Abstract

<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recoverable and recyclable packaging member with which damages at carrying products can be prevented, packing and unpacking time can be shortened, and carrying work can be rationalized. <P>SOLUTION: A base protection 16 to protect an expansion part 10, and a side protection cover 17 to integrally protect at least three side surfaces including the side surface of a product 1 with the base protection 16 disposed thereon and right and left side surfaces adjacent thereto are provided between the expansion part 10 of the product 1 and a packaging fixed base 12, and an engagement piece to be engaged with the packaging fixed base 12 is provided on the side protection cover 17 so that the product does not fall from the packaging fixed base 12 during the packing work. Damages are prevented when the product is carried or when the product falls, the packing and unpacking works are rationalized, and materials can be recovered and recycled by using corrugated fiberboard. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO

【発明の属する技術分野】
本発明は、主として電気温水器などの重量物の包装部材に関するものである。

【従来の技術】
従来のこの種の包装部材は、図１１に示すように、底板３０と、底板３０の前方かつ上方に配管用の空間３１を確保するための張り出し部３２を形成する配管ベ−ス３３と、配管ベース３３にねじ止め固定し、配管ベース３３の側面形状に沿った切り欠きコーナー部３４のある右側板３５と左側板３６と前面を覆う前板３７と、凸形の脚３８を有した製品３９に、包装用天カバー４０と、フォークリフトなどの運搬が可能な棚部４１を有した包装用固定台４２と、製品３９の側面の変形や傷付きを防ぐ複数枚の側面保護カバー４３を有し、製品３９は、脚３８を包装用固定台４２の上にボルト及びナット（図示せず）により締結することで固定され、輪状の包装用タテバンド４４により、包装用天カバー４０と包装用固定台４２を上下方向より固定し、包装用ヨコバンド４５により、側面保護カバー４３を製品３９と包装用固定台４２に固定した構成としている。なお、４６は簡易的なリフト式の台車であり、地面と包装用固定台４２の隙間４７にデッキ部４８を入れて運搬するものである。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
特に電気温水器の場合、近年貯湯容量の大型化が進み、製品重量が重くなる傾向にありフォークリフトによる運搬が望ましい。しかしながら、フォークリフトなどの重量物を運搬するための機械は必ずしも用意されておらず、従来の技術による、電気温水器などの縦形重量物の荷台への積み上げや積み下ろしや運搬作業は、多くの人手が必要となったが、昨今の合理化を追求した物流業務においては、簡易的なリフト式の運搬台車等を利用し、１人ないし少人数でこういった製品重量の重い電気温水器の運搬作業を行うケースが増え、これは大きな課題となっていた。

また、人手によりトラックの荷台への積み上げや積み下ろしを行った場合、側面保護カバーが荷台の角に引っかかったり、運搬者の手が製品の側面を支えたりする際に所定の位置からずれたり、脱落することが多く発生していた。そして、そういった状態で簡易的なリフト式台車で運搬すると、運搬時の台車の振動により台車と製品の側面がこすれたり、製品側面が台車に直接当たることにより、製品設置までの間に、製品の側面を傷付けたり、変形させたりする可能性が高くなるという課題があった。

さらに、側面保護カバーを複数枚取り付けるためには、包装用ヨコバンドで固定するまでの間、ゴムバンド等の他の固定手段で側面保護カバーを一時的に固定し、包装用ヨコバンドで固定後にゴムバンドを取り外すという作業が必要となることと、側面保護カバーの大きさも取り付ける側面によって適切な大きさが異なることにより包装部材の品種が増え、製造面においてもコストがかかるという課題があった。

一方、だからといってこのような課題を解決するために、木製の板を多用して枠状に成形し、製品側面を保護するような構成では製品を開梱した後にリサイクルできない多くの廃棄物を発生させてしまい環境保全の面で問題がある。

また、日本の住宅事情を考えると、設置床面積は小さい事が望まれ、大容量の貯湯を可能にするために製品高さは高くなる傾向にあり、さらに十分な配管接続作業スペースを確保しようとすると、製品の脚を高くする必要があり製品の高さはさらに高くなる。しかし、製品の高さが高くなると、トラックの荷台の高さ制限により、製品を横積みされるケースが多くなり、製品側面を損傷させる原因となっていた。

一方、底板の前方かつ上方に張り出し部を設ける構成は、脚の高さを高くすることなく配管スペースを確保でき、製品の高さも低くできるが、製品を落下させた場合の衝撃は、前板の荷重を受ける配管ベースにねじ止め固定された右側板あるいは左側板の切り欠きコーナー部近傍で大きくなる。

