Description

【0001】

TECHNICAL FIELD OF THE INVENTION
The present invention is directed to a grinding machine configured such that abrasive cloth pieces having an infinite number of abrasive grains adhered to a surface thereof are orthogonally mounted on a support disk and arranged in a laminating manner in the rotational direction, so that the laminating side end face can be efficiently ground. It is about wheels.
[0002]
[Prior art]
Conventionally, in order to grind the weld bead generated in the butt-welded part of a steel plate and finish it smoothly, or to grind the surface of various workpieces, grind the relevant part with a hand-held tool grinder or disk grinder. The method is adopted. In addition, when the grinding wheel is large in quantity and relatively small in size, the rotating grinding wheel is automatically fed and moved on a table or a support table for fixing a work (work), and the grinding is performed. An automatic grinding device is used.
[0003]
Further, the planar grinding / polishing operation is often performed using a grindstone wheel, a polishing disk, or a buff wheel to which an abrasive is attached, which is usually formed in an annular shape. For the buff polishing, for example, as disclosed in Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 9-309074, a large number of flexible polishing cloth pieces (an infinite number of abrasive grains The same applies to the following.), And a structure is used in which the polishing cloth pieces are curved so as to be convex in the rotation direction.
[0004]
In such a polishing wheel for buff polishing, since the amount of the object to be polished by the polishing cloth piece is very small, a polishing wheel having a large amount of grinding is used in place of this, as disclosed in JP-A-2001-79776. Are disclosed by As shown in FIG. 5, the polishing wheel 50 is formed by laminating a plurality of strips of the polishing cloth 51 and bending them in the width direction. A plurality of wheels that are sandwiched and fixed with an adhesive and provided with a support shaft hole in the center and formed on a wheel are used in a superposed state. Alternatively, as shown in FIG. 6, a plurality of polishing cloth pieces 56 are folded in the width direction, and a part thereof is slightly wrapped and radially arranged so as to be superimposed on one surface of a disk-shaped support 57. A disk-type polishing wheel 55 is known in which the base lower portion of the polishing cloth piece 56 is fixed.
[0005]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
However, in the case of the above-mentioned grinding using a tool grinder or a disk grinder, the grinding state is inevitably inaccurate. There is a problem that skill is required to perform such grinding.
[0006]
In addition, in the case of using the polishing wheel 50 as shown in FIG. 5, since a single wheel has a small grinding range, a plurality of the wheels are superposed and a rotary shaft (not shown) is mounted on the support shaft hole 53 for use. Therefore, a spacer (not shown) is required at the overlapping portion to secure the stability. In addition, in order to impart flexibility, each of the plurality of folded polishing cloth pieces 51 forming the grinding portion needs to have a structure in which a cutting line 51a is provided at its tip to enhance grinding performance. This is troublesome and requires a large grinding wheel, which is expensive. In addition, since the outer peripheral portion 54 is used for grinding during rotation, use conditions are limited, and in order to finish the work to a smooth surface, the skill of the operator also needs to be similar to the conventional grinder. There is a problem that is required.
[0007]
Further, in the disk-type polishing wheel 55 as shown in FIG. 6, since the abrasive-grain-adhering surfaces of a large number of the polishing cloth pieces 56 are largely exposed, the wear of the abrasive-grain adhered by grinding is reduced. However, there is a problem that the service life is short. Further, since the polishing surface 56a of the wide polishing cloth piece 56 comes into contact with the work at a time, heat is intense, which contributes to shortening the life, and chips generated during grinding adhere to the polishing surface 56a. This is a problem that it is clogged because it is easy and is not removed smoothly.
[0008]
The present invention has been made in order to solve such a problem, and a rotating grinding method in which a large number of grinding cloth pieces are stacked on a supporting disk surface in an upright state in a rotating direction to form an annular grinding surface. It is an object of the present invention to provide a grinding wheel that can efficiently perform a grinding process on a body.
[0009]
[Means for Solving the Problems and Functions / Effects]
To achieve the above-mentioned object, a grinding wheel according to the present invention comprises:
A support disk of a required diameter having a support shaft mounting portion in the center, and abrasive grains adhering surfaces aligned in the rotational direction in an upright state on the support disk are arranged in a tightly annular shape, and one side is provided on the disk side. A lamination grinding section consisting of a large number of polishing cloth pieces that are fixed, the polishing cloth pieces constituting the lamination grinding section, the inner peripheral side thereof is located slightly away from the radiation from the center of rotation, and the The outer peripheral side of the polishing cloth piece is slightly shifted from each other, and a ground surface is formed by a free end of the polishing cloth piece in close contact.
