Abstract
Description
【0001】

TECHNICAL FIELD OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a hazardous substance monitoring device, a monitoring method, and a monitoring / purifying system for monitoring a hazardous substance existing in an environment.
[0002]
[Prior art]
Wastewater, rivers, lakes, marshes, oceans, soil, waste leachate, and the like contain various harmful substances that impair human health (hereinafter simply referred to as harmful substances). Some of these harmful substances are highly toxic, which have a serious adverse effect on the human body even in a small amount, and others are harmful to the human body if a small amount is allowed but is present in a large amount. For example, in the former, various harmful substances shown in Table 1 exist, and in the latter, various harmful substances shown in Table 2 exist.
[0003]
Regarding these harmful substances, from the viewpoint of protection of the global environment and protection of human health, as shown in Tables 1 and 2, the effluent standard values from specific business establishments and the environmental standard values permitted in the environment are respectively regulated by law. And its ordinances, and its emissions and abundance are legally regulated. For this reason, dedicated purification equipment is provided at the treatment plant and drainage channel at the specific business site to regulate the total amount of harmful substances discharged, and public purification equipment is also used for domestic wastewater flowing into general rivers and lakes. Etc. are spreading.
[0004]
However, even now that the total amount of harmful substances has been regulated, harmful substances may need to be set higher than the standard value due to various factors, and it is necessary to establish a monitoring system for harmful substances.
[0005]
In order to respond to such social demands, for example, JP-A-9-61420, JP-A-7-63725, JP-A-5-10921, and JP-A-2001-96295 disclose harmful substances in a specific area. Various techniques for monitoring an object have been proposed.
[0006]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
However, in these conventional monitoring technologies, quantitative measurement of harmful substances, which is performed periodically or as needed in a specific monitoring target area, requires a lot of time, so that the harmful substance measurement data is immediately effective for operation of the purification device. Not reflected.
[0007]
In addition, since many conventional measuring instruments and analyzing apparatuses are large and cannot be brought to the site, a measurement result cannot be obtained at a sampling place. For example, when the monitoring target is contaminated soil, the sample soil collected on site is transported to a separate place equipped with an analyzer and analyzed using a stationary method, which requires a great deal of labor and time.
[0008]
Further, in the conventional sampling method, for example, as shown in FIG. 4A, the monitoring target area is divided into a plurality of small areas A1 to C3, and one by one from around the
[0009]
As described above, the related art has various problems, and there is a demand from various fields concerned for further enhancement of a harmful substance monitoring system in the monitoring target area.
[0010]
The present invention has been made in order to solve the above-mentioned problems, and it is possible to quantitatively measure harmful substances present in a monitoring target area online in real time in real time, and to promptly reflect the measurement results in operating conditions of a purification device. It is an object of the present invention to provide a harmful substance monitoring method and a monitoring / purification system that can perform harmful substances.
[0011]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
The harmful substance monitoring method according to the present invention is a harmful substance monitoring method for quickly and quantitatively measuring harmful substances present in a specific monitoring target area on the spot, and providing measurement information. The raw material is collected, and (b) the collected raw material is supplied to a narrow flow path of a microreactor so that harmful substances to be monitored contained in the raw material can be measured. The method is characterized in that the monitoring target harmful substance is detected in the flow path, and (d) the detected data is converted into a signal and transmitted to an external data processing device.
[0012]
The system for monitoring and purifying harmful substances according to the present invention comprises: (i) a raw material supply unit that takes in raw materials from a monitoring target area; and (ii) a raw material supply unit that takes in the collected raw materials into a narrow flow path, and (Iii) a measuring unit having a detector for detecting the harmful substance to be monitored in a narrow channel of the microreactor; and (iv) A) a measurement signal output unit for converting data detected by the measurement unit into a signal and transmitting the data to an external data processing device; and (v) discharging a reaction product generated by the processing unit from the flow path of the microreactor. (Vi) a liquid supply means for supplying the raw material at a predetermined pressure toward a narrow flow path of the microreactor; and (vii) a raw material supply section, the processing section, Measuring unit, measurement signal output unit, product discharge A power supply unit for supplying power to the liquid sending means, (viii) a purification device for removing or detoxifying harmful substances contained in the raw material in the monitoring target area, and (ix) data detected by the measurement unit. A measurement signal output section that converts the signal into a signal, and (x) receives a signal output from the measurement signal output section, obtains an actual measurement value of the harmful substance based on the detection data, and converts the actual measurement value to a predetermined predetermined value. And (xi) information is transmitted and received between the data processing means via a communication line, and in the comparison information obtained from the data processing means, the measured value is equal to the reference value. And control means capable of operating the purifying device when the value exceeds.
[0013]
In this case, it is preferable that the processing unit has a plurality of micro-reactors. The part preferably has. By combining a plurality of micro-reactors and detectors in this way, it is possible to detect multiple components simultaneously in one measurement in real time, and quickly and multilaterally detect harmful substances present in the environment on the spot. You will be able to monitor.
[0014]
In addition, the raw material supply unit, the processing unit, the measurement unit, the measurement signal output unit, the product discharge unit, the liquid sending unit, the power supply unit, and the control unit are desirably housed in a single container. It is desirable to be able to run autonomously by being mounted on a power source. In this manner, multipoint measurement can be performed over a wide area in the monitoring area, and a monitoring system with higher accuracy than the fixed point measurement method can be established.
