、あるいは鋸歯状開封用切り込み部等種々の形状に形成された、開封を容易にする為の開封用切り込み部が施されている。

図1に示すように開封用切り込み部S上に凹凸部12を形成することにより、目の不自由な人や、健常者であっても視力の弱い人が溶着部2の平らな部分を指先で触わる程度で容易に開封用切り込み部が識別できる。

凹凸部12の形成は雄型と雌型により形成され、溶着部2の開封用切り込み部S上には表裏の一方に凸部が形成され、他方に凹部が形成される。

この為に、開封用切り込み部Sを探す為に溶着部2の平らな部分を二本の指先挟んで触わる時に一本の指先は凸部に触れ、他の一本の指は凹部に触れ開封用切り込み部Sを容易に確認する事が出来る。

また、凹凸部12を形成する時に雄型と雌型を加熱することで溶着部2との色彩の違いが生じるために視覚的な手段でも開封用切り込み部Sを容易に見出すことが可能である。

さらに、凹凸部12の雄型及び雌型の表面にシールバー表面に施されている網目状あるいはローレット目状模様等と異なる模様を設けることにより溶着部2と開封用切り込み部上に設けられた凹凸部12の色彩が明確になる為に開封用切り込み部Sが容易識別することが出来る。

また、凹凸部12を設ける為の雄型と雌型を加熱する温度によっては開封用切り込み部Sからの開封が弱い力で開封することも出来る。

また、袋状の包装容器1に収納物36を充填シールし、箱詰め作業あるいは流通等の過程で開封用切り込み部Sから袋状の包装容器1が損傷し開封目的以外で収納物36が飛び出したり、あるいは損傷により収納物36が痛むことがあったが、凹凸部12を形成する為の雄型と雌型を加熱して凹凸部12を形成する為に開封部の先端部が硬化される為に、溶着部2の開封用切り込み部Sに施されている線状ノッチ等からの亀裂の進行が防止される。

溶着部2の開封用切り込み部Sは袋状に製袋されたものを50〜150枚程度ブロック状にして開封用切り込み部S作製用の機械で形成するか、あるいは製袋加工機上で溶着製袋加工時に開封用切り込み部Sを形成するかは、袋状の包装容器1の形状、大きさ、製袋加工機などにより何れかが選定される。
