【発明が解決しようとする課題】
しかしながら、従来のトイレ装置では、便座64を外した際に、配線コード66に便座64を引き出すときの負荷や便座64をぶら下げたときの自重がかかってしまうという課題を有していた。
また、従来のトイレ装置60においては、便座64と機能部62を連結する配線コード66が外部に露出しているので、外観が悪いという問題もあった。そこで、便座からの配線コードを無くす試みが種々提案され、例えば、便座の基端側を回動可能に支持している支持軸を通して配線することもできるが、掃除等の場合に便座を取外すことが困難であるという問題があった。
本発明はかかる事情に鑑みてなされたもので、便座を取外すことも容易に可能で、しかも、便座の自重によるリード線の断線等の不具合を確実に防止できることを目的とする。さらに、便座への配線コードが外部に露出しないトイレ装置を提案することを目的とする。

【課題を解決するための手段及び作用、効果】
前記目的に沿う第1の発明に係るトイレ装置は、便器上に載置固定された本体と、前記本体から突出する支持軸に取外し可能かつ回動自在に枢着される便座と、前記便座に設けられたヒータユニットと、本体内に設けられたヒータユニットを制御する制御部と、前記ヒータユニットと前記制御部を電気的に接続するリード線及び該リード線を包含可能な保護チューブとからなる配線コードとを備えたトイレ装置において、前記配線コードに前記便座を外した際の前記リード線への負荷を防止するテンションメンバーを設けている。このことで便座を外したときでも便座の自重をテンションメンバーで受けることができ、リード線が断線することがない。

続いて、図面を参照しつつ、本発明を具体化した実施の形態につき説明し、本発明の理解に供する。

図1〜図4に示すように、本発明の第1の実施の形態に係るトイレ装置10は、陶器製の便器11とその後ろ側上部に設けられた機能部収納ケース(本体)12とを有している。機能部収納ケース12の前側には軸受ハウジング13が設けられ、軸受ハウジング13から左右に突出する支持軸14に便座15の左右の袖部16が軸着されている。左右の支持軸14には、それぞれ便座15及び便蓋17の開閉用のモータを有する開閉駆動手段(図示せず)が設けられ、この開閉駆動手段は軸受ハウジング13に収納されている。便座15内に保温用のヒータと温度センサーが内蔵され、便座15を常時所定温度に加熱している。なお、図1〜図3においては便蓋17は取外されている。

図1に示すように、支持軸14の先部に便蓋17に掛合する断面非円形の掛合部18が設けられ、この掛合部18に噛合して便蓋17の開閉が行われているようになっている。
掛合部18の内側部分の支持軸14には便座15の基部側(後端)に設けられた袖部16が取付けられ、図1に示す側の袖部16(トイレ装置10を正面視して左側の袖部をいう、以下同じ)の基部には支持軸14に一方向から装着される断面U字状の切欠き19が設けられている。この切欠き19は便座15を閉じた場合及び開いた場合でも、便座15が支持軸14から外れないように下側又は斜め下側方向に向いている。

袖部16には便座15内に配置されているヒータ及び温度センサーに接続されている配線コード20が挿通され、この配線コード20は軸受ハウジング13の側壁21に設けられている挿通孔22(コード接続部の一例)を通って軸受ハウジング13内に入り、機能部収納ケース12内に配置されている図示しない制御装置に連結されている。袖部16から便座15内にかけて(すなわち、便座15の後端に)、配線コード20が通過するコード収納部23が設けられ、コード収納部23の基部側には、コード引込み手段24が設けられている。

コード引込み手段24は、配線コード20が挿通する断面矩形のガイドボックス25と、ガイドボックス25内に配置されて配線コード20を中心にして囲むコイルスプリング26と、コイルスプリング26内を挿通する配線コード20に、配線コード20が自由状態のコイルスプリング26の先側から出た位置で固定されるストッパ部材27とを有している。コイルスプリング26の基端はコード収納部23の一部であるガイドボックス25の基端で支持されている。従って、例えば、便座15を取外す場合等において、配線コード20を袖部16から引き出そうとすると、配線コード20の先側に設けられているストッパ部材27がコイルスプング26を縮めることになる。又は取外した便座15を所定位置に固定すると、配線コード20が自由状態になるので、コイルスプリング26が伸びて自動的に配線コード20を袖部16内に引込む。引き込まれた配線コード20はコード引込み手段24の更に奥側のコード収納部23に配置される。コイルスプリング26の強さは、強すぎると配線コード20に無理な荷重がかかるので、弛んだ配線コード20を引き上げるのに十分な力を有すればよい。なお、28は配線コード20のガイドである。

