【発明の属する技術分野】この発明は、犬や猫、猿その他のペット用健康装身具に関し、トルマリン粉末を配合してマイナスイオンが充分に発生するようにしたペット用健康装身具を提供しようとするものである。

【従来の技術】近年、マイナスイオンの治療的効果が注目されており、例えば、マイナスイオンが沈静的な作用を持ち、沈痛、快眠、鎮咳、制汗、食欲増進、血圧降下、爽快感、疲労防止等の効果を有することが報告されている。さらにマイナスイオンは、抗菌、防臭等効果を有することも知られている。しかしながら、マイナスイオンが治療やその他の効果を有するとしても、マイナスイオン発生装置あるいは機器自体が高価であり、一部の病院等において用いられているのみで一般に広く普及されるには至っていない。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】一方、電気石と称されるトルマリンは、極性結晶体であり、電場中に置かれなくても電気分極を生じており、自然界に存在するマイナスイオンがトルマリン鉱石のプラス電極に吸い付けられ、絶えず、マイナス電極からプラス電極に向けて電子が流れ、マイナス電極からマイナス電子が放出されることが知られている。このような現象に着目して、トルマリン粉末を繊維にコーティングしたりあるいは繊維に織込み、練り込みなどをして、下着類、サポーター等として利用することが試みられている。さらに、化粧品素材などにも練り込むことによって、美顔化粧品としての利用も図られている。しかしながら、トルマリンのマイナスイオンの発生量は、きわめて微弱であり、充分な効果が得られていないのが現状である。
【０００４】また、たとえば特開平７−１４９９５６号公報には、トルマリンの粉末を担持したゴム組成物とその製造方法において、弾性耐磨耗性、耐老化性等の優れた性質を持ち、トルマリン担持物が各種洗浄用具等の接水反応材のほか、電極力値を均一にかつ高め得るとしているが、該トルマリンのマイナスイオンについての記載はない。さらに、トルマリンを担持せしめマイナスイオンの発生による治癒効果、疲労回復、脱臭効果等では、目的別に応じ即効性のみならず、さらにその持続性が要求される場合がある。
【０００５】このため、たとえば特願平８−３３３５１７号においては、ゲル状弾性体にトルマリンを配合し熱成形して得られる弾性体が、マイナスイオンの発生量が増加して、各種の用途に有効に利用し得ることにつき提案している。しかしながら、上記により得られた弾性体ではマイナスイオンの発生量はきわめて微弱であり、健康に寄与するだけの充分な効果が得られないという問題があり、その解決が望まれている。そのため、本発明者らは先に特願２０００−３８３６１１号において、トルマリン粉末１〜５重量％をゴム弾性素材もしくはプラスチック素材１００重量％に添加混合し、所定のリング形状に成形したことを特徴とするリング状健康装身具を提案した。
この発明は、さらに上記発明のリング状健康装身具をペット用に改良したものである。

【課題を解決するための手段】すなわちこの発明のペット用健康装身具は、トルマリン粉末１〜５重量％をゴム弾性素材もしくはプラスチック素材１００重量％に添加混合し、所定の紐状に形成したことを特徴とするものである。
【０００７】この発明のペット用健康装身具は、上記紐状本体が、一端に挿入孔を設けた連結部を形成するとともに所定の間隔で結球を形成され、紐状本体の他端を挿入孔を設けた連結部に通し、結球部分が連結部の挿入孔に係合して抜け止めされるようにしたことをも特徴とするものである。

【００１１】このように、１〜５重量％のトルマリンを含有するゴム弾性素材もしくはプラスチック素材、特にシリコンゴム製のペット用健康装身具は、トルマリンによるマイナスイオンの発生量の顕著な向上、並びに適宜粒径のトルマリン粉末の混合によって装身具としての違和感のない形態を得る上で非常に有用であった。そして、微粉末化したトルマリンをゴム弾性素材もしくはプラスチック素材に練り込み配合する場合、該トルマリン粉末の発揮するマイナスイオンによる顕著な効果を得るためには、トルマリン粉末が少なくとも平粒粒径０．１μｍ〜０．０１ｍｍであり、当該トルマリン粉末が、ゴム弾性素材もしくはプラスチック素材１００重量％に対して１〜５重量％のごく低濃度の混合領域が肝要であるとの知見を得た。
さらにこのような１〜５重量％のトルマリンを含有するゴム弾性素材もしくはプラスチック素材、特にシリコンゴム製の装身具は、ペット用のネックレス等として用いた場合、非常に顕著な作用効果を発揮することが判明し、本発明の完成に至ったものである。

