空気マイナスイオンは近年医学的にも効果が証明されてきており今後需要が増大し健康増進、維持に貢献するものと思われる。貢献を確実にするには、人間が長い時間滞在する部屋に配備するのが良い。家庭、或いは職場に置くことでマイナスイオンが多い空間を作り出すことができる。外装ケースを樹脂にするより木製にすることで電気製品から家具調度品としての位置付けが可能となる。又樹脂を使用しないことから、環境にも優しい商品として位置付けできる空気マイナスイオン発生装置が可能となり、健康増進、維持に貢献するものと思われる。
【従来の技術】
従来の技術として木製のケースを使用した場合、放電針からの電子(e−)が木製の外装ケースにマイナスの静電気として帯電する為に放電針の近くの外装ケース(マイナス)に押されて放電針からの電子(e−)の放出が減少していた。

これを解決する為に木製ケースの中に導電性の金属等からなるベースを配置しこのベースに電源或いは放電針を配備した上で、ベースに正極の電圧(DCの0V)を印加し電気的に中和をしていた。
【0003】この処置をしない場合吸水率が大きい木製ケースは数千ボルトに帯電する為、木製ケースに人間が触れて人体の他部が金属等に触るとそこで放電現象が起きて静電気放電ショックがあつた。
