TECHNICAL FIELD OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to improvements in data communication equipment.
[0002]
[Prior art]
Currently, as a telephone line, a line of Nippon Telegraph and Telephone Corporation (hereinafter, referred to as “NTT” in this specification) (hereinafter, referred to as “NTT line” in this specification) has the oldest history. In addition, the "general telephone line" often means the "NTT line".
[0003]
On the other hand, the so-called "Shindenden 3 companies (NCC)" of the present applicant, Daini Denden Co., Ltd., and Japan Telecom Co., Ltd., build and maintain their own communication network and develop and provide their own communication services. ing.
[0004]
As a result, as a telecommunications network at present, “NTT line”, “Teleway line” (hereinafter the same) which is a communication network constructed by the present applicant, Daini Denden Co., Ltd. and Japan Telecom Co., Ltd. Each of the constructed communication networks coexists, so that the general user can freely select which communication network to use each time of telephone communication.
The situation is the same for data communication.
[0005]
Here, with reference to FIG. 5, a conventional data communication using a teleway line of the present applicant will be described.
In FIG. 5, when data is transmitted from a personal computer or a telephone or other caller equipment 10 to the server 12, the equipment 10 first connects the NTT line (general telephone line) NTNW and the first interconnection point P-1. To the teleway line TWNW via Then, in the teleway line TWNW, the first transit exchange RC-1 corresponding to the first interconnection point P-1 determines and selects the second transit exchange RC-2 corresponding to the server 12, and connects it. I do. Then, it connects to the server 12 via the second interconnection point P-2 and the NTT line NTNW. As a result, the data transmitted from the caller equipment 10 is received by the server 12.
[0006]
On the other hand, when data is transmitted from the server 12 to the caller equipment 10, the reverse operation is performed. That is, the server 12 is connected to the teleway line TWNW via the NTT line NTNW and the second interconnection point P-2, and the second transit exchange RC-2 in the teleway line TWNW corresponds to the caller equipment 10. The first transit exchange RC-1 is determined and selected and connected. Then, the connection is made to the caller equipment 10 via the first interconnection point P-1 and the NTT line NTNW, and the data transmitted from the server 12 is received by the caller equipment 10.
[0007]
Here, in the above-described prior art described with reference to FIG. 5, the data communication service is provided in a form in which the NTT line is connected to both ends of the teleway line. It depends on the distance to the equipment (or server).
[0008]
However, in the case of data communication that is frequently used in business and the like, at present, when the business itself is developed on a nationwide basis, a nationwide uniform fee service is required rather than a distance-based fee system. A data communication service that can meet such a request has not been developed at present.
[0009]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION The present invention has been proposed in view of the above-mentioned demands, and enables a data communication service that can be provided at a flat rate nationwide. It is an object of the present invention to provide a data communication facility that can be applied in combination with a communication network.
[0010]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
According to the present invention, a terminal (10) of a caller is connected to a general telephone line (1), and terminals (12) of other users are also connected to the general telephone line (1). In the equipment, another terminal (14) that can be used as a mobile phone is connected to another general telephone line (2), and the general telephone line (1) and the other general telephone line (2) are connected to a receiving line network (3). ), The receiving line network (3) is connected to a transit exchange (6) in a network center (TC), and the transit exchange (6) is directly connected to customer equipment (11). When the receiving line network (3) dials a logical number from the terminal (10) of the caller, the call is connected from the general telephone line (1), and the transit exchange (6) identifies the charging system from the logical number and originates the call. Check subscribers and connect in case of user billing A subscriber exchange unit to convert the logical number into a physical number, connect to the destination by the physical number, and directly receive a call at the customer equipment (11). are doing.
[0011]
According to the present invention, a customer facility (11) provided in the network center (TC) is connected to a server (21) provided in the customer (B) via a dedicated line (20), After the call arrives at the customer facility (11), it arrives at the server (21).
In the present specification, the term “dedicated line” is used as a comprehensive term that includes all of a so-called dedicated line, frame relay, cell relay, telephone line, and ISDN line.