[0015]
In addition, it is possible to measure harmful substances at multiple points not only in the plane direction but also in the depth direction, so that the three-dimensional contamination distribution status can be grasped with high accuracy, and the purification process of the monitoring target area can be efficiently performed. It is possible to do. For example, when the monitoring target is contaminated soil, the consumption of chemicals and the like used in the purification treatment can be significantly reduced, and thus the treatment cost is reduced as a whole.
[0016]
Usually, the flow path in the microreactor has a rectangular cross section or a circular cross section having a width of 20 to 500 μm and a depth of 20 to 100 μm. In this case, the width of the flow path is desirably 100 ± 20 μm. When the width and the depth of the flow path are less than 20 μm, the pressure loss becomes excessive and the liquid does not easily flow. On the other hand, if the channel width and the depth exceed 100 μm, it takes too much time to extract harmful substances from the raw material into the organic solvent, and the purpose of rapid detection cannot be achieved. However, since the two-layer flow of the reagent solution and the organic solvent is formed in the depth direction of the flow channel, if the depth of the flow channel is regulated to 100 μm or less, the flow channel is defined as a range where the influence of diffusion does not appear. The width can be extended up to 500 μm.
[0017]
Further, the solvent is supplied to the narrow flow path to form a two-layer flow of the mixed liquid of the raw material / reagent liquid and the solvent in the narrow flow path, and the reaction product in the mixed liquid of the raw material / reagent liquid is converted to the solvent. When the extraction is performed at a time, it is desirable that the effective length at which a two-layer flow of the reagent solution and the organic solvent is formed in the flow path of the microreactor is set to 20 to 50 mm. If the length of the flow path is less than 20 mm, it is not possible to extract a sufficient amount of harmful substances for detection, and the measurement accuracy deteriorates.
[0018]
On the other hand, if the flow path length exceeds 50 mm, the pressure loss increases and the measurement time increases. Usually, when performing measurement by combining a microreactor and an optical detector, the measurement time is usually about several tens of seconds to several tens of minutes. Atomic absorption spectroscopy (AAS), high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC), gas chromatography (PT-GC (ECD) (FID)), gas chromatography (HS-GC), Solvent extraction gas chromatography (solvent extraction GC), plasma emission analysis / atomic emission analysis (ISP-AES), plasma emission mass spectrometry (ISP-MS) and the like. As a light emitting element of the optical detector, a photodiode or a laser oscillator can be used.
[0019]
Some harmful substances require an incubation period of about one hour from the start of mixing the raw materials and reagents to the completion of the reaction, but most harmful substances are in a state that can be measured in a short time. can do. When a substance having a long incubation period is measured as described above, the reaction rate may be increased by heating the solution to be measured in the reaction channel with a heater.
[0020]
For example, when the measurement target is a heavy metal, a reagent is first mixed with a raw material to generate a metal complex (for example, a Cu complex or a Co complex). A two-layer flow of the measurement solution is formed, and the reaction product is extracted into the organic solvent. Since some of the substances to be measured are insoluble in the organic solvent, the addition and injection of the organic solvent into the reaction channel is not essential but arbitrary. In addition, coexisting substances that hinder the measurement move into the organic solvent, and the measurement sample may remain in the aqueous layer.
[0021]
Further, the discharge pressure of the liquid sending means is 10 to 200 kgf / cm. 2 It is desirable to use a micropump. Pump discharge pressure is 10kgf / cm 2 When it is less than, it becomes difficult to send the liquid to the flow path of the microreactor. On the other hand, the pump discharge pressure is 200 kgf / cm 2 If the pressure exceeds the above range, the liquid may leak from the gap between the substrate and the lid constituting the microreactor, or the peripheral wall of the flow path may be broken (usually, the adhered lid may be separated from the substrate). Because there is. Therefore, it is necessary to carefully control the pump discharge pressure according to the structure and material of the microreactor. In addition, various drive methods such as a syringe method, a cylinder method, a rotary method, and an axial flow method can be adopted as a drive method of the micropump. 3 It is preferable to set the following.
[0022]
Usually, transparent quartz glass is used as the constituent members (substrate and lid) of the microreactor, and photolithography technology is used to form the flow path. In addition to quartz glass, soda ash glass, corrosion-resistant engineering plastic, silicon, stainless steel, titanium, titanium alloy, and the like can be used as the substrate material of the microreactor.
[0023]
In addition, the data processing device receives the detection data, grasps the distribution status of the harmful substance amount based on the received data, displays this on a screen, and remotely monitors the temporal change of the harmful substance amount in the monitoring target area in real time. It is desirable. The operator of the specific office can see the distribution status of the amount of harmful substances displayed on the screen and can quickly cope with the rise of harmful substances in the monitored area.
[0024]
Further, it is desirable to display a temporal change of the amount of harmful substances in the monitoring target area on a screen in real time via a communication line. Monitor specific business establishments and public monitored areas on behalf of users (businesses or public institutions) and provide information to the users in advance when the amount of harmful substances increases and exceeds the standard value . This allows the user to operate the purifying device and maintain a healthy environment below the reference value for preventive maintenance.
[0025]
Further, the actual measured value of the harmful substance is obtained based on the detection data, the actual measured value is compared with a predetermined reference value set in advance, and when the actual measured value exceeds the reference value in the comparison result, the purification device is activated. Or increase its availability. It is desirable from the viewpoint of environmental protection to operate the purifier at all times, but it is not desirable from the viewpoint of operating costs because energy consumption costs increase. Therefore, by using the present invention, the amount of harmful substances in the monitoring target area is measured on the spot in real time, and the purification device is efficiently operated in accordance with the result, whereby the energy consumption cost can be reduced.

