しかし、プラグをコンセントより挿脱したか否かは、外出先においては記憶にたよるだけであり、確実に確認することができない、という問題があった。

この発明が提供するスイッチは、このような従来の問題点を解決するためになされたもので、コンセントと、これに挿脱可能な操作ボタンとよりなるスイッチであって、前記操作ボタンをコンセントに挿入したときONとなり、コンセントから挿脱したときOFFとなる構成としたものである。

図において、Cはコンセント、BはコンセントCの差し込み穴1に挿入する操作ボタンである。
差し込み穴1には、操作ボタンBを挿入したとき、先端の導電部1aと接触する端子2、3が設けられている。両端子2、3は、ばね4、4で付勢されて常時突出状態にあり、前記導電部1aと弾性接触している。5、6はリード線で、それぞれ端子2、3に接続されている。
実施例のスイッチは、このような構成となっているので、操作ボタンBをコンセントCに挿入するとONとなり、挿脱するとOFFとなる。このため、スイッチを切るときは、操作ボタンBを必ず抜きとらなければならない。したがって、外出時などに操作ボタンBを携帯していなければOFFされていないことが分りスイッチの切り忘れを確実にチエックできる。

以上説明したように、本発明によれば、上述のように構成したので、操作ボタンを挿脱して上記ボタンを所持することによって、外出先でのスイッチOFFを確実に確認できる。このため、電気製品の電源の切り忘れによる火災がなくなる。
