本発明は、自動車用空調装置のフィルタ、特に、車種によって長手方向寸法が異なる各種フィルタ受け部に対して共通化を図るようにした自動車用空調装置のフィルタに関する。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
一般に、自動車用空調装置のフィルタは、車種によってフィルタ受け部の長手方向寸法が異なるため、車種ごとにサイズが設定されていた。そして、小型車又は中型車に合わせたサイズのフィルタを大型車用のフィルタとして使用した場合、濾過性能が低下し、また、大型車に合わせたサイズのフィルタを小型車又は中型車用のフィルタとして使用したときに、フィルタ受け部に余剰スペースが発生するという問題があった。

本発明は、上記の如き問題点を解決し、複数車種の空調装置に使用した場合に、フィルタ受け部に余剰スペースを発生することがなく、しかもフィルタの濾過性能を維持できる共通化可能な自動車用空調装置のフィルタを提供することを目的とする。

【課題を解決するための手段】
請求項1に係る自動車用空調装置のフィルタによると、濾材の伸縮方向と平行な一対の辺において枠材で固定されていない部分に対応する濾材部分は、伸縮自在となり、このフィルタをフィルタ受け部にセットする際、上記濾材部分を伸縮させることによって、フィルタの寸法をフィルタ受け部のサイズに合わせることができる。このため、余剰スペースを発生することなくフィルタの共通化を図ることができるようになる。