[0010]
According to the present invention, since the lamination grinding section of the grinding wheel is formed by laminating a large number of abrasive cloth pieces on the support disk in an annular manner in a state in which the abrasive-adhering surfaces are aligned in the rotational direction and in an upright and close contact state, On the grinding surface, which is the annular surface, the free-side ends of a large number of polishing cloth pieces are slightly displaced, so that the abrasive grains adhered to the workpiece are ground in contact with the workpiece. In this grinding wheel, a lamination array of a large number of abrasive cloth pieces is provided in close contact in an almost upright state, but the inner peripheral side edge of the abrasive cloth piece is located at a position slightly more distant from radiation from the center of rotation. And, the outer peripheral side of the polishing cloth piece is displaced little by little and a grinding surface is formed at the free end, so that when the grinding surface is in contact with the workpiece and the grinding operation is performed, each polishing cloth piece is The free ends do not contact at the same rotational angular velocity, but shift between the inner and outer edges to increase the contact friction resistance. In other words, the free ends of each polishing cloth work as one cutting edge. Thus, the work surface of the work is cut off by the abrasive grains exposed at the free ends of the respective polishing cloth pieces, so that the work can be surely ground with high precision. In addition, on the ground surface, each abrasive cloth piece is planted in close contact as described above, but its free end is a small gap only at the end of the adjacent abrasive cloth piece due to the contact resistance at the time of grinding. Is formed, and grinding debris generated at the time of grinding can be discharged to the outer peripheral side by the centrifugal force due to rotation through the minute gap, so that there is an effect that grinding can be performed without causing clogging.
[0011]
In the above invention, it is preferable that the abrasive cloth piece standing and implanted on the support disk is provided with a means for preventing it from coming off at the time of use at an attachment portion to the support disk, and is fixed by an adhesive ( Second invention). In this way, when the grinding wheel contacts the work surface while grinding at high speed and grinds, even if a large load acts on the fixed part due to the contact resistance with the work surface, the abrasive cloth piece does not come off and fly out This has the effect that the grinding function can be reliably exerted. Further, since the abrasive cloth piece is firmly fixed to the supporting disk, the effect that the effective use period in abrasion can be extended by grinding can also be obtained.
[0012]
Further, the means for preventing the abrasive cloth piece from being detached provided on the support disk is provided with a projection in which at least the inner peripheral side or the outer peripheral side of the abrasive cloth piece is engaged with the support disk, and the polishing cloth is implanted. It is preferable that a notch is formed on the piece to be engaged with the protrusion formed on the supporting disk, and the both are engaged to bond and fix the mounting side of the polishing cloth piece with an adhesive (third piece). invention). In this case, the polishing cloth piece is not only adhered to the support disk, but also has the effect of being able to withstand the load due to the external force and being used without slipping out during use due to the engagement between the projection and the corresponding notch.
[0013]
Further, the means for preventing the abrasive cloth from slipping out includes a projecting edge in which a concave portion is formed in the outer peripheral portion of the supporting disk near the face plate on the inner peripheral surface side, and the polishing cloth is attached. A flange-shaped protrusion is formed on the peripheral surface on the inner diameter side of the surface, and the polishing cloth piece constituting the laminated grinding portion has a position closer to the outer peripheral side and an inner peripheral position of the side attached to the support disk. It is preferable that a notch is provided for engaging with the protruding edge and the protruding portion of the support disk, and the recess on the inner peripheral surface of the protruding edge is a glue pool (a fourth invention). With such a configuration, a large number of polishing cloth pieces that are stacked and arranged in an upright and close contact state are formed by projecting portions and cuts on the inner peripheral side with respect to the supporting disk, and with the protruding edge of the supporting disk on the outer peripheral side. Is firmly fixed by the engagement of the adhesive in the glue pool and the adhesive in the glue pool, and the effect of being stably fixed even under a severe load is obtained. In addition, since the outer peripheral portion of the polishing cloth piece can be free from the protruding edge position to the outer peripheral side, there is an advantage that the peripheral surface can be used for grinding.

BEST MODE FOR CARRYING OUT THE INVENTION
Next, specific embodiments of the grinding wheel according to the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings.
