Abstract
Description
【0001】

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a camera having timekeeping means for measuring the date and time when photographing.
[0002]
[Prior art]
Some cameras have a so-called date function that captures the date and time of shooting on a film. The camera having this date function has a date imprinting unit for imprinting the date and time at the time of photographing, and a timing circuit unit as a time measuring unit for measuring the date and time. Normally, power is supplied from the main battery to the clock circuit, but when the main battery is replaced, power is temporarily not supplied from the main battery, and the clock function of the clock circuit stops. When the timing function of the timing circuit unit is stopped, the date and time measured by the timing circuit unit is initialized, and a deviation occurs from the actual date and time. In order to eliminate this discrepancy, it is necessary for the camera user to correct the date and time setting of the timing circuit unit, but the date and time setting correction operation may be troublesome.
[0003]
Therefore, as described in JP-A-7-28159 and JP-A-8-286258, when the main battery is removed for battery replacement or the like, the auxiliary battery supplies power instead of the main battery. There is a camera.
[0004]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
In this way, a camera having an auxiliary battery in the camera body has an advantage that a battery having a smaller capacity than that provided in order to constantly supply power to the timing circuit unit may be used, but a battery other than the main battery is provided. There is no change, and there is a demand for a camera that can back up the timing circuit more efficiently.
[0005]
Therefore, an object of the present invention is to provide a camera capable of backing up the timing circuit unit without providing an auxiliary battery in the camera body.
[0006]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
The camera of the present invention includes a remote operation device that can be attached to and detached from the main body, and can be remotely operated by the remote operation device. The remote operation device is powered by power supply means provided therein. The remote control is possible, and the main body includes an electric circuit unit including a time measuring means for measuring the date and time at the time of shooting, and a main battery for supplying electric power to the electric circuit unit, and the remote control device includes When the main battery is removed from the main body while being attached to the main body, the power supply means supplies power to the timing means.
[0007]
According to the camera of the present invention, when the main battery is removed, power is supplied from the remote control device attached to the main body to the time measuring means. Therefore, even if the power supply from the main battery to the time measuring means is stopped, the time measuring means can be used. Can be backed up.