本実施の形態に係るトイレ装置10は以上のような構成となっているので、図3に示すように、便座15の袖部16を支持軸14から取外すと、袖部16内に収納されている配線コード20が引っ張られる。このとき、配線コード20の所定位置にはストッパ部材27が設けられているので、コイルスプリング26を押し下げて配線コード20が袖部16から引き出される。これによって、便座15がある程度自由になるので、例えば、機能部収納ケース12等の上において、便器11や軸受ハウジング13を清掃することができる。
図に示すように、便座15を元の位置に戻せば配線コード20がコイルスプリング26によって引き込まれて、袖部16と軸受ハウジング13の側壁21との間には弛んだ配線コード20はないことになる。

次に、図5乃至図7を用いて配線コード20の詳細を説明する。図示するように配線コード20はキャブタイヤコード210と両端に固定されるコードブッシュ220とからなり、キャブタイヤコード210は最外郭の半硬質外層、シース、及び絶縁体で被覆された4本のリード線240(2本は便座内に設けられたヒータへ電力を供給するための電力線、2本は便座内に設けられたサーミスタで検知される検知温度を伝達するための信号線)及びテンションメンバーとしてのパラ系全芳香族ポリアミド繊維(ケブラー:登録商標)からなる2本の紐250とで構成される。なお、半硬質外層の表面にはキャブタイヤコード210の長さ方向に1本のラインが引かれており、キャブタイヤコード210の捩れを目視することができるようになっている。

図7に示す手順で配線コード20は組み立てられる。なお、固定座230と紐との固定は、固定座230に設けられた溝231を通してリード線240及び紐250を引き出し、対角となる溝231から取り出された紐250同士をスクエアノットという結び方で固定座230に締結される。なおスクエアノットを2回施すことで固定座230にしっかりと固定することができる。

図9、図10、図11に示すように第12、第13の発明に係るトイレ装置はコード引き込み手段として便座15底面にコードリール300を配置した。コードリール300は便座15底面に形成された回転軸310に回転自在に同軸配置されたドラム320と、回転軸310とドラム320に固定された渦巻きばね330から構成されている。配線コード20の4本のリード線240はドラム320に固定されているブラシ340に配線されている。またブラシ340は前記回転軸310と同軸に便座15に固定された基板350のパターン360と接触しており、基板350はヒータとサーミスタに配線されている。

便座15を元の位置に戻せば配線コード20が圧縮された渦巻きばね330によって引き込まれて、袖部16と軸受ハウジング13の側壁21との間には弛んだ配線コード20はないことになる。また配線コード20はブラシ340に配線されているためコードリール200が回転した場合でもヒータと温度検出のためのサーミスタに通電可能となる。

また、図12、図13に示すように第14、第15、第16の発明に係るトイレ装置は配線コード20端部にストッパ370を固定して、ストッパ370に配線コード20の引き込み用コード380の片側端面を固定している。前記引き込み用コード380の反対側端面は回転ローラ390を介してドラム320に固定されている。また、配線コード20の4本のリード線240は配線コードの引き出し代より多くの弛みを持たせている。これにより例えば、便座15を取外す場合等において、配線コード20を袖部16から引き出そうとすると、ドラム320が回転してドラム320と回転軸310に固定されている渦巻きばね330が圧縮されドラムに巻きつけられた引き込み用コード380が弛み、配線コード20が引き出される。このとき配線コード20に固定されているストッパ370がコード収納部23にあたりこれ以上引き出されることはなく配線コード20内の4本のリード線240はこの引き出し代より多くの弛みを持たせている為、リード線に力が加わることはない。便座15を元の位置に戻せば配線コード20のスットパに固定された引き込みコード380が圧縮された渦巻きばね320によってドラムに巻きつけられることで配線コード20引き込まれて、袖部16と軸受ハウジング13の側壁21との間には弛んだ配線コード20はないことになる。