[0012]
With this configuration, the user can access data received at the called party's equipment in the teleway line under a flat rate service nationwide from equipment outside the teleway line.
[0013]
BEST MODE FOR CARRYING OUT THE INVENTION
Hereinafter, embodiments of the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings.
FIG. 1 shows the entire configuration of a reception service facility, which is a non-voice data communication service for transmitting and receiving data according to the data communication method according to the present invention. 1 shows an embodiment in the case where no such operation is performed.
[0014]
The caller equipment, for example, the terminal 10 is connected to a line (for example, an ISDN line) 10a of the NTT line network 1, which is a general telephone line, and is connected to a terminal 12 of another user (hereinafter referred to as an end user) nationwide. Is also connected to the NTT network 1 via the line 12a. The terminal 14, which can also be used as a mobile phone, is connected to another general telephone line (for example, an Aster network) 2 through another line (for example, a PHS line) 14a.
[0015]
Further, the NTT network 1 and the Aster network 2 are connected to a reception line network 3 which is a specific communication line network via an interconnection point 4 and an interconnection point 5, respectively. The receiving line network 3 is connected to a transit exchange 6 in a facility (for example, a teleway network center) TC in the circuit network, and the transit exchange 6 is connected to a caller (customer) provided in the center TC. ) It is directly connected to the facility 11 by a PRI line 7 (equivalent to INS 1500), a BRI line 9 (equivalent to INS 64) and an analog line 8. The arrow X indicates the direction of the flow of a so-called “call”.
[0016]
Hereinafter, the connection procedure will be described with reference to FIG.
First, a logical number that is a telephone number from the caller 10:
0070-6XX-XXXXXX
Is dialed (step S1). This call flows through the NTT line.
[0017]
Next, a connection is made from the NTT line to the teleway line via the interconnection point (POI) 4 (step S2). Next, the trunking exchange 6 identifies the billing method based on the telephone number, checks the subscriber in the case of caller billing, and uses the telephone number to switch between the Kashiwa or Osaka subscriber exchanges (built-in or external to the trunking exchange 6). (Attachment) (Step S3).
[0018]
The telephone exchange is converted from a logical number to a physical number (a unique number within a service area) at a subscriber exchange in a teleway network center (not shown) (configured in the same manner as in FIG. 1) in Kashiwa or Osaka, and The billing method is identified, and a connection is made to the destination using the physical number (step S4). Then, the call is directly received at the customer facility (server) in the teleway center (step S5).
[0019]
In the embodiment shown in FIGS. 1 and 2, the NTT line is not used on the receiving side. The terminal 10 to the POI 4 are connected by a general telephone line (NTT line in the illustrated example), and the usage fee is set to be uniform. Therefore, a low-cost data communication service can be provided nationwide.
[0020]
FIG. 3 shows another embodiment of the present invention, in which a customer facility (access server) 11a provided in the teleway network center TC to a server 21 (callee facility) provided in the customer building B. In this embodiment, connection is made via a dedicated line 20 or the like. However, except for this point, the configuration is substantially the same as that of the first embodiment shown in FIGS.
[0021]
The connection procedure of the embodiment of FIG. 3 will be described with reference to FIG. Steps S1-S5 in FIG. 2 are the same as steps S1-S5 in FIG. However, the embodiment shown in FIGS. 3 and 4 is the same except that a step (step S6) of receiving a call from the access server 11a to the facility (server) in the customer building is added.
[0022]
【The invention's effect】
The present invention is configured as described above, and can provide the following excellent effects.
(1) In data communication, one is connected to a customer via an NTT line, and the other is directly connected to a specific communication line network and a customer. Therefore, the distance-dependent fee structure of the NTT line is not applied. .
(2) If the customer equipment is directly connected to a specific communication network via a dedicated line or the like, the customer equipment can connect to a specific partner, and billing corresponding to the distance is not performed.
(3) It is possible to provide a nationwide flat rate that does not depend on distance.
