Abstract

<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a self-propelling soil improving machine for efficiently improving soil and obtaining soil with high quality at a site of the soil improvement, without requiring a number of working machines or causing nuisance to neighboring areas, a self-propelling soil improving system and a soil improving method. <P>SOLUTION: A hopper 10, into which earth and sand to be improved are supplied by an hydraulic shovel, is mounted on the front part of a vehicle body 9 mounted on a hopper travelling body of the self-propelling soil improving machine 1. 【発明の属する技術分野】
本発明は、軟弱な地盤を改良して地盤強化を行うため等に用いられる自走式土質改良機と自走式土質改良システムと土質改良方法に関する。

【従来の技術】
道路工事や基礎工事あるいはガス管や上下水道管の埋設工事においては、土質が軟弱であるため、セメントや石灰等の改良材を加えて土質を適度な粒度、含水率、硬さにして埋め戻す必要がある場合がある。

このような土質改良を行う土質改良機には、据え付け式(定置式)の土質改良機と自走式のものとがある。据え付け式の土質改良機は、現場で掘削された改良すべき土砂を土質改良機が設置された場所まで輸送し、その土質改良機のある場所まで輸送されてきた土砂に改良材を混合し、その改良土砂を再度現場まで輸送して埋め戻す必要がある。

一方、自走式土質改良機は、現場に搬入可能であることから、このような輸送に要する手間、時間、経費を省略することができる。従来の自走式土質改良機は、車体の前方に改良すべき土砂を投入するホッパを設置し、中央部に改良材を蓄えておく容器を搭載し、その下方に土砂と容器からの改良材とを混合する混合装置を設置し、混合装置より落下した改良土砂をコンベアにより車体の後方に搬出して集積させる構成を有している(例えば特許文献1参照。)。

また、現場において軟弱地盤を改良する他の手段として、土壌に石灰等の改良材を散布した後、スタビライザーやバケットにより土壌を攪拌して土壌を改良する方法もある。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
上述のような従来の自走式土質改良機は、コンベアにより自走式土質改良機の後方に改良土砂を搬出、集積させて土質改良を行うものであるため、後方に集積した改良土砂を埋め戻し箇所に搬送してブルドーザ等により均して埋め戻す必要があり、作業機の台数が多くなる上、作業に時間がかかるという問題点がある。また、改良土砂を集積させておく場所が必要であり、狭い現場では作業しにくいという問題点もある。

一方、現場において改良材を散布して攪拌する方法によると、改良材が均一に混ぜることが困難であって、土壌品質が悪くなると共に、散布される改良材が飛散することにより近隣に迷惑を及ぼすという問題点がある。

本発明は、上記問題点に鑑み、土壌を改良する現場において、多くの作業機や広い場所を要することなく、かつ近隣に迷惑をかけることなく、土質改良を能率良く行うことができかつ高い土壌品質が得られる自走式土質改良機と自走式土質改良システムと土質改良方法を提供することを目的とする。

【課題を解決するための手段】
(1)本発明の自走式土質改良機は、走行体上に設置した車体上の前部に改良すべき土砂を投入するホッパを搭載し、前記車体上の前記ホッパより後方に改良材を蓄えておく容器を搭載し、前記車体上に、前記容器から供給される前記改良材と、前記ホッパから送りこまれる土砂とを混合する混合装置を設置し、該混合装置から排出される改良材混合後の改良土砂を前記車体の前方に搬送して落下させるコンベアを設けたことを特徴とする。

このように、改良土砂を自走式土質改良機の前方に搬出する構成とすれば、排出された改良土砂を掘削された箇所に埋め戻しつつ、自走式土質改良機の走行体により踏みしめながら土質改良を行うことができる。従って、従来のように自走式土質改良機の後方に搬出、集積させた改良土砂を搬送し埋め戻す作業が不要となり、このため、広い場所を確保する必要がなくなり、狭隘な場所でも容易に作業が行える。また、能率よくかつ1台の自走式土質改良機で土質改良と埋め戻し作業を行うことができ、作業機の台数を少なくすることができる。また、土質の改良は混合装置により行われるので、改良材の混合が均一に行われ、高品質の改良土砂が得られる上、改良材が飛散して近隣に迷惑をかけるという問題も生じない。

【発明の実施の形態】
図1は本発明の土質改良方法を実施する自走式土質改良システムの一実施の形態を示す側面図である。このシステムは、自走式土質改良機1と、掘削積み込み機としての油圧ショベル2とからなる。油圧ショベル2は、クローラ式走行体3上に旋回装置4を介して旋回体5を設置し、旋回体5に多関節フロント6を取付け、その先端にバケット7を取付けたものである。