As is clear from the characteristic line A in the figure, when the channel depth d1 is 20 μm or more, the pressure loss is so small as to be negligible, but when the channel depth d1 falls below 20 μm, the pressure loss sharply increases. From this, it was found that it is preferable that the depth d1 of the flow path of the microreactor be 20 μm or more.

[0068]
Next, the advantages of the present invention will be described with reference to FIG.
[0069]
In the conventional sampling method, as shown in FIG. 4A, a monitoring target area is equally divided into a plurality of small areas A1 to C3, and a sample is represented one by one from a central portion of each of the areas A1 to C3. From the analysis results, each area was classified and evaluated in three stages according to the degree of contamination. That is, the area determined to be highly contaminated is the area requiring purification (shaded shaded area), and the area contaminated but determined to be low is contaminated in the pollution monitoring area (shaded area). Areas determined not to be present are respectively classified into non-contaminated areas (blank areas). In the example shown in the figure, since the soil in the purification areas B2, C1, and C2, which have a high degree of contamination, must be excavated and purified, the consumption of chemicals becomes enormous and the purification processing cost becomes excessive. I was

According to this embodiment, the monitoring target area is finely and finely divided using a large number of monitoring posts, and the amount of harmful substances is measured both in the plane direction and in the depth direction. Therefore, the state of contamination distribution by harmful substances is monitored with high accuracy. And an efficient purification process can be performed accordingly.
[0072]
Further, according to the present embodiment, harmful substances in the monitoring target area can be detected on the spot in real time (on-site measurement). Further, a plurality of harmful substances in the solution can be simultaneously detected by the microreactor (simultaneous multi-component detection). Further, the detection data can be sent to an external information station (monitoring center) by the transmitter, and the distribution status of the amount of harmful substances in the measurement target area can be remotely monitored based on the received data (real-time remote monitoring).