【発明の実施の形態】以下、この発明に係るペット用健康装身具の実施の形態を、図面に基いて詳細に説明する。図１はこの発明のペット用健康装身具の１実施例を示し、首に装着するものに適用した場合の展開状態の側面図、図２はリング状に組み付ける場合について説明する斜視図である。
【００１３】図１および図２において、この発明のペット用健康装身具１は、天然ゴムまたは合成ゴムからなるゴム弾性素材もしくはプラスチック素材２内に、トルマリン粉末３を低濃度に配合したものである。そして、この発明のペット用健康装身具１においては、１００重量％のゴム弾性素材もしくはプラスチック素材２に対して１〜５重量％のトルマリン粉末３を配合することが必要である。
【００１４】上記ペット用健康装身具１は、紐状本体１１に所定の間隔で結球１２が配置されている。またペット用健康装身具１は、紐状本体１１の一端に連結部１３の挿入孔を形成するとともに、紐状本体１１の他端を連結部１３の挿入孔に通し、結球１２部分が連結部１３の挿入孔に係合して抜け止めされるようになっている。
【００１５】すなわち、紐状本体１１の他端を連結部１３の挿入孔に通して所定のリングサイズとなるようリングの径を調整すると、結球１２部分が連結部１３の挿入孔の側面端部に係合して抜け止めされるのである。もちろん、連結部１３の挿入孔の内径１４は、結球１２の大きさよりも小さい径もしくは幅とすることが望ましく、例えば図示したような結球１２よりも小さい幅で、かつ結球１２よりも長くすることができる。このようにすれば、紐状本体１１を連結部１３の挿入孔から抜き取る際、内径１４の長さが連結部１３の挿入孔の変形を容易にし、紐状本体１１は連結部１３の挿入孔から簡単に抜き取ることができる。
【００１６】この発明のペット用健康装身具１において、１００重量％のゴム弾性素材もしくはプラスチック素材２に対して１〜５重量％のトルマリン粉末３を配合する理由は、ゴム弾性素材もしくはプラスチック素材２に対しトルマリン粉末３をほぼ等量以上に配合しても、あまり際立ったマイナスイオンの発生作用を検出することができなかったことにある。またそのため、ゴム弾性素材もしくはプラスチック素材２に対しトルマリン粉末３をほぼ等量から濃度が低くなるように配合を変えていったが、やはり際立ったマイナスイオンの発生作用を検出することができなかった。ところが、念のためにゴム弾性素材もしくはプラスチック素材２に対しトルマリン粉末３がより低濃度になるよう、すなわち１００重量％のゴム弾性素材もしくはプラスチック素材２に対して１０重量％以下、とりわけ１〜５重量％のトルマリン粉末３を配合したところ、案に相違してマイナスイオンの検出量が飛躍的に増大することが判明したのである。
【００１７】この発明において使用される熱可塑性樹脂、熱硬化性樹脂、天然ゴムまたは合成ゴムとしては、熱可塑性樹脂、熱硬化性樹脂、天然ゴムまたは合成ゴム単体、または熱可塑性樹脂、熱硬化性樹脂、天然ゴムまたは合成ゴムの混合物や積層構造物、また上記複数の種類に係る天然ゴムまたは合成ゴムのラテックスを配合した混合物を主体とするものであることが望ましい。ちなみにプラスチック素材としてはナイロン樹脂やポリエステル樹脂、ポリプロピレンやサーリン樹脂、あるいはその他、エンジニアリングプラスチック類等が使用可能である。また合成ゴムラテックスとしては、イソプレンラテックス、クロロプレンラテックス、アクリロニトリルラテックス、ポリウレタンラテックス、エチレンプロピレン共重合ラテックス、スチレンブタジエンラテックス等を使用することが可能である。そして、ゴムラテックス組成物１００重量％に、平均粒径０．１μｍ〜０．０１ｍｍのトルマリン粉末を１〜５重量部混合し、加硫剤及び加硫促進剤を配合した混合物を熱加硫することによって得ることができる。
【００１８】さらに、この発明において使用されるゴム弾性素材もしくはプラスチック素材２として、シリコンゴムを使用することが望ましい。このシリコンゴムは、身体に装着して使用する装身具に用いた場合でも、ほとんどアレルギー等を生じることがなく、また非常に肌触りのよい装身具を得ることができる。またトルマリン粉末を含有させた場合においても、その分散性がよいのでほぼ均一にトルマリン粉末を混合することができ、非常に効率よくマイナスイオンを発する製品を得ることができる。