よって、人手により高さのあるトラックの荷台から製品を降ろす時に、手の滑りなどにより製品を落下した場合は、上記の右側板あるいは左側板の切り欠きコーナー部近傍での損傷が多いという課題があった。

【課題を解決するための手段】
本発明は上記課題を解決するために、底板と、この底板の前方かつ上方に空間を形成する張り出し部を有した製品と、この製品の上面を覆う包装用天カバーと、前記製品底部に取付固定した包装用固定台と、この包装用固定台と前記張り出し部との間に配設し、張り出し部を支持するベース保護と、前記製品の側面を覆う側面保護カバーと、前記包装用天カバーと前記包装用固定台を上下方向からはさみこんで固定する輪状の包装用タテバンドと、前記側面保護カバーを前記製品と前記包装用固定台に固定する輪状の包装用ヨコバンドを備え、前記側面保護カバーは、前記ベース保護を配設した製品側面と、この側面と隣り合わせの左右両側面を含む３面以上の製品側面を一体的に覆い、なおかつ前記包装用固定台と係合し、包装用固定台からの脱落を防止する係合片を備えた構成としている。

上記発明によれば、電気温水器などの縦形重量物の製品をトラックの荷台へ積み上げたり積みおろしたり、簡易的なリフト式の運搬台車により運搬する際に、保護カバーのずれや脱落をなくすことにより、従来のように製品の側面や張り出し部を構成する配管ベースを損傷することがなくなるだけでなく、製造面においても保護カバーを取り付ける作業性が大幅に向上できる。すなわち、電気温水器などの製品の荷台への積み下ろしや運搬作業が少人数で確実に行うことができる。

さらに、必要最低限の包装部材はリユースも可能であり、本発明は釘を多用した木製の板、スチロール、接着剤を使用したものでは構成しておらず、環境保全の面にも配慮できた包装部材であるといえる。

【発明の実施の形態】
本発明の請求項１に記載した包装部材は、底板と、この底板の前方かつ上方に空間を形成する張り出し部を有した製品と、この製品の上面を覆う包装用天カバーと、前記製品底部に取付固定した包装用固定台と、この包装用固定台と前記張り出し部との間に配設し、張り出し部を支持するベース保護と、前記製品の側面を覆う側面保護カバーと、前記包装用天カバーと前記包装用固定台を上下方向からはさみこんで固定する輪状の包装用タテバンドと、前記保護カバーを前記製品と前記包装用固定台に固定する輪状の包装用ヨコバンドを備え、前記側面保護カバーは、前記ベース保護を配設した製品側面と、この側面と隣り合わせの左右両側面を含む３面以上の製品側面を一体的に覆い、なおかつ前記包装用固定台と係合し、包装用固定台からの脱落を防止する係合片を備えた構成としている。

そして電気温水器などの縦形重量物の製品をトラックの荷台へ積み上げたり積みおろしたり、簡易的なリフト式の運搬台車により運搬する際に、側面保護カバーのずれや脱落をなくすとともに、側面保護カバーにより張り出し部を垂直方向に支持していることにより、少人数で運搬を行っても従来のように製品の側面や張り出し部を損傷することがなくなるだけでなく、製造面においても側面保護カバーを取り付ける作業性が大幅に向上できる。さらに、必要最低限の包装部材はリユースも可能であり、本発明は釘を多用した木製の板、スチロール、接着剤を使用したものでは構成しておらず、環境保全の面にも配慮できた包装部材であるといえる。

そして、電気温水器などの縦形重量物の製品をトラックの荷台へ積み上げたり積みおろしたり、簡易的なリフト式の運搬台車により運搬する際に、側面保護カバーが包装用固定台と張り出し部の間にはまり込んでいることにより、より確実に側面保護カバーのずれや脱落をなくすことができ、従来のように張り出し部の形状に沿った製品側面の切り欠きコーナー部や張り出し部を損傷することがなくなる。さらに、製造面においても側面保護カバーを取り付ける作業性が大幅に向上できるだけでなく、側面保護カバーがベース保護の役割をも兼ねているので、部品点数削減の効果で製品の梱包や開梱の時間が短縮でき、さらなる合理化が実現できる。