For this reason, it becomes possible to operate the purifying device properly in accordance with the pollution distribution status of the monitoring target area, thereby reducing the operating cost of the purifying device and extending the life of the purifying device.

(Third embodiment)
Next, a third embodiment will be described with reference to FIGS. Note that the description of the portions of this embodiment that overlap with the above-described embodiments will be omitted.

The monitoring and purification system according to the present embodiment distributes data measured in a plurality of monitoring target areas to a plurality of users via a dedicated line or an information communication line such as the Internet, and the user accordingly performs preventive maintenance of the purification device. It is a system that can be operated in an automated manner.

The measurement of harmful substances in the monitoring target area may be performed only for a certain period (for example, one year), or within a range of equipment life (for example, 20 years from the start of operation) without limitation. May be performed until the user requests to stop measurement.
[0088]
The form of the information provided to the user is, for example, a table form as shown in FIG. 17, a graph form as shown in FIGS. 18 to 20, or a mixed form combining a table and a graph (see FIG. 17). ), A three-dimensional (3D) graphic display format (not shown), and a display format in which a moving image is partially inserted (not shown).
[0089]
FIG. 17 is a diagram illustrating an example of a performance report in which monitoring data on a plurality of regions and users are summarized in a list. These data are distributed directly to each user via a dedicated line. In addition, data of a user who has obtained consent for disclosure of information may be posted on a homepage on the Internet and provided for general browsing. The figures show examples of daily, weekly, and monthly actual records. In addition, actual records every two, three, four, and six months can be posted on the website. It is. These records can be easily opened by simply clicking on the screen information about various sizes of regions, such as the nationwide version of the telephone directory, the Kanto Koshinetsu version, the Kanagawa version, and the Yokohama city version. You can do it.
[0090]
FIG. 18 is a graph showing an example of daily monitoring data distributed for each user. In the figure, an example of the detection result every hour is shown by a polygonal line E. However, it is of course possible to continuously measure the detected value that changes every moment in real time and record all the detected values.
[0091]
FIG. 19 is a graph showing an example of weekly monitoring data distributed for each user. In the figure, the result of integrating the harmful substance detection values measured for the whole day for each day of the week is indicated by a broken line F as a measured amount integrated value.
[0092]
FIG. 20 is a graph showing an example of monthly monitoring data distributed for each user. In the figure, the results obtained by integrating the harmful substance detection values measured for the entire day for each day are indicated by a polygonal line G as the power generation integrated value. It can be seen from the figure that after shifting from the low density levels G2 and G4 to the high density levels G1 and G3, the period of the high density levels G1 and G3 is shortened because the user has taken quick and appropriate action.
[0093]
Table 1 lists 30 types of harmful substances as health hazard-related substances, and shows the effluent standards, environmental standards, whether or not an online analyzer is used, and the measurement methods specified by laws and regulations, respectively. Here, the “health-hazardous substance” means a substance that is harmful to the human body even in a small amount.
[0094]
Table 2 lists 18 types of harmful substances as living environment-related substances, and shows the effluent standards, environmental standards, the use of online analyzers, and the measurement methods of specific business establishments specified by laws and regulations. Here, the "living environment-related substance" means a substance that does not substantially affect health at a level lower than the reference level, but is harmful to the human body when present in a large amount exceeding the reference level.
[0095]
Next, the effects of the present invention will be described with reference to Tables 3 to 5.
[0096]
Table 3 lists the advantages of the microreactor used in the present invention. The use of a microreactor firstly reduces the number of analysis steps and significantly shortens the time required for analysis, secondly enables ultra-high-sensitivity analysis, and thirdly enables multi-component analysis at the same time. Fourthly, there are various advantages such as an extremely small amount of reagents and the like discarded after the analysis, and fifthly, the downsizing of the apparatus.
[0097]
For example, the flow path of a microreactor has a large specific boundary area, and the diffusion time of the solution to be measured in the microreactor is extremely fast, from several seconds to several minutes (one tenth of a conventional rate), and the reaction speed is low. The measurement result can be obtained quickly because the number of times is several times that of the analyzer. Further, the liquid flowing through the flow path of the microreactor is in a laminar flow state, and operations such as extraction and separation are easy. Also, a special detector such as a thermal lens microscope can be used in combination with a microreactor. Further, it is possible to cope with an appropriate processing amount by combining a chip having a built-in microreactor.
[0098]
Table 4 shows the present invention in comparison with the conventional method for various items of environmental hormone analysis. In the conventional method, for example, when analyzing a phthalate ester, a suitable amount of a reagent and an organic solvent are added to one liter of a sample, and shaking extraction is repeated twice, concentrated by a rotary evaporator, and nitrogen gas is blown into the liquid. It is concentrated and separated and analyzed by gas chromatography mass spectrometry (GC-MS). On the other hand, in the present invention, the sample / reagent mixture is directly brought into contact with the organic solvent in the flow path of the microreactor, and is continuously processed on one chip. Things can be detected.
[0099]
Comparing the two, the latter has 1/4 the number of steps, the analysis time is about 1/20, the amount of waste is about 1/1000, the detection sensitivity is about 1/1000, and the apparatus size is about Each is reduced to 1/50. In particular, while the conventional method required seven hours to obtain an analysis result, the present invention can obtain an analysis result in about several tens of minutes, so that real-time monitoring becomes possible.
[0100]
Table 5 shows the present invention in comparison with the conventional method for each of the measurement points, simultaneous monitoring, and required reagent amount. The conventional method is a fixed-point measurement only for leachate existing immediately before the purification treatment apparatus, and cannot accurately grasp the pollution status of the entire monitoring target area, and therefore cannot predict the pollution distribution. On the other hand, the present invention makes it possible to measure leachate around the purification system, measure the depth of the landfill, and measure the landfill in the horizontal direction, and accurately determine the pollution status of the entire monitored area. And the distribution of contamination can be predicted. Further, while the purification apparatus is always operated in the conventional method, the present invention enables the purification apparatus to operate properly in accordance with the state of contamination distribution.
[0101]
In the conventional method, a large number of monitoring devices are required according to the measurement items, so that the equipment cost increases. On the other hand, according to the present invention, multiple components can be simultaneously measured by one monitoring device in which measurement items are combined, so that equipment costs can be significantly reduced.
[0102]
In the conventional method, the reagent consumption increases as the number of measurement objects increases, but in the present invention, the reagent consumption is small even when the number of measurement objects increases due to the combination of the microreactor and the microsensor.