【００１９】この発明で使用するトルマリンとしては、ショ−ルトルマリン、リチウムトルマリン、ドラバイトトルマリン、ルベライトトルマリン、ピンクトルマリン、インデコライト、パライバトルマリン、ウォ−タ−メロン等を用いることができ、特に黒トルマリンと呼ばれるショ−ルトルマリンが好ましい。
【００２０】トルマリン鉱石の粒径は、０．１μｍ〜５００μｍ程度、好ましくは、０．５〜１００μｍ，より好ましくは、０．５〜１０μｍで、この範囲の粒径とすることによって表面積が拡大して多量のマイナスイオンを発生させることができる。トルマリンの使用量は、ラテックス組成物固形分１００重量％に対し、約１〜５重量％である。使用量が１重量％以下の場合にはマイナスイオンの発生量が充分ではなく、また５重量％以上では逆にマイナスイオンの発生量が増加しないことが判明した。その理由は詳らかではないが、トルマリン粉末の分散性が低下して、マイナスイオンの発生が相殺されるためではないかと考えられる。
【００２１】熱加硫するゴム弾性素材の加硫促進剤としては、従来使用されている適宜の促進剤を用いることができ、加硫速度条件に応じて選択および配合量を決めることができる。特に限定するものはないが、通常配合部として０．１〜１．５重量部が好ましい。また加硫剤として、コロイドイオウが好ましい。配合部として０〜１．５重量部が適当である。なお、上記配合部０は促進剤加硫による無イオウ加硫である。活性剤として、活性亜鉛華、１号亜鉛華があり、配合部として０．５〜１０重量部、好ましくは０．８〜５．０重量部が好ましい。分散剤として、オレイン酸カリウム、オレイン酸ナトリウム、ラウリル硫酸ナトリウム等があり、分散度合によって、それぞれ選択することができ、配合量として０．５〜５重量部が好ましい。液体安定剤およびＰＨ調製剤として、アンモニア水で通常０．２〜０．７重量部が好ましい。
【００２２】シリコンゴムの場合の加硫促進剤や加硫剤、活性剤、分散剤、液体安定剤およびＰＨ調製剤等は、上記ゴムラテックスの場合とほぼ同様の種類および配合量が用いられる。
【００２３】上記実施例においては、この発明のペット用健康装身具を首環に適用した場合について説明したが、ブレスレットやアンクレット（足首用）、あるいはその他のリング状に形成される種々のペット用健康装身具に適用可能であることはいうまでもない。
【００２４】また上記実施例では、この発明のペット用健康装身具１をほぼ円形断面に形成した例について説明したが、ペット用健康装身具１１を矩形断面の帯状に形成してもよく、もちろんその他の断面形状に成形することは自由に行うことができる。
さらに、ペット用健康装身具１を求められる長さよりも長くしておき、図２に示すように所定の長さになるよう、はさみ１５等で切断して使用したり、複数のリングを形成するよう折り返して２重、３重のリングとして使用することもできる。もちろん、ペットの体格は様々であるので、予め所定のサイズのものを複数準備しておくことが望ましい。その場合でも、結球１２間を１単位とし、適宜に位置で切断することにより、所望のサイズのペット用健康装身具１１とすることができるのはいうまでもない。

【発明の効果】この発明に係るトルマリンをゴム弾性素材もしくはプラスチック素材１００重量％に対し、約１〜５重量％添加混合して所定の紐状に形成したペット用健康装身具は、トルマリンを単独で用いる場合と比較して、多量のマイナスイオンを発生し、その効果を持続することができるため、ペット用健康治療用具、防臭製品として優れた効果を奏する。また、この発明のペット用健康装身具の形態により、優れた消臭、殺菌効果を持ち、さらに弾性体として持つ適度なゴム弾性機能によって首や手首に装着しやすい。
【００２７】犬の首に着用したところ、何らかの原因で痛みがある場合でも痛みが感じられない状態になってきたように見える。そして、１週間にわたり着用継続した結果、該試着品を取り外しても、苦痛を抱えているようには見えず、マイナスイオン効果の即効性とともに、持続性が発揮されることが判った。