[0015]
FIG. 1 shows a longitudinal sectional view of an embodiment of the grinding wheel according to the present invention. FIG. 2 is a plan view of FIG. 1, and FIG. 3 is a view showing the shape of one piece of polishing cloth constituting the grinding portion of the grinding wheel.
[0016]
The grinding wheel 1 of this embodiment includes a support disk 2 having a required diameter and a large number of annularly arranged in close contact with one surface (upper surface in the figure) of the support disk 2 in an upright state. And a lamination grinding unit 10 made of a polishing cloth piece 11.
[0017]
The support disk 2 is formed of metal or reinforced plastic, has a mounting shaft hole 3 at the center, and has a boss 4 protruding from the rear side. On the outer peripheral portion of the surface, a narrow-width protruding edge 6 is provided with its inner peripheral surface 6a formed on an inclined surface whose tip side is closer to the axis than the base 6b side, and from the protruding edge 6 to the center side. A mounting groove 7 having a required width is formed in an annular shape, and one side (mounting side) of the polishing cloth piece 11 is fixed to the mounting groove 7 so that an annular grinding portion 10 can be formed. On the inner diameter side of the mounting groove 7, a groove 7b is formed in the radial direction along the bottom surface (mounting surface 7a), and a flange-like protrusion 8 is formed above the groove 7b.
[0018]
The polishing cloth pieces 11 are formed by attaching countless abrasive grains to one side of a base cloth having a required thickness, and are arranged and mounted in the mounting grooves 7 of the support disk 2 as shown in FIG. The height dimension H from the mounting side 11a to the outer peripheral side 11b is higher than the height dimension h which is also the inner peripheral side 11c, and one of the long sides is an inclined side 11d (hereinafter referred to as a free end 11d). It is cut into an irregular rectangle. The length L of the polishing cloth piece 11 in the longitudinal direction is longer than the outer circumference of the support disk 2 from the bottom surface of the groove 7b forming the protrusion 8 adjacent to the mounting groove 7 of the support disk 2. A notch 12 corresponding to the protruding edge 6 formed on the outer peripheral portion of the supporting disk 2 is provided on the mounting side 11a, and the inner peripheral side 11c is engaged with the protruding portion 8 of the supporting disk 2. A lateral cut 13 is formed. The polishing cloth piece 11 may be a rectangle having the same inner and outer dimensions.
[0019]
The polishing cloth piece 11 thus formed has its mounting side 11c on the mounting surface 7a of the mounting groove 7 of the support disk 2, and its inner peripheral side 11c slightly apart from the radiation a from the rotation center O. The outer peripheral side 11b is slightly retracted (slightly displaced in the anti-rotation direction) so that the abrasive grain-adhering surfaces are aligned in the same direction and closely contacted in an upright state (standing state) to arrange a large number of sheets. Then, the mounting side 11a is fixed with an adhesive, and the free lamination 11d on the opposite side is formed, while the free end 11d is very small but free.
[0020]
When forming the annular laminated grinding portion 10, when attaching the polishing cloth piece 11 to the support disk 2, the cuts 13 at the ends on the inner peripheral side 11 c are engaged with the protruding portions 8, and the inner peripheral surface of the mounting groove portion 7 is engaged. And the notch 12 on the outer peripheral side 11b is engaged with the protruding edge 6 of the support disk 2 to slightly displace the position from the rotation center O in the above-described manner. They are arranged slightly closer to the inner peripheral side 11c (slightly inclined). By doing so, the grinding having the annular laminated grinding portion 10 having the grinding surface 10a in which the apparent surface is linearly formed from the inner diameter to the outer diameter by the free end 11d of the respective polishing cloth pieces 11 and slightly uneven in the circumferential direction. Wheel 1
[0021]
As shown in FIG. 2, the grinding wheel 1 configured as described above has a large number of polishing cloth pieces 11 constituting the annular laminated grinding unit 10, and the inner peripheral side 11 c from the radiation a from the rotation center O. The polishing cloth pieces 11 are arranged in a slightly separated (offset) state and in an upright and close state, and are arranged obliquely so that the outer peripheral side 11b of each polishing cloth piece 11 is slightly, but at a retracted position. Is formed at the free end 11d of the polishing cloth piece 11 when the grinding surface is in contact with the work surface of the workpiece and the grinding operation is performed. Instead of contacting at an angular velocity, the contact is made in a state where the inner peripheral side 11c and the outer peripheral side 11b are shifted.