【The invention's effect】
ADVANTAGE OF THE INVENTION According to this invention, the harmful | toxic substance in the solution in a measurement target area can be detected on the spot in real time (in-situ detection).
[0114]
Further, according to the present invention, a plurality of harmful substances in a solution can be simultaneously detected by a microreactor (simultaneous multi-component detection).
[0115]
Further, according to the present invention, the detection data can be sent to an external information station (monitoring center) by the transmitter, and the distribution status of the harmful substance amount in the measurement target area can be remotely monitored based on the received data (monitoring accuracy of monitoring). Improvement).
[0116]
Further, according to the present invention, since the monitoring target area is subdivided by a large number of monitoring posts and harmful substances are finely detected, the amount of excavation of the soil to be purified is smaller than before, and the consumption of the purification chemical is reduced. Can be greatly reduced (reduction of purification cost).
[0117]
Further, according to the present invention, when the harmful substance amount deviates from the initially set range (reference value) of the harmful substance amount in the measurement target area, the operation of the purification device can be controlled based on the measurement result (the purification device). High efficiency operation).
[0118]
Furthermore, according to the present invention, by mounting on a self-propelled power source, it is possible to freely move within the monitoring target area and select an arbitrary measurement point, and it is possible to collect measurement data over a wide range. The distribution of contamination can be grasped with high accuracy (non-fixed point measurement).