本発明の請求項３に記載した包装部材は、側面保護カバーの折り曲げ部より形成した張り出し部支持は、張り出し部の左右両端側方部近傍に沿うように構成している。

そして、側面保護カバーの張り出し部支持が、張り出し部の左右両端側方部近傍に沿うように支持しているので、製品が垂直方向への落下衝撃を受けても、より確実に製品側面の切り欠きコーナー部の変形を防ぐことができる。

本発明の請求項４に記載した包装部材は、底板と、この底板の前方かつ上方に空間を形成する張り出し部を有した製品と、この製品の上面を覆う包装用天カバーと、この包装天カバーを支える包装支柱と、前記製品底部に取付固定した包装用固定台と、前記製品の側面を覆う側面保護カバーと、前記包装用天カバーと前記包装用固定台を上下方向からはさみこんで固定する輪状の包装用タテバンドと、前記保護カバーを前記包装支柱と前記包装用固定台に固定する輪状の包装用ヨコバンドを備え、前記側面保護カバーは、前記ベース保護を配設した製品側面と、この側面と隣り合わせの左右両側面を含む３面以上の製品側面を一体的に覆い、なおかつ側面保護カバーの折り曲げ部より前記包装用固定台と前記張り出し部との間にはまり込み、かつ前記包装支柱を嵌挿する張り出し部支持を形成し、かつ前記包装用固定台と係合し、包装用固定台からの脱落を防止する係合片を備えた構成としている。

そして、側面保護カバーの張り出し部支持が張り出し部を支持していることにより、製品が垂直方向への落下衝撃を受けた時に張り出し部が下方に下がることによって発生する、製品側面の切り欠きコーナー部と張り出し部の変形を防止することができる。さらに、側面保護カバーを製品と包装用固定台にセットした後に、左右の張り出し部支持に包装支柱を嵌挿すれば、張り出し部支持が包装支柱を確実に保持する働きをし、次に製品上面に包装天カバーをセットし、最後に製品背面側の包装支柱を包装天カバーにセットするようにすれば、包装支柱を包装タテバンドと包装ヨコバンドにより固定するまでの間、ゴムバンド等の仮止め手段で固定する必要がなく、包装組立作業の大幅な合理化が実現できる。

本発明の請求項５に記載した包装部材は、側面保護カバーの折り曲げ部より形成した張り出し部支持は、張り出し部の左右両端側方部近傍に沿い、なおかつ包装支柱にも沿うように構成している。

そして、側面保護カバーの張り出し部支持が、包装支柱を保持するとともに、張り出し部の左右両端側方部近傍にも沿うように支持しているので、製品が垂直方向への落下衝撃を受けた時に張り出し部が下方に下がることをより確実に防止でき、結果として製品側面の切り欠きコーナー部の変形を防ぐことができ、さらに包装組立作業において包装支柱をゴムバンド等の仮止め手段で固定する必要がない。

本発明の請求項６に記載した包装部材は、側面保護カバーの包装用固定台よりの高さｈは、包装支柱の包装用固定台から包装用天カバーの下端面までの高さＨに対してｈ＜Ｈの寸法関係とした構成としている。

そして、電気温水器などの縦形重量物の製品を運搬する時には、包装完成状態の製品を、地面上を引きずりながら移動させたり、包装用固定台の下面の両端を交互に接地させながら移動させるケースも多く、その際には、側面保護カバーを掴んで移動させるより、側面保護カバーが包装支柱を完全に覆わないようにし、包装支柱を掴んで移動した方が、手が滑りにくく確実な作業ができる。

以下、本発明の実施例について図面を用いて説明する。

図１（ａ）、図３、図４において、１は電気温水器の製品であり、平面形状の底板２と、底板２に一体的に取り付けられた配管ベ−ス３と、凸形の脚４と、前板５と、配管ベース３の側面形状に沿った切り欠き部のある右側板６及び左側板７と、裏板８と、天板９を有している。

配管ベース３は、底板２の前方かつ上方に配管接続のための空間を形成する張り出し部１０を構成する平面部３Ａと３Ｂを有し、平面部３Ａには給水・給湯・ふろ注湯配管用の貫通穴３Ｃが設けられており、前板５を垂直片４Ｄでねじ止め固定し、支持するようになっている。この張り出し部１０の下方が脚４を高くすることなしに得られる配管スペース１１であり、図４に示すように、給水・給湯・ふろ注湯・排水配管等が通るようになっている。