[0022]
As a result, when grasping and considering each rotating polishing cloth piece 11, on the ground surface 10 a, the free end 11 d comes into contact with the surface to be cut while causing a shift inside and outside, so that a large number of slightly exposed portions are exposed. The abrasive grain functions to scrape from the inside to the outside, and at the same time, its free end 11d is bent slightly but slightly to form a minute gap between the adjacent polishing cloth pieces 11, and the grinding is performed by the abrasive grain. The debris and the debris of the worn abrasive cloth 11 are discharged to the outside by centrifugal force through the gap. Therefore, a large number of the polishing cloth pieces 11 standing and planted in close contact with each other function in succession as described above, so that grinding can be performed effectively.
[0023]
Therefore, when the grinding wheel 1 of this embodiment is used by attaching the output shaft (not shown) of the rotating machine (motor) to the mounting shaft hole 3 of the mounting boss 4, the laminated grinding unit 10 has a slightly inclined annular surface. However, the portion near the outer periphery gradually wears and becomes flat, so that the surface can be ground by directly pressing it against the surface to be ground of the work. At the time of this grinding operation, each of the polishing cloth pieces 11 constituting the laminated grinding section 10 has the mounting side 11a with respect to the mounting groove 7 of the support disk 2 fixed with an adhesive as described above, and the inner peripheral side 11c at the same time. An adhesive function is provided by the engagement of the protrusion 8 with the cut 13 and the glue pool 16 in the recess formed on the inner peripheral surface 6a of the protrusion 6 by the engagement of the protrusion 6 and the notch 12 on the outer peripheral side 11b. Therefore, even if the workpiece is strongly pressed against the work surface while rotating at a high speed (even if a high load is applied), it does not come off and the grinding operation can be performed reliably. Also, when the surface layer portion of the grinding portion of the polishing cloth piece 11 is worn due to the grinding, the connected lower portion is sequentially updated under the same conditions, and grinding dust and a part of the worn / broken abrasive grains remain in the grinding portion. Therefore, a new grinding portion is always formed, and the work can be continued without lowering the grinding function.
[0024]
Further, in the outer peripheral portion 17 of the grinding wheel 1, the polishing cloth piece 11 is free from the protruding edge 6 to the outside, so that the grinding operation using the peripheral surface can be performed. At the outer peripheral portion 17, the abrasive grain adhering surface of the polishing cloth piece 11 is not directly exposed as in the case of the above-mentioned laminated grinding portion 10. In this case, the end portion of the outer peripheral side 11b of the polishing cloth piece 11 acts in the same manner as described above, and is slightly displaced by pressing so that the grinding function can be exhibited. In addition, the inner corner portion can be ground by using the corner angle.
[0025]
In addition, if a support disk made of reinforced plastic material (for example, thermosetting resin mixed with reinforcing fiber) is used, incineration is possible when discarding grinding wheels that cannot be ground. Has the advantage that it can be disposed of without being treated as industrial waste.
[0026]
FIG. 4 shows a schematic partial longitudinal sectional view of a grinding wheel according to another embodiment. The grinding wheel 1A of this embodiment is basically the same as that of the above-described embodiment, except that the outer peripheral side 11b of the polishing cloth piece 11 constituting the laminated grinding unit 10 is slightly higher than the inner peripheral side 11c. If a low-profile grinding wheel is used, the inclined grinding wheel 1A in which the grinding surface 10a of the lamination grinding unit 10 'becomes lower in the radial direction can be configured by inclining the outer peripheral side. The grinding wheel 1A having such a shape functions in the same manner as the grinding wheel if the grinding operation is performed while rotating at an inclination angle corresponding to the grinding surface 10a of the inclined lamination grinding section 10 '. It is used to facilitate the removal of debris and to perform a grinding operation using a part of the inclined grinding surface 10a. Note that the same or similar parts as those of the above-described embodiment are denoted by the same reference numerals, and description thereof is omitted.
[0027]
In the description of the above embodiment, when the polishing cloth piece is attached to the support disk, the adhesive pool is formed with the inner peripheral portion of the protruding edge provided on the outer peripheral portion of the support disk being inclined. Alternatively, the protruding edge may be formed in parallel with the axis, and a groove may be provided in the inner peripheral portion of the base in the circumferential direction.
