以下、図面により本発明の実施の形態を詳細に説明する。
図1は本発明の画像形成装置における操作パネルのレイアウト図である。本操作パネル1は、スタートキー2、テンキー3等の各種キー群及び文字表示盤4を有しており、またその隅部には、操作パネル1の位置(存在)、及び電源が入力されていることを報知するためのLED5を有している。