１５はダンボール製の包装用天カバーであり、製品１の天板９を覆い保護している。１６は略コ字形のダンボール製のベース保護であり、張り出し部１０を支持するように包装固定台１２上と張り出し部１０との間に挿入しており、製品落下時にかかる衝撃を緩衝し、配管ベース３が下方に変形することによる右側板６の切り欠きコーナー部６Ａと左右側板７の切り欠きコーナー部７Ａが変形することを防いでいる。

１７はダンボール製の側面保護カバーであり、ベース保護１６を配設した製品側面である前板５と、前板５の左右側面である右側板６と左側板７を一体的に保護しており、包装用固定台１２と係合する係合片１７Ａと、矢印Ｍ方向へのずれを防ぐ係止片１７Ｂを有している。

次に側面保護カバー１７を図２（ａ）に示す展開状態から、２点鎖線の罫線１７Ｃに沿って図２（ｂ）に示す状態に折り曲げ、左右の係合片１７Ａを包装用固定台１２の支柱部材１２Ａに係合させながら、前板５に密着するように包装用固定台１２Ｂ上に乗せる。同時に係合片１７Ｂを桁部材１２Ｂと係合させることにより、側面保護カバー１７が矢印Ｍ方向にずれたりすることがないようにしている。

すなわち一体的に構成された側面保護カバー１７により、ゴムバンド等の仮止め手段を用いなくても、側面保護カバー１７を確実に包装用固定台１２上に保持することができ、さらにベ−ス保護１６の脱落防止も確実にできるようになっている。

図８、図９において、２０は包装支柱であり、製品１側面の各コーナー部の保護と、製品１が長期間数段に積み上げられた状態で保管された場合の荷重より製品１を保護するものである。この包装支柱２０は紙製の円筒を断面がＬ形になるよう圧縮成形した材料でできており、製品１側面の各コーナーに４本配置され、包装用固定台１２の上で包装用天カバー１５を支えている。そして包装用ヨコバンド１９により締結固定している。

次に以上のような包装支柱２０を備えた構成にて梱包作業の手順を説明する。図８に示す側面保護カバー１７は、前記した実施例２の図６（ａ）と図６（ｂ）に示したものと同構成であり、包装用固定台１２への取付手順も同じである。側面保護カバー１７の包装用固定台１２への取付が完了すると、包装支柱２０を左右それぞれの張り出し部支持１７Ｅに嵌挿しする。この時すでに張り出し部支持１７Ｅは包装用固定台１２と張り出し部１０との間にはまり込んでいることより、包装支柱が倒れることも、側面保護カバー１７が包装用固定台１２から脱落することもない。

次に包装用天カバー１５を被せた後に、裏板８側より残り２本の包装支柱２本を包装用天カバ−１５内に嵌挿することにより包装用支柱２０はさらに安定する。　図９は図８に示す包装完成状態の製品をＡ−Ａで切り、矢印方向から見た断面図であり、製品１と側面保護カバー１７と包装支柱２０の位置関係を表している。

次に包装用のタテバンド１８にて包装用天カバーと包装用固定台１２を上下方向からはさみ込んで固定する。そして、包装用ヨコバンド１９で保護カバー１７と包装支柱２０を確実に製品１と包装用固定台１２に密着固定する。

すなわち一体的に構成された側面保護カバー１７に包装用固定台１２と前記張り出し部１０との間にはまり込み、かつ前記包装支柱２０を嵌挿する張り出し部支持１７Ｅを形成することにより、ゴムバンド等の仮止め手段を用いなくても、側面保護カバー１７と包装支柱２０を確実に包装用固定台１２上に保持することができる。

図１０（ａ）と図１０（ｂ）に示す側面保護カバーと図６（ａ）と図６（ｂ）に示す側面保護カバーとの違いは、罫線１７Ｅの本数を増やすことにより、張り出し部支持１７Ｆが張り出し部１０の左右両端側方部近傍に沿い、かつ包装支柱２０にも沿うようにした点にあり、製品１が垂直方向への落下衝撃を受けても、より確実に製品側面の切り欠きコーナー部６Ａと７Ａの変形を防ぐことができる。

また側面保護カバー１７の包装用固定台１２よりの高さｈを、包装支柱２０の包装用固定台１２から包装用天カバー１９の下端面までの高さＨに対してｈ＜Ｈの寸法関係とすることにより、包装支柱２０が側面保護カバー１７により完全に覆われることがなくなり、包装完成状態の製品１を地面上を引きずりながら移動させたり、包装用固定台１２の下面の両端を交互に接地させながら移動させる際に、包装支柱２０を掴みながら作業でき、手が滑りにくく確実な作業ができる。

【発明の効果】
