私たちの地球は、豊かな包容力でさまざまな生物を育み、また人類の広範かつ活発な活動を支えている。しかし、近年の人類の活動は、地球の包容力の限界を超え、多くの生物との共存はおろか、私たち人類の存続さえも危うくしている。

そこで、機器の開発・設計・稼動にあたっては、環境との調和を常に把握し、汚染予防、エネルギーや資源の有効利用、及び廃棄物の削減と責任ある処理を行う必要があり、機器の企画・開発・設計・購買・生産から販売・物流・使用・廃棄に至るすべての段階において、環境への負荷が少なく安全に配慮することが必要となる。

特に、パソコン、プリンタ、複写機、ファクス、スキャナ等のＯＡ機器は、ライフサイクルが短く、つぎつぎと新製品が市場に投入されるため、製品の寿命が尽きるまで使用されることは希であり、些細な故障があるとか、使用可能であるにも拘わらず、新機能を備えていないという理由で、使われなくなってしまうことがある。

このような状況は、より高機能の製品を求め続けるというユーザの指向がある限り今後も増える傾向にあり、また、最近のＩＴ技術の進展を考慮すると、ＯＡ機器は、ますます短いサイクルで大量使用されることが予想されている。

一方、環境問題や資源の有効利用が喧伝される中、些細な故障が存在するために使用されなくなったＯＡ機器を効果的にリユースすることが、今後ますます重要となる。

ところが、従来は、ＯＡ機器の分野では、簡単な修理をするか、又は修理しなくても使える電気製品であっても、廃棄処分されることが多かった。例えば、リース満了機の処理は、リース会社で独自に行っているが、廃棄処分とされている場合が多い。

また、環境問題や資源の有効利用を考慮して、ＯＡ機器をリサイクル又はリユースすることが、一部において行われている。

しかしながら、一部において、リサイクル又はリユースが行われているものの、誰もが、いつでも、ＯＡ機器を中古機として適正価額で市場に供給し、又は購入できる市場はできていない。

本発明は、上記問題に鑑みなされたものであり、機器を中古機として適正価額で市場に供給し、又は購入できる市場を生成可能とする中古機販売システム、中古機販売方法、中古機リースシステム及び中古機販売プログラムを提供することを目的とするものである。

次に、本発明の実施の形態について図面と共に説明する。図１のシステムは、ＯＡ機器を中古機として適正価額で市場に供給し、又は購入できる市場を生成可能とする中古機販売システムである。