一方自走式土質改良機1は、図2の側面図、図3の平面図、図4(A)の正面図に示すように、クローラ8aを有するクローラ式走行体8上に車体9を設置し、車体9の前部に土砂を投入するホッパ10を搭載する。また、ホッパ10より後方(本例では車体9の中央部)には、セメントや石灰等の改良材を蓄えておく容器11を搭載する。車体9の後部には油圧パワーユニット12を搭載する。

車体9における容器11の下方には定量供給装置13が設けられる。また、容器11の下方には、定量供給装置13により供給される改良材と、ホッパ10の下方に設置されたコンベア14により供給される土砂とを混合する混合装置15を設置する。前記定量供給装置13は、回転軸に例えば4枚の羽根を取付け、上面に位置する羽根の間に定量の改良材を収容してこれを回転させることにより、羽根が下面に向いた時にその羽根間の改良材を下方に落下させるもので、改良すべき土砂の軟弱度合等応じてその回転数を制御することにより、好適な硬さ、含水率、粒度の改良土砂が得られるようにしている。

前記混合装置15は、図4(B)に示すように、偶数本の回転軸15aを併設し、各回転軸15aにパドル15bを取付けたものであり、対をなす回転軸15a、15aを土砂が両者間に挟まる方向に回転させることにより、土砂と改良材とを混合し、排出口15c(図2参照)から排出するものである。

自走式土質改良機1においては、ホッパ10に投入された土砂を、コンベア14の作動により所定時間当たり定量ずつ混合装置15に供給し、一方、容器11に蓄えられた改良材を定量供給装置13により混合装置15に供給して混合する。図1に示すように、混合装置15において改良材が混合された改良土砂18は、コンベア16により自走式土質改良機1の前方より地面に搬出され埋め戻される。地面に落下した改良土砂19は、自走式土質改良機1をクローラ8aがその埋め戻された土砂上を走行するようにジグザグに走行させる等により、均すことができる。このような均しのための走行は、混合装置15による混合をしながらでも、一旦中止した状態で行ってもよい。また、自走式土質改良機1の前方に位置する油圧ショベル2で、土壌の掘削の合間にバケット7による均しを行うこともできる。

このようなシステムを用い、地面に排出された改良土砂は、走行により均しながら連続的に能率良く行える。すなわち改良土砂を後方に搬出する場合のように改良土砂を後方に集積させることがないため、集積のための場所は不要になる。また、その集積した土砂を再度埋め戻す必要がなく、効率よく作業が行える。また埋め戻すための作業機も不要となり、少数の作業機で作業を行うことができる。また、混合装置15により土砂に改良材を混合するので、地面に改良材を散布する必要がなく、近隣に改良材を飛散させる迷惑も発生させることなく、かつ改良材が均一に混合され、高品質の改良土砂を供給することができる。

図5は本発明の土質改良方法を実施する自走式土質改良システムの他の実施の形態であり、図6、図7はこのシステムに用いる自走式土質改良機1Aの側面図、正面図である。この自走式土質改良機1Aは、走行体1のフレームまたは図示のように車体9の前部に、地面を均すためのブレード20を、油圧シリンダ21等のような上下位置調整装置により位置調整自在に取付けたものである。また、該ブレード20は、前記改良土砂搬出用コンベア16の前端、すなわち排出端より後方となるように(コンベア16の前端,すなわち排出端がブレード20の前方に位置するように)構成している。

このようなブレード20を設ければ、自走式土質改良機1Aを走行させてブレード20によって均すことにより、改良土壌を容易かつ平坦に均すことができる。また、コンベア16の前端の位置を、ブレード20の位置より前方とすることにより、改良土砂を自走式土質改良機1Aの前方より地面に落下させ、自走式土質改良機1Aを前進させつつ、ブレード20により地面を均すことができる。

図11は図8で示したシステムを用いて例えば道路の掘削と同時に土質改良並びに埋め戻しを行っている作業状態を示す平面図である。このシステムにおいて、前記油圧ショベル2により道路36における所定の掘削幅(例えば1車線分の幅)Wについて掘削を行うと同時に、自走式土質改良機1Bにより土質改良を行い、改良土砂を自走式土質改良機1Bの前方より落下させて埋め戻す場合、前記旋回式コンベア23を左右に振って改良土砂を落下させることにより、掘削幅W全体にわたって改良土砂をまんべん無くほぼ均一な厚みに埋め戻すことができる。

また、このため、自走式土質改良機1Bによる走行あるいは人手による均し、もしくはブレード20による均し作業を必ずしも要することなく、もしくはその均し作業の作業量を著しく減少させることができる。このため、自走式土質改良機1Bは土質改良に専用することができ、自走式土質改良機1Bの土質改良作業のための稼働率が上がり、土質改良作業ないし全体の作業の能率が向上する。

本発明によれば、土壌を改良する現場において、多くの作業機や広い改良土砂集積場所を要することなく、かつ近隣に迷惑をかけることなく、土質改良を能率良く行うことができると共に、高品質の改良土砂が埋め戻されることから、高い土壌品質が得られる。
